I’m used to Clark’s feeling pretty comfortable on my slightly wide feet without having to buy a wide size. These took slightly more breaking in than usual but by the second wear are pretty comfortable to wear all day at work. Not a bad balance of comfort and style, although I wish the heels weren’t black and rubbery, but maybe wooden. It’s hard to find cute, stylish boots that don’t look sort of athletic. I realize I’m very picky. I want femme cuteness as well as lots of comfort and it’s almost impossible to find. These were pretty close to that balance.

I've been disappointed with Clarks for the last several years, but these seem like a return to form--good quality leather. If they were waterproof, they would be perfect. I wear 8.5-9 in most shoes, but the 9 was far too big. I'll be trying an 8.5 as soon as it's back in stock (and I almost feel like I could take an 8, but with thick socks I think 8.5 will be it). I also appreciate that the wide is an actual wide where it counts--at the toe base! The strap does adjust, which I think will make up for the large opening. These are stylish and will look nice with pants or skirts.

I can wear these all day! Love them! I ordered the wide which I have never done before. I’m so glad that I did.

Omigosh these were SO comfortable. I ultimately did not keep them because I wanted something less clunky, but these are gorgeous shoes/boots. I am going to regret returning them. They are stylish, but also timeless. I could have walked for days in them. Love the contrast of the black sole against the buttery, warm brown leather. As you can see in the picture, the leather is subject to wear, so these are not going to look pristine, but lovely worn in.

Cute booties! However, I ordered them in two sizes and on both pair the left shoe was at least about a half size larger than the right shoe. Inside they were marked the same size?!?

I got an 8.5 W. For tennis shoes, I usually wear a 9 normal, but I find that for dress shoes for Clarks, half a size smaller and wider works great. The shoe is super comfortable. Not particularly warm for winter though. The boot leg part is slightly adjustable with the buckle. It's pretty loose on me. The oily leather look isn't my favorite. It makes the boot look like it's made of rubber. It also gets dirty pretty quickly and just looks like smudged fingerprints and dirty. I've attached a picture of what the boot looks like after only two days of wearing it. Looks like I need to wipe it down every day.

Get these in a full size smaller than you usually wear. I ordered these in wide width and that worked for me, which was a surprise as I have a hard time getting shoes wide enough. I'm sure these would be great for someone else but for me it felt like the arch in these was a half inch off from where I needed it to be, so they'll be going back. Otherwise seems like a cute, well constructed boot.

The fit was perfect, for a boot, which means there was room to wear a light sock. The “oily leather” however looked like plastic, and the soft rubber heel made them too casual for work. Also, the height is exactly at the ankle. I think a little higher shaft is more comfortable because each step hits my ankle bone!

Love these boots. They are a beautiful rich brown. They are not as well- cushioned or supported as some but I can wear them all day long without achy feet.

These boots are so comfortable once I found the correct size. I usually wear a 6W or 6.5W/M. I ordered these in 6W and they were HUGE. Sized down to a 5.5M and the fit was great with a thick wool sock. The first wear required no breaking in and they’ve been incredibly comfortable ever since.

Saw a model wearing these in the Pendleton catalog, found them here on the Zap. People review these as a little large, but, you wear them with thick winter socks, so they're perfect. So comfortable you can wear them for hours. A step up from what I had been wearing, but, not so fancy you save them in the box. Such a happy customer. Yay!

Love these boots! Very comfortable. Could walk all day with them on. They run about 1/2 size smaller than stated size. I normally wear a size 6 which I had to return for a size 5.5 which fit perfectly. Thanks Clarks for making half sizes!

I usually wear a size 6 but that was too large. The size 5.5 is perfect. Extremely comfortable boot. Being only 5 feet tall I need a tall heel but rarely are they comfortable. Could walk around in these boots all day! Simple style but classy!

These are some of the most comfortable and roomy boots I have ever tried on. This is the first time I've put my feet in Clarks, and I'm impressed. I wear a 7W, and these were easy to get on and generous with room in the toe box. I just didn't quite like the look of them once they were on my feet. Also I'm not a huge fan of fake buckles for decoration, but that is a personal preference. Really can't wait to order more from this brand as I have a ridiculously wide foot and finding a truly comfortable shoe feels downright impossible, but Clarks got the fit RIGHT! Ive never returned a pair of shoes so happily before, because even though they are going back, I at least found a brand that actually fits my foot with no compromises.

Design was pretty. I really liked the wide toe box. The uppers had the loose fit I've been looking for, and I would have bought these boots... except that the heel turned out to be about an inch too high for me. The suede had a few streaks and scuffs (see photos). Could have lived with that, maybe buffed them out, but the heel height was a deal breaker that made me return the shoes.

I ordered my usual 8 wide and the boots were too long. Width was fine! LOVED the color and might get the black, too!

These boots fit me, but I could tell that the front around the ankle was going to be uncomfortable so I'm returning them.

PLUSSES: This is a well-made shoe, fashionable and versatile. Overall, it was very comfortable. I was also fond of the block heel, which was slightly higher than similar styles. I typically wear a 6.5W or 7W (even in Clarks), depending on the shape of the shoe. MINUSES: Although there is an adjustable buckle at the ankle to customize the fit, it was my opinion that even on the tightest setting, it was too wide in the heel, and my heel moved too much for my personal fit/taste, however the foot bed and toe were quite comfortable. The leather is very "matte," and as such, it was my opinion that any small "ding" to the leather might be very apparent, so the "matte" (or flat, as opposed to a slight sheen) appearance was a secondary factor, and I chose to return the boot. I instead kept the Rockport waterproof boot

I normally wear 8.5 so that is what I ordered based on the reviews. Unfortunately they were too big and I had to send them back. Cute boots though.

These are very comfortable boots. They are roomy so i would suggest you order a size down. i always have difficulty finding the right pair of shoes for comfort, and these are winners.
