I loved this shoe. I bought it to wear inside as a slipper-type shoe. Unfortunately the wool was incredibly scratchy. Unless I was wearing full socks there was no way I could comfortably slip these on. I guess I should have assumed that, but the wool was much more coarse than I'd anticipated.

Wanted a slip on with arch support for around the house and outdoors for errands, etc. The arch support is definitely there and highly recommend them in this regard. But, they really do look like indoor slippers and, as others have said, the wool is scratchy and you do need to wear socks with them. They feel loose in the width without the socks, good fit with thin socks. I think the combination of socks and the wool kind of “Velcro” so feet stay in place. Sending them back as they did not work for my purpose, but very nice otherwise if I just wanted them for indoors.

I've worn these for 2 months. I have bone spurs in both heels and plantar fasciitis. The soles and inserts are crazy comfortable. My feet don't hurt at all when I wear them which is saying a lot. HOWEVER the wool uppers stretch and my foot flops around inside the slipper. I have to grip with my toes to keep them on my foot and if I turn to the side my foot will turn almost sideways in the slipper and they've caused me to almost fall several times. Such a shame they weren't structured better.

Absolutely amazing slippers. I keep wanting to wear them when I leave the house, forgetting they are not outdoor shoes. The arch support is perfect, slight wedge heel maximizes comfort. The wool was fine on my bare feet. They do fit slightly better with socks on. The style is rather masculine. Overall, such excellent footwear that I will probably buy a second pair right away so that when these wear out I will still have some. Styles change so often.

The foot bed was so slick I couldn't tell if I ordered the correct size. I wear Taos sandals but these did not seem as comfortable. Cute style, more so than a Birkenstock. Also has a much softer and less stiff/rigid foot bed than a Birkenstock. If you need an exaggerated foot arch this is your shoe.

I bought these for slippers. I do not find them scratchy, like some reviewers, although I will admit they are not as soft as Uggs. They do give me the support I need, since I have arthritis in my foot, and flat slippers/shoes are no longer an option for me. These give me almost the same support as my TAOS sandals I bought a few months ago. I highly recommend, especially if you have foot issues. Btw I have slightly wider than normal feet, and the normal width is fine.

Love, love, love these. I use them as slippers/house shoes, and they are awesome. Comfortable, warm, with solid support. Fit is perfect. I wear an 11 1/2 and got the 42.

Arch was too far forward for my foot. Heel was a bit narrow. Beautiful shoe; bad fit for my foot.

My feet are not completely flat but without a high arch and these slippers are meant for someone with one. My back hurt just trying them on and walking around the house. It's too bad - they're very well made and attractive - plus they really were to big. Perfect for someone with a high arch - should have remembered Taos sandals are the same way. Thanks Zappos .

The shoe is attractive and might work for someone who wants a stiffer wool shoe. It would need some break-in time, ideally be perhaps a half size smaller, and/or thick socks to fit right. One of the troubling issues of ordering online, instead of trying different sizes at a physical store. I hate having to find order info online, print out return labels, etc. and take to an elusive UPS or FedEx site in our rural location. PLEASE put return labels in the box, as used to be the custom, and let USPS be an alternate return shipper.

I love these clogs. They are super cute and comfy. I wasn’t quite sure about the right size for me as I have a neuroma on my left foot which becomes painful if my shoes are a little snug. These clogs seem to have a wider fit and don’t squeeze my feet, making them really comfortable to wear. I ordered my usual size instead of going up a size which I often do because of the neuroma.

I am a fan of Taos sneakers, so I was excited to try these clogs. They do not disappoint. I have plantar fasciitis and the arch support in these are perfect. The wool is not itchy and they are warm, but do not make my foot sweat. They are not heavy to wear. Perfect indoor slipper or outdoor shoe for cooler weather. I wear size 8.5 in sneakers. I ordered these in size 39 (8-8.5) and they fit perfectly.

I have been searching for a pair of slippers and these are wonder for hardwood floors. Great arch support Supportive but not stiff. I am a hard fit, and these are great. True to size.

Really cute and super comfy. Needed clog type shoe for easy on and off when getting ready to go skiing. Simple to wear and slide off to put ski boots on. Very warm wool, love them!

I really really wanted these shoes to work. They are super cute and the arch support is excellent. However, my feet felt a tad unstable in them and after walking around my living room for a few min, my ankle started to hurt. Sadly, these shoes go back.

I love the style and they’re exceptionally comfortable. I hate to pay this kind of money, especially for house shoes, but I do wear them most of most days.

These are the first clogs I have not needed to return immediately because they were pushing into my arches (I have high arches). I struggled at first with the elevated heel but found that the cork and the comfort helped me adjust quickly. I am very impressed with these shoes and have discovered a new brand of shoe that I will be trying for more purchases.

This is my second pair. As I am at home way more than usual my old slippers were killing my feet due to lack of arch support. These are perfect. I'm not usually a fan of the clog style due to slipping but these fit so perfectly that I never slip in them. The soles are hard but that does not bother me. Love most Taos footwear.

I love these! They have enough structure yet comfortable for hanging around the house. A tad larger than I thought but it's cold here and a pair of socks makes the fit perfect!

Love these cozy shoes! I got them to wear as house shoes, and the soles are a little hard for that purpose, but I still wear them every day!

I like these slippers, for a clog the weight of them was good. However, the only reason I returned is that they were too tight along the top of my instep.

This is a very nice sturdy yet comfortable slipper. Wonderful arch support, rubber soles which are great on my hardwood floors and stairs. And nice and warm! Love them.
