Dear Birkenstock, more styles with these chunky soles, please!!!! I have 3 pairs of these flat forms. They look more contemporary, go with everything and are extra comfy. The taupe suede looks very flattering on bronze skin.

The shoe is super cute on and goes with a lot of outfit options but these hurt my feet! I have other Birks and I wore these out for the first time today and my feet were in pain. The width is too narrow and the footbed is hard and because of the chunky bottom, they are slightly hard to walk in. Also under the strap, the buckle is secured by metal staples by design (pictures attached). This is a terrible idea! I only walked for about 10 min in these, and the metal staples cut the skin on the top of my foot. These are very cute but they are extremely uncomfortable and not worth the pain

I seem to be in the minority here, but I really like these. I live in NYC so maybe it's that I love that they lift me ever-so-slightly further off the disgusting city sidewalk, lol. If the black option was all black (instead of black/white combo)? I'd order those, too, in a heartbeat.

Too bad these only come in narrow. The birkenstock regular width works better every time. They're going back.

I absolutely love the Birkenstock Arizona Chunky by Papillio. They are extremely comfortable. The chunky base bends with each step. It is more flexible and lighter than the traditional platform from Birkenstock/Papillio. It feels more cushioned than the traditional platform of which I own several. There was no break-in time with this Arizona, but I have been wearing Birkenstocks since 1992. I enjoy Birkenstock platform sandals. This particular style is comfortable and stylish. I will be buying more options in this style.

I saw these on your website and immediately fell in love with the look of the sandal! I wear a 7.5 in most shoes and ordered these in Taupe in a size 38 and the fit is perfect. For me, these were not wearable right out of the box. The foot bed is hard and I mean HARD! I even thought about returning them but the shoes are "cuteness overload" and that won out. If only they came in a soft foot bed! I am wearing them a few hours at a time and they are beginning to feel much better. For the powers that be, please consider making these in a soft foot bed! Must admit, I am pondering going back and ordering the black TOO!

Birkenstocks are pretty much the only type of shoe I will wear, I am online now buying my second pair! The platform does not change the level of comfort, these feel just like my traditional Birkenstocks.

If these were made with the soft footbed I would’ve kept them happily. Pls make them w/ the soft footbed!

Finally succeeded in getting some sandals from Birkenstock (along with their truly superior arch supports) that I can keep on my feet. Birkenstock Narrows are actually B/C in American sizes; my feet are 9 1/2 AA; these are 39 in Birki's so-called Narrow. I love Birkenstocks because of their footbeds, but generally have to try quite a few pairs until I can find some that are comfortable and narrow enough. In some styles, I never do succeed. These sandals are clodhoppers for sure, but they are very comfortable and don't slide off my feet. Won't be returning them. Win/win!

This new Papillio Chunky Arizona label seems manufactured differently from regular Birkenstocks, made in Portugal, not Germany for one thing. But the divider point between big toe and second toe is my biggest complaint. It's made too close to the edge, giving the toe about a half inch of space as if it were a tiny slender toe, so your big toe ends up stepping on the point -- not comfortable, and really bad design. Also the right shoe strap was longer, so I had to pull the strap all the way out so it flops around with extra fabric. They squeak when you walk. They feel like a brick is tied to your foot. Just not a good design or comfort for these Chunky shoes. I love the style though, but not for $130 plus tax. If these ever went on sale below $95, I'd buy them for errands around town, and just deal with the issues.

My feet love these shoes! Yes, the buckle is on the 4th hole, but it doesn’t make them look ugly.

Love the look, got the pink which is a nice soft color and feel. I wondered if the chunky sole would look too weird for me, but I think it looks great! The fit is as expected, no surprises there (I have a lot of Birks). Very happy with this purchase.

Shoes are pretty, but the leather was very stiff. I own many birks and this one does not have the suede foot bed that molds to your feet.

Sole too stiff for comfortable walking.

They look so cool. Wanted so badly to love them. But they HURT. Actual agony trying to wear them. Gotta return them.

I love these. They’re not heavy at all. Feel like slippers. I have wide foot flat slight arch. Had to break in but overall I absolutely love these should have got them in black. Wear a size 11 foot measures 10.5 inches

I normally wear a size 39 in Birkenstocks, but these seemed to be a half size smaller. I kept them, but the arch feels a little off on my foot when compared to my other Birkenstock sandals. I love the bold pink color and think they add to any outfit!

These shoes are amazing! I walked 15,000-20,000 steps a day for a week during a heat wave in Spain and my feet felt terrific. I recommend these shoes for style and comfort.

Love these platform sandals. Had to place moleskin under the buckle as there was metal was digging into my skin. Now they are perfect.

Absolutely love the way these look! And they are just as comfy as my regular Birkenstock Arizona sandals. Will be wearing these everywhere!
