Supple leather, very little break-in needed. I have wide toes, high arches and narrow-ish heels and these fit well.

Lovely boots. Very comfortable. Lots of sleek, minimalist, urban appeal with supple leather and a nice stable heel. No annoying leather bend putting pressure on the toes. Has a more fitted ankle that fits under most pants legs without catching the hem. No break in needed. No size discrepancy - fits like all my other 40’s. I would definitely recommend these to my friends.

If you’re ON the fence with size, go low. Fabulous shoe.

I have so many problems with my feet. All I can say about these is that my bunions have room and the tightness around the ankle helps keep the boot in place. My heel also stays in place. The boots are very attractive and the leather/workmanship is worth the price. Happy that I finally found a boot for winter.

Very comfortable shoe, right out of the box. I liked the burgundy option, for something a bit different to brown, black and beige. They were a little more casual than I thought from the picture, it may be because the front/toe part is a bit wider thank I usually wear. But a solid choice.

I have bunions and so I have difficulty finding any kind of shoe/boot that fits. Sometimes an 8.5 wide will fit sometimes a 9 M will fit (like most people). I got these in a 40 and they are wonderful for me. I don't slip out of the heel and they are very comfortable! Love!

I wear an 11M so I bought these in a 42 and they fit perfectly. I thought they were a wee bit tight at first, mostly due to my bunions, but after wearing them around the house for just an hour or so they were totally fine. I've only worn them once (for a full day) and I have to say they are extremely comfortable. As others have stated there's really no break in period and the boots are very stylish. I'm so happy with this purchase!

I bought Ecco ankle boots before. They have changed the sizing..making them larger. I have a small foot, size 35. Use to fit me great and now their boots are all too big. Wish they would return to their original sizing.

My new favorite boots! I have purchased a couple pairs of black boots recently and these are the most comfortable. Straight out of the box I wore them all day. The leather is soft and the cushioned foot bed is awesome! They are a flat boot which i wanted for work yet still dressy. You can wear them with jeans or dress pants. They are worth every penny. I love them.

I love these boots. I usually wear size 8, but I got the 39 and they were definitely too big. I returned them for the 38 and they fit great! No break in period, super soft and comfortable. I had knee surgery about a year ago and really have to make sure I wear shoes with good support - these are fantastic!

With size 10 feet, it can be challenging to find a boot that does not look like a Moon Boot or pinch off circulation in the toes. These boots are sleek and comfortable. The arch is positioned slightly posterior to my natural arch, but I can wear them without discomfort and I believe that will resolve itself as the footbed is cushioning and supportive without stiffness. The sole has good traction on smooth surfaces but does not have deep gravel-trapping grooves. The opening at the ankle is narrow enough that I am not concerned about it catching rain. Metal zippers are a bonus! The leather looks good, and there are no messy stitches or crooked cuts in the leather. The colour is as depicted on my monitor, and I love the shading at the toe and heel. All in all, it's a really comfortable and pretty boot, perfect for skirts and jeans.

The boot is beautiful and well made. Sadly, I had to return them. Too bad it doesn't come in a wide width.

I really really wanted to keep these boots. The leather is soft and they appear to be very well made. I first ordered them in my usual size, 40, but they were too big in length and the heel was a little wide. The toe box was perfect. I then ordered a size 39 but although the length was now perfect the toe box was too narrow. Even my husband liked the looks of these! So every day for 3 days I have tried them on again - with different socks, etc. but I cannot keep at this price if they aren't just right. Sadly, I am returning them both.

The size was fine a half size up, and I liked the minamalist style, but when I put them on, it was loose around my ankles and didn't look as stylish as I'd hoped. Thank you Zappos for the free return shipping.

I usually wear a size 7. I purchased these in sizes 37 and 38 based on the reviews. The 38 felt too big at the toe and 37 were too snug. Sadly, returning.

These are very masculine and run very large. I am always a size 7 in any shoe I try on, these were huge, size down.
