Clarks are supposed to be comfortable, but these rubbed bad blisters on either side of my high ankle where the top of the boot hits. Poor design. It had zero give (and I have skinny ankles!) I tried on a zillion pair of boots and settled on these, and the first time I wore them out, I came home with terrible raw spots. Skip these, sadly.

Really cute but the heal is too high for me to wear all day.

Nobody could have convinced me that I would ever purchase Clarks-brand shoes as a 32-yr-old woman but these booties are exactly what I was looking for... a sleek, not-too-high, simple, classic, black leather bootie. Plus, they’re so comfortable!! They can be dressed up or down, with pants, skirts, or dresses...can’t say enough good things about these. I’m a 10 in most shoes and ordered a 10 in these as well. Highly recommend!

I've only worn these shoes once, and I can tell they're going to take awhile to break in—they are stiff around the ankle—but I love the look.

These were beautiful boots, and beautifully made. The leather looked high-quality and the boot's profile from above and the side looked great. But, they just weren't that comfortable for me. I've never had a pair of clarks shoes without padding; this felt totally paddless on the toe bed. It was also a little tight across the front of my ankle, which may have loosened over time but just proved it not to be the kind of "slip on, where everwhere" boot i'm looking for.
