This is my first pair of Birkenstocks. OMG why have I waited so long?! I had been rolling my eyes at people wearing them ... unknowingly missing on incredible arch support. The second I put them on, i felt my knees, legs and back straightening up. I am not kidding. They forced me (gently, not painfully) to stand up straight. I've been wearing them non stop for 1.5 weeks, from the moment I got them :) Ordered the amazing dark deep red color and it's gorgeous. They did stain my feet for the first couple of days, but then that was it. No more dye transfer on skin. I wear a 8.5 regular and i ordered these in 39 narrow. Narrow is not narrow. Narrow is wide. But you that is why you have adjustable buckles. I can't imagine how wide wide actually is :) I have been obsessed with finding another pair of equal comfort and style (yes, style, i said it, i think they look awesome, silly me for looking down on them for so many years!). I tried a pair of Buckley's and they didn't feel as solid as these Arizona ones. I returned those and my quest continues.

I purchased the Zinfandel narrow in a 37. I normally wear a 7-7.5 shoe depending on the manufacturer. I love this pair of Birkenstocks. They fit my foot like they were custom made and look great. The burgandy leather is of a very nice quality. The soft insole is very comfortable and the heel cup seems to set my foot at an angle that feels comfortable to my knees. I have issues with my knees and these shoes seem to help. I can walk with much less discomfort when I am wearing these sandals. This is my second pair of Birkenstocks in the past few weeks. I am very happy with both of my purchases from Zappos.

These are my first pair of Birks. After foot surgery a few months ago, my doctor said no more shoes with thingys in between your toes so after reading the reviews, I thought I’d try these. They arrived earlier than expected which was pretty great. Very risky I know, but I was in a hurry so I put them on right out of the box and wore them straight to the airport and then to vacation at the shore. I was grateful to find they were so comfortable, and it took only a short while to break them in. The leather is soft, arch support is fantastic, plus I received several compliments too...the rich color matched my fresh pedi just right:) I wear a size 8 in almost every brand of shoe, so I ordered size 39 which fits me perfectly! What’s not to love?!

I am addicted to Birkenstocks. I have multiple pairs of the gizeh style but only this color which looks fantastic and a black pair in the Arizona. I have zero complaints. While my black is a soft footbed it is regular width. This sandal only comes in narrow and reviewers were concerned with this but when I got them they fit just as well as my others, I would think your foot would have to be exceptionally wide for it to be a problem. The only problem for me is that these sandals come in too many colors that I would like to buy.

The zinfandel color is beautiful and the leather is like butter but I'm not a fan of the soft footbed. I hesitantly returned them I'm hopes that Birkenstock makes this in their regular footbed.

Love, love, love this gorgeous color. I an enjoying the soft footbed as well. It's not too squishy soft, just a bit more cushion than regular. This is my first pair with the oiled leather, tho.

Great size and fit! Did not need to be broken in, either! Love the unique color and the quality of the leather. You can’t beat the cushion of the soft footbed, either!

I wear a 7-7.5 and the 38’s were perfect as always with the narrow fit.

I really enjoy the soft footbed Arizonas and was waiting for the Zinfandel color to be back in stock in my size. The color is wonderful . Highly recommend.

I’ve owned lots of Birkenstocks. In the 90s I had both the London and Paris style as a student at San Francisco State. Perfect for that climate and exceedingly comfortable and durable for lots of city walking. Upon moving to Chico, California where it gets really hot, I started buying the Gizeh style, and have had several pair. I also had one Arizona that was white and red rubber with hibiscuses on them (not like the current EVA Birks, I have a pair of those as well, also Gizeh). So all of theses Birkenstocks have been crazy comfortable, right out of the box. Not a single issue. Could walk for miles in them. I saw these Sangria Red Arizonas and thought they were beautiful in the picture, and most of the reviews below give very high marks. So I took the plunge and ordered a pair. When they arrived, and I opened the box, I was confused because they looked matte black. I took them out of the box and could see the interior of the leather straps are indeed red. I compared them to the pics of the sandals online. I could see that the pics online were actually quite dark as well, but I had it in my mind that they were red, and one of the reviewers posted a picture of hers that look red. I put them on, adjusted a buckle and a small scratch appeared. It was red. So I believe that as these sandals age, they will get redder. So now my review of actually wearing these. The leather is like cardboard! They are really hurting the tops of my feet. As for the soft footbed, I don’t really notice, it seems like a Birkenstock footbed. They are supportive like all my other Birks, but I’ve got raw spots on the tops of my toes, and my insteps feel bruised. I am a sucker because I like the way they look, and I can tell they will distress to a gorgeous wine red as they age. I’m hoping the leather will soften to the point that they are as comfortable as my prior pairs. I’ve worn them for two days, about an hour the first, and four the second. I want to mention that I generally walk 4 to 7 miles a day, so I don’t have tender feet. I’m going to have to wear them a little bit each day, and also wear them with socks to break them in. What a sucker for fashion I am. If they were a hideous color I probably would have returned them! But that lovely wine red I can see in the future of these makes me want to tough it out. These Sandals are very classy and rich in color, material as well as comfort. I like my open toe shoes to be longer than my actual feet. I’m a true size 10 but I sized up to the 11. The adjustable strap still is designed to give great style without looking sloppy. The Burgundy color will only get better with wear and the quality of the Leather is well worth the cost. Buckles are are nice metal. They are comfortable yet very stylish.

I had surgery on my right foot, second toe. The Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Surgeon’s recommendation after I graduated from the surgical shoe, was to try a pair of Birkenstock’s as I continue healing and receive physical therapy. I wear a 10-10.5 Med and found this style to be a perfect fit. The footbed has a soft feel, is supportive and comfortable right out of the box. The buckles are light weight and adjustable for the width that you need. The brushed burgundy color is exactly as pictured. I wear them with patterned cotton socks with my scrubs (work) & with jeans. I will eventually have the same surgery on my left foot and I’ll be ready with these Birkenstock’s after that procedure.

I love these Color is gorgeous

I wasn’t sure I was going to like these shoes. I have ‘foot issues’. Some neuropathy on the top of my right foot, bunions and discomfort on the bottom of my left foot. Soft comfy sneakers work best for me, but I was looking for a comfortable sandal I could slip on and off easily. We’ll, these Birkenstock’s exceeded my wildest expectation. The soft footbed is deluxe and the strap over the top of my foot is comfortable to wear. Honestly, I love these shoes. The wine color is pretty neutral and goes well with lots of different colored slacks. I’m not sold, these are the most stylish shoes, but I am convinced, they are the most comfortable. ?

My favorite shoe for comfort and support. I love this cool color as it goes with everything. The soft footbed mold to your feet and the oiled leather took barely no time to break in. I never owned a pair of Birkenstocks before and I'm still not a fan of how they look but since diagnosed with planter fascitis, I was told these would really help with the pain and they have! For women with narrow feet, I would recommend only purchasing the women's Birkenstocks in narrow instead of the unisex in narrow as the women's are even more narrow and a better fit for me.

I'm still adjusting to the soft footbed, but no complaints. Comfortable and supportive. I didn't notice a big difference in the narrow width. They fit just like my other birks. The color is awesome!!! Goes with everything and cute for fall.

Size 39 was perfect for my narrow 8.5 feet. These are adorable in the Zinfandel. Love them!

Don’t hesitate like I did to buy these! I was worried about them being too narrow but I’ve had them buckled on the next to last hole since I took them out of the box. It’s November in New England and still have to talk myself out of slipping them on!!

I love my Birkenstocks! They fit true to size and provide the right amount of support and comfort. The Zinfandel color is gorgeous and I’ve gotten so many compliments on how nice they look.

Might be my favorite Birks yet! Love the soft footbed, and the color is absolutely gorgeous in person! Highly recommend!

Birkenstock Arizona (SFB) wonderful sandal. This is my second pair of the Birkenstock soft bed. I wore my last sandal (Mayari) completely out they were the black patent leather. My last pair lasted 4 years. I never could wear the regular bed it was too painful. The soft bed is very comfortable. I am an 8.5 medium in a regular shoe, I buy the 39 narrow and it fits my foot like they were made specifically for me. I would recommend this sandal. The zinfandel color with the copper buckle is pretty. I like that when it is cold I can just put on a pair of socks with them. With the Mayari I couldn't do that so I only wore them in the summer.

Great fit! This is my 2nd pair of Arizona in red. I was thrilled to find the color was still available.

I ordered these because of the colour which is very nice although a lot darker than the photo suggests. But still beautiful and a colour I had not seen before in Birkenstock. I am a true to size 8 or 39 and these fit perfectly. I was worried that they were a narrow width as I do not have narrow feet but when I read the description it suggested narrow width is for narrow or regular feet so I wanted to try it. So glad that I did as the size is perfect and fits nicer than my regular width Birks. I would definitely order these again and in fact am contemplating getting another pair as a spare.

Bought these for my daughter for Mother’s Day. They are perfect.
