I own several pairs of Earth/Earth Origin Brand shoes...all in 9 medium...1 in a wide (C) width suggested by reviews...which was a very good call. They all fit perfectly. After reading reviews for the Marietta... some said they were spot on for size...others said they felt 1/2 size too big...I ordered my regular size plus 1/2 size down. My normal size did exactly as at least 1 reviewer indicated, the heel of my regular size slipped out with every step. The 1/2 size smaller felt just a bit too tight. SInce I had 1 style of Earth that required C width, I took a chance and ordered 1/2 size down but wide width. While the pair I own indicate 'wide' as 'C' width, wide in this style shows as 'D'. Sadly this was much too wide. The style is adorable and exactly what I have been looking for but for some reason it just does not work for me. Three pairs of my Earth shoes...peep toe booties...all leather...are a perfect fit. I am very sad and disappointed I have to return these shoes :(

I loved the look and feel of this shoe. Although I could not see my toes! Seemed silly to have an open-toe shoe with no toes peeking out!! Sadly, I returned them. Note: This could just be the configuration of my foot, possibly they will work for someone else.

I really wanted to like these shoes, however, as previous reviews have stated, they run a little longer than usual and no sign of my toes, which is very odd.

I loved these, but they run about a half size large. Very cute but my foot was sliding around in them. I returned them and tried the next size down because they didn’t come in the half size, but they were too small.

Sadly, these didn’t look good on me.

I purchased my regular size 9 wide. The boot was wide enough but being a peep toe It was so long my toes weren’t showing. I don’t think I could get my foot in the booties if I sized down.

These fit good but the way they are cut, my toes don't shoe. Isn't this the point of a peep toe! No peep!! They are on their way back.

The toe opening on these is ridiculously small. You can hardly see your big toe at the opening and so it ruins the whole appearance of the shoe. Returned.

Listen to the reviews that say “you can’t see your toes”. I tried my usual size 7.5M. Then tried 7W, thinking my foot would slide further into the show. Neither worked. A peep toe shoe should show your toes. Just looks weird otherwise.

Cute shoe but way too big-can’t see toe at all. No peep toe so looks ridiculous. Wish I had reviewed comments before purchasing as this was written by many. Sending back.

These shoes are gorgeous, but very uncomfortable and the sizing is wrong. After reading previous reviews, I ordered 8.9 and 9 and I did not see any difference at all between the two pairs. In both of them, my toes did not even reach the peep hole, but they did not feel large otherwise. The arch support was in the wrong place for me, which never ever happened with any other shoes. But if you can figure out the sizing, they do look great and they seem to be well made otherwise.

These shoes are so strange! I read the other reviews and ordered two sizes to try. There was no difference between 8.5 and 9 and I checked, I got the correct sizes. My foot didn't even get close to the peep hole, so the shoes just looked weird. I also can't say they are very comfortable: black ones were size 8.5 and they were not deep enough. The sage ones were a size 9 and a little better, but still not something I would call comfortable. Both pairs are going back!

I normally wear a size 9 which is what I ordered. The shoe was way too big - looked like a size 10. I would advise anyone purchasing this shoe to go down at least one size. Unfortunately, I cannot attest to the comfort of the shoe because it was so large.

I normally wear an 8.5 wide and ordered that size even though the Zappos recommendation was size 9. They were too big and my toes do not peep through. I reordered the 8 wide and while they fit width wise, they are still so long that my toes do not peep through. Sending these back too.
