Bought this while traveling and its awesome., for the price you can't beat this lovely piece of addition to my luggage. It also slides into my carry on handle bar for added convenience.

This is my first "business" backpack. I've used a shoulder bag for years and made the transition with hopes of preventing back problems in the future. Its a perfect size to fit a laptop, iPad, notebook, wallet + more. 4 stars instead of 5 because you need 2 hands and a surface to rest the bag on to easily close the main zipper, if no surface to rest the bag on the bag will zip closed but it requires some juggling.

Very happy with this backpack. Bought it to replace a highly structured laptop backpack that I've been using for many years, but just got tired of the weight. My 13" Dell laptop from work fits perfectly and the big charger fits in the outside pocket. Plenty of room to spare for papers, lunch or a pair of shoes inside and still some more space in side pockets and outside zippered pocket. It's light weight and looks good. My only wish is that the shoulder straps were a bit more structured. The padding is fine but they are a little floppy. The handles on top are great! Unlike other reviewers, I find that the backpack can sit upright on its own (metal studs on the bottom would be a great addition, Baggalini) and zippers work smoothly. You do have to use two hands to open the top zipper due to the structure but not a problem. I'm very happy that I got it.

This is a great bag and I love how it opens and won't collapse. It would be a perfect travel backpack if it were a bit bigger (taller) to fit a bit more stuff.

I loved the backpack, it is a very useful size and has functional pockets. But I had to return it because the straps are not adjustable enough. I am 5'3" and I couldn't make the straps short enough tonwear the backpack comfortably even though the backpack itself is short and fits me well.

This just wasn't the backpack for me. I need more organization than this bag has. The two outside zipper pockets are slim and just barely big enough to hold a phone charger, lip balm and maybe a paperback book. Main compartment is roomy with a laptop sleeve, but I felt like my things got lost in the bottom, and I had to dig around to find my keys and sunglasses.

I really like the bag, but one of the zippers to close the main pocket doesn't work.

If your petite like me, this bag will fit you big.. straps are not adjustable after a certain point and hangs to far down. Other than that, bag is nice but more like a luggage bag and not for daily wear.

I've had this backpack abt a month. From the beginning the zippers on both sides of the top get stuck. One has never worked and the other takes some tugging to get it to work. It's frustrating because I really do like the size and style of this bag.

I was so ready to buy this...but then I saw that the laptop dimensions are only 10 x 13. Which is such a shame! I really like the styling and the wild plum color is great. But it won't fit my 15.6" lenovo laptop. So it's no good to me. I guess I'll have to keep on looking...

I was so excited to put this travel Val to use. I bought this bag for myself after 20+ years using my heavy leather Coach backpack. This one seemed to have all the things my old bag didn't - lightweight, inside/exterior zippered storage, iPad compartment, side water bottle holder & luggage handle slide to work w/ suitcase. UNFORTUNATELY, no one used the bag to test the functional offerings designed into the bag. Once I filled the bag w/ items I always travel w/, it all fit fine & was easy to organize BUT I wasn't able to slide my water bottle in OR slide the bag over my suitcase handle since neither of these offerings have elastic for a little give. SO BAD. Why design these things into the bag if you can't use them unless the bag is half empty. You were so headed in the right direction but then failed miserably. Very disappointing.

Love this brand and the quality has always been excellent. However, the stitching along the side of the zipper isn't straight causing it to be difficult to slide the zipper past this spot.

I purchased based on previous reviews that stated the bag stays upright. I have a 13" laptop and usually carry a few file folders and legal pad. No arrangement of contents would keep the bag standing.Unfortunately, this is a MUST HAVE for me. There is no structure to the bottom of the bag so it functions as a normal backpack should if that is your need. Even though I did not actually use the bag once I realized it would not stand upright, I would be concerned about the zipper long-term. It is plastic which should be sturdier than metal, but it got stuck within all the loose fibers.

Like the overall design, but I had two with issues - bad stitching and faulty zipper. The interior is spacious and it's lightweight and easy to carry. I like it, but the quality is lacking a bit.

I would totally buy this bag as I love all things Baggalini, BUT totally missing the boat is the fact none of the bags accommodate the larger laptops that many of us still use and continue to purchase. Can you please design something for us??? Thanks

This bag was my daily work bag for months. I loved it right up until I had to take it outside in heavy rain. The front pocket is adorable, but the raised extra fabric that minimizes the visual impact of the zipper also collects water on top of the zipper, which lets the water run straight into the pocket and onto whatever you might have stowed there. Because of the way the fabric sits, that zipper doesn't quite shut completely either. I was outside in rain for maybe 10 minutes total. So much water got into the outside bottom pocket that it seeped into the main compartment too. I needed to take everything out of the bag and let it dry for two days before I could use it again, at which point I bought a bag from a different company that promises to be designed for the rain. The top carry handles are comfortable, but the little snap to strap them together is sewn on and makes them uncomfortable to carry even when it is unsnapped. Other similar style bags (I have two) have a snap closure strap that slides over to one side when you are not using it. I removed the little snap strap and now it is very comfortable to carry, provided it is not raining of course! I love the way this bag looks. I love the way this bag is organized. The size is perfect for a small daily commute bag, and the frame top is perfect. This has kept me from tossing it after the rain incident: it is now my at-home bag for my laptop to take it from room to room in my dry house. It is perfect for that, but it could be so much more!

I bought this because I was looking for a streamlined backpack for my essentials. I was dedicated to only bringing 'the necessities'. I even bought a flask shaped water bottle to fit in the side pocket. Ultimately the bag ended up being a big frustration as it was so tightly packed even with just my ipad, makeup, cords, and wallet, it was difficult to access items in it at all. The zipper is poor design, because you're needlessly turning a corner to close the bag and ultimately the zipper failed at the turn. It's difficult to close even with nothing in it. Sadly, I only used it for two trips! Love the baggallini brand, so will give something else a shot.

I bought this bag elsewhere a couple of months ago, and finally used it on my most recent trip. I like it okay enough, but my issue is when you use the pockets, with the exception of the front outside pocket, whatever you place in those pockets takes up valuable inside the bag space. It was a very tight fit for my airplane necessities and my camera. Plus if you use the space inside of your bag then you can't properly utilize the bottle pockets on the sides of the bag, the only thing I could fit in that side pocket was my phone and it was still tight. This was a poor design.

I started using this bag in September & the condition of the handles would make you think I have had it for e 5 years. I generally like the bag a lot and I'm disappointed in the low quality of the handles.

I had the backpack for two years until some teeth on the main exterior zipper broke. I used the backpack primarily as a laptop case and took it on a few business trips, but I always stored it under the seat of the plane. The cost to get a new zipper was about as much as the cost to buy a whole new backpack -- so I didn't get the zipper replaced. I also learned by calling Bagagallini's customer service that the warranty on parts is only for 1 year. Very disappointed in the quality of the zipper and the very short warranty, especially for what I paid for the backpack.

I bought this for my wife for a Christmas gift. The top zippers kept sticking so we returned it. I must say it was a very well made product except for the sticking zippers. Too bad she really liked it.

I purchased this back pack about 3 months ago and was surprised it no longer had the built in purselet, in addition the quality was much leas superior than the bag I purchased 2 years ago. The straps frayed and the metal is coming through the end of the opening. I am very disappointed and will not purchase again.

I’d probably give this backpack a 5 because it easily holds my 16” MacBook Pro and has lots of room for other items including space to hold a hoodie and even a light weight outfit like leggings and a tee for overseas travel. It’s also sleek looking and the nylon fabric has a nice hand but it’s clearly pretty tough too. Alas the top zipper didn’t work at all beyond an inch or two and although this backpack would solve my travel storage problems I couldn’t get it to work. I’ve never had this issue with a Baggalini product before but I had to send it back.
