I have a very hard to fit, wide, high arched foot with plantar fascitis issues. On my right foot I had to have a bone spur removed from the back of my heel where they cut and re attached my Achilles tendon. Ouch! I have watched everyone I know roll out their cute boots, booties, and shooties for fall and despaired of ever finding a boot soft enough, long enough, and wide enough to fit my aching feet. To top it all off, I work in a 3 story furniture store with no elevators and frequently walk up and down stairs and a few miles in a day. I ordered Clarks Un Damson Mid in an 11W because they were just what I was looking for; black, a little higher shaft, and not too high of a heel. Hesitant at first, I wore them to work for the first time (carrying my shoes along with me in case I couldn't deal with the pain) only to find they were great from the moment I put them on. I walked all day in them, ran to a store on the way home and then hit a restaurant with my husband for dinner. I was amazed how soft the leather felt and they did not irritate my scarred heel at all. Maybe could have used a teensy bit more arch support but I can always add some arch supports myself. Not really a problem, just something I watch very carefully. I ordered a couple of other boots along with this pair which were ok but these are the keepers. I love Zappos shipping and return policies and while shopping, I use the filters to eliminate hundreds of pairs of shoes that don't come in my size or width. Something you cannot do in big shoe warehouses. Kudos to Zappos, my favorite shoe store!

These boots run about half a size too small. I have ordered an additional pair in bigger size, hoping they will fit just as well. I appreciate the top of the boot goes above my ankles, I really dislike the ankle height styles. The boots look good and the material seems to be of good quality. Not sure how they would hold up in snow and winter conditions. The heel is just right, and makes the boots appropriate to wear with a skirt or dress too.

These are too small, you should order a half size bigger.

I agree these were quite narrow for a medium width but they were perfect for me. I have narrow feet, high arches and prone to plantar fasciitis. Once I added a pair of 3/4 Powerstep insoles then these shoes for great including arch support. Additionally they are stylish and fun to wear!

Dressier than a lot of booties due to the higher shaft, thin strap and more delicate buckle. A lot if size 6.5W booties were too wide for me, I think these are more of a C width than D.

Love the look of the shoe. I normally am a size 5.5M. The 5.5 was too small. I ordered the size 6 and they were too tight. I may be a wide in this shoe. Odd since Zappos had recommended size at 5.5. Will be returning the 6 also.

Good leather boot with the right size heal for me. Wide is perfect, not too wide. Covers my bunyon and no pain. I do like bells and whistles but these are just smart looking.

I rated these as Narrower Than Marked because they were more tight than D width usually is on me. (I think that the manufacturer's width scale is inaccurate, as D follows B in their list of sizes. Apparently D is the new C!) They also are 1/2 size shorter than others. I like the higher top to the bootie. (I wear them with thin knee socks, so the front doesn't rub my shin.) Unlike the ankle-grazing styles I tried, the higher top provides a smoother line when pants legs are untucked and leggins stay tucked in when moving. I also like the sculpted toe and the strap around the ankle area. Gives them the slightly edgy look I want. Solid chunky heel makes them comfortable to walk in. Because the thin inner cushion is glued in, to add the extra comfort I need I ordered a full size larger than my usual and inserted SpencoRX full arch cushions. Now they're even more comfortable for walking! Looking forward to enjoying them this winter.

Height of these is perfect for me. Worn with pants out over the tops of the boots, line stays smooth while walking. When wearing leggins, they stayed nicely tucked in. (Did not find either of these benefits to be the case with shorter ankle-skimmers I ordered and shipped back.). The nonremovable cushion Clarks put into these was adequate but not enough for my needs, so I added a set of SpencoRX Full Arch Cushions, which required changing to a half-size larger shoe. I wish Clarks would make boots in an extra-wide width. That would have been better for me. The widest after B is stated as D but fit like a C.

These are a dream to be on your feet all day in. They look dressy or great with jeans. Love.

Super comfortable boots. The only downside is that they run a bit narrow. I ordered a wide and they are still snug in the toes.

I liked the style and the leather but was disappointed when my left foot came in contact with the narrow toes’ space. There was no way I could fit my right foot into the boot at all, so I returned them.

The bootie is very cute and fun. Unfortunately I did not listen to the comments and went by the recommended size, my usual in this brand. It was a 1/2 size too small. I ordered another shoe in the same brand with the recommend size and it fit. I have ordered 1 half size up. fingers crossed that they fit.

Agree with other reviewers that this boot runs about a half-size small. But super cute! Next size up for me is out of stock but I hope it refills soon.

Comfortable as you would expect from Clarks. Only problem is shaft of boot extends well past ankle to calf and rubs my leg with each step. Also looks awkward with skinny jeans because it rises so tall. Might look ok with skirts or dresses, but not what I wanted.

These shoes are stylish and comfortable. I love them and wear them nearly every day to a job that requires me to walk for a good part of the day.

Based on other reviews I ordered my regular size and one half-size up. I was surprised my regular size fit perfectly! They are very comfortable, perfect for work. They are pretty basic looking, the leather is not the highest quality but about what I’d expect for the price.

These boots were at least a size too small. By the time I got them, there were none in the next size, so hard to tell.

These boots fit me, but there was a lot of extra boot around the ankle area. Weird fit, and didn't like the way that looked so returned them.

I've always worn a size 9 in Clark's and I could barely put this one on. It was at least a size to small. Bought it on sale and with a coupon for almost 50%. Big surprise that neither of those are available on the next size up.

Way too narrow and not at all true to size. Will be returning.
