I have been looking for a boot that comes in wide to accomodate a bunion. I got these in the widest size (EE) and they fit perfectly. I'm on my feet all day and have tried wearing every other shoe I own, but they all caused too much pain in my foot. I tried these on the minute they arrived and for the first time knew I had found the right shoe. I ordered the 10's and they felt a little big but it may just be the extra width. I've worn these to work every day since receiving them and my feet don't hurt at all. My only concern is that I live in Minnesota and am not sure they will work in the snow. The last thing I want to mention is that in my experience, extra wide shoes have always made me look like I had duck feet. These boots look narrow despite being EE's. I strongly recommend these boots, especially if you have trouble finding shoes because you have wide feet or a bunion.

The size estimator got it wrong: I ordered a 6-1/2, which is a size I often wear, and my feet were swimming in them. But the size 6 was perfect. When I pulled the boots out of the box, I was afraid they'd be too narrow--I have very wide feet--but the double-wide was quite comfortable; I even had room for relatively heavy socks, which is an important consideration for a hiking boot. I will say, if you have very high arches, as I do, you'll probably need to supplement the arch support, but I'm guessing that for most people, these will be fine. They're attractive too--but don't expect them to hold up to heavy hiking; the leather probably is too delicate for that (though a waterproofing spray will probably help). But it's so hard for me to find any kind of hiking-type boot that fits my short, wide feet, I'm just thrilled to bits with these.

I have feet trouble. Numb feet and wide. I’m an art director so I need to look fashionable. What to do? Most boots in this style were difficult to get my foot into with an orthotic insert. I called Zappos for personal help. The man was so helpful, said they don’t usually do that but proceeded to give me style after style to look at. I found these and ordered in D and EE. I had never worn an EE but wanted to be sure. The D fit me perfectly with an orthotic. They don’t make my feet look overly big and now I’ve found a brand that I will order other shoes from! Thank you Zappos for letting me try on so many styles for little cost!

It's getting harder and harder to find wide--I mean wi-i-i-i-ide--shoes, but these do it. New to Propet, I got 7.5 EE, half to a full size smaller than I do with regular to slightly wide shoes, and I might have gone down to even a 7 if that hadn't meant losing a smidge of width that I wasn't willing to give up. The toe is a nice, high, fat round toe, so there's actually toe-wiggle room. I added high-arch orthotics on top of the existing insole; seems quite comfy and, amazingly, there's still plenty of room, but if it's too much, can just remove the Propet insole, which has only moderate arch support. I wish these had a zipper as well so that I could leave them laced exactly right, but I can live with tightening and retying each time. They're a bit clunky, but (with a couple of coats of waterproofing--which the black suede took well--and warm socks) should be great in snow. Above all, they are extremely comfortable. It's such a pleasure not to have to convince myself that a pair of shoes is wide enough when they're really not. Yay Propet!

I love Propet shoes! These boots are comfortable and stylish. I have gotten compliments on them. They appear to have some water resistance too as I wore them walking in snow with no problems. Also, the insole is removable so I can add orthotics, though insole it comes with is comfortable, but with only moderate arch support.

love them. so cute and will be great for summer hiking.

Of the four pair of Propet cold-weather boots I ordered, this was the most comfortable. I have high arches and a tricky ankle and this boot had excellent support in both places. The styling and grippy sole look similar to a work boot, but the profile is slender, even in size 11 W. It's a nice boot to wear in winter with cords or jeans.

Ordered the Olive in a 7.5WW. They’re comfortable and I am extremely impressed with the width. Unfortunately my ankles are a lot smaller in comparison to the width of my foot so they feel a bit awkward when laced up all the way. I will be returning these but would recommend for anyone with wide feet / bunions.

FINALLY a boot I can wear at the ranch! I have been looking for a wide width boot that would hold up to the wear and tear of ranch life and I finally found it! LOVE THIS BOOT! Wide enough to accommodate my bunions and good arch support for my very high arches! Am going to order in other colors! Falling in love with PROPET brand more and more!

My daughter has bunions so it is very difficult to find shoes for her. We bought her a 2X in these boots in her regular size and they are perfectly comfortable for her. Anyone looking for a sneaker try puma, she just went 1/2 size up. They have a round toe box and are made of leather so they stretch and she also finds these really comfortable.

These are so sexy and cute! I feel like a badass but also they are sensible for most environments. I got double wide (usually just need W but i saw other reviews and went with EE) at a size 10 and they fit great but there is a lot of space at the toe. But other than that they are really comfy and stylish

These run quite long. My first pair (olive) was an 11WW. They are too big but with big socks, they’re doable. I liked the style so well, my next pair (black-love!) I ordered a 10WW. They fit good. Almost could wear a 9 1/2. Hmmm. Good quality and very comfortable.

I love these shoes! I have a lot of trouble with one foot and some times ankle - can't believe how happy my feet are! Truly so surprised and glad I got these. Very comfortable- leather is soft enough so no breaking in period needed. No heavy pile lining so perfect for "winter" here in the far south.

Very cute boots! I usually wear a 5 and 1/2 but based on reviews I ordered a 6, which fits great. Also I wanted to be sure I could wear thick socks. Happy with my purchase.

I wear 7.5 WW and have a high arch. I also have really sensitive feet that swell as the day goes on. I am an office worker in a large manufacturing facility. I put a lot of miles on my shoes in a year. I needed a shoe that met our footwear requirements and looked cute with skirts because its how I like to dress. These boots have been amazing. I did put in my own orthotics to get the right amount of cushioning. I usually have to have the toe box stretched. These shoes were roomy right out of the box. I bought both the black and the brown. The soles have held up really well. I think I will close to a year of use out of them before I wear the sole down. The uppers are in great shape. I also live in a moderate, wet climate. These shoes held up great in cold, wet weather. I have already purchased another pair of the brown ones when they went on sale. Just put in a request to be notified when black ones are back in stock in my size. I like these shoes that much.

I think this is a beautiful boot! That being said, the toe box felt tighter than a typical Propet boot. The foot bed/insole is removable, so I tried on the boot and walked around both with the Propet insole and my own orthotic and in each case, I still felt the boot was too narrow across my toe joints...can't think of what that part of the foot is called-lol! You know....where bunions usually form. That is where it felt too narrow. Such a shame I have to return this one.

Very cute boot. I thought these would work for me, style and width. The boot is not a casual look. The width was too narrow for my duck like feet. I will keep search for an ankle boot. Thank you Zappos for being who who are!! AWESOME!!!

While I haven’t worn these on a walk yet, they definitely provide the width I need as I have a substantial bunion. They are cute!

Ok... I know I have wide feet.... ugh... I LOVED these boots... and I REALLY want to keep them... but I'm afraid they are a tad too tight with thicker socks (during the winter... when we go sledding)... As much as I want to keep them, I think i'll exchange them for a different shoe...

Cute style, which is difficult to find in a XX width. Comfortable, too. They do run a bit longer than marked though.

I needed a removable insole and wide width to accommodate an orthotic and swollen feet/ankles. These boots worked for both. The suede material provides light structure. OK for snow, not for hiking.

I ordered a 9, thinking thick socks would take up any extra space. They were much too long.

I usually wear 4E width shoes, but noticed some people said these were very wide so I wanted to try them out. Unfortunately, the maximum width is not that wide so I am going to try other boots.

What happened, Propet? I expected the usual rounded toe box, and was surprised to find these boots were almost pointy in the toe. My foot is wide at the toe and in the middle, so I appreciate brands that keep it real. I was also very disappointed in the exterior finish of these boots - they looked dirty and marred right out of the box. Even if they did fit, I wouldn't have kept them just because of the finish. They just looked dirty. Pretty bummed out because every other boot I've found like this (with a round toe box) is sold out in my size (11w). I'll keep looking!

I have a wide size 11 foot and high arch, and use orthotics, so my feet are hard to fit. These 11WW shoes worked well in the forefoot width, but the heel fits more like a men’s shoe, much too large for me. The tie box is nice and roomy, which I like, but overall the shoe just fit too large and felt sloppy. It’s about 1/2 size too long as well. The appearance is just OK. I didn’t like the profile of the shoe from above tho it’s fine from the side view.
