When I first looked at these, I thought they might be stiff and less comfortable than I've grown to expect from Merrell, but as soon as I slipped them on (which is way easy thanks to the front and back finger grips), I was amazed at how comfortable they were. Cold weather hasn't really set in yet where I live, but as soon as it does, I'm ready!! I can hardly wait!

I purchased size 10.5 and they fit true to size. Easy to get on and off, very comfortable to wear.

Merrell is my favorite brand shoes. I have several styles. This boot was another excellent choice. It is comfortable, true to size, and is stylish. I wear them slot with jeans and khakis. You can't go wrong with this boot.

I live in Colorado and I hike almost every day. Most days only 2 or 3 miles, but I do get out almost every day. I've only had these boots a few weeks, but I already love them. They have more support then the previous boots I have been wearing. They have kept my feet very warm and dry during the early winter weather we've had, and are so comfortable that I end up wearing them all day. I am not on my feet too much during the day. I spend my working hours behind a desk or in my car, but these boots have been great. They provide a lot of support and warmth without a lot of weight. They are very easy to get on and off. I've worn them with light cushion wools, and with heavier cushion hiking socks, and both have felt fine. They feel very well made and I expect them to hold to the abuse I put my boots through.

I have a several pairs of Merrell shoes in different styles. I rely on them for their consistency in comfort and sizing. I was wanting to find a comfortable Chelsea boot and tried a few on but nothing appealed to me and then I found these. These boots continue that trend in consistency, just as I hoped. These shoes are essentially a boot version of their Winter Moc, my go to casual shoe when the weather cools off. These will be my new go to cold weather shoe. I'm very pleased! I'm actually wearing them as I write this review. Highly recommend!

Love all the shoes I get from Merrell. Sizing has been consistent and they are comfortable right out of the box. Great job Merrell!

Upcoming surgery will limit (for a time) my ability to put on shoes, and Fall & Winter weather will require taller shoes with waterproof capabilities. The slip-on use provided by these shoes will be helpful, and trials with putting them on one-handed went well. My other Merrell boots will get some time off.

I've been wearing them daily for 2 months, they're comfortable but no real warmth/heat retention.

Just purchase these and they are extremely comfortable. Choose these over other brands Chelsea boots because they are easy to get on and off. i wanted to purchase another pair in black but they don't have my size 11. Heard Merrell is discontinuing this shoe. That's a big mistake Merrell. My $ will now go to other shoe brands instead. Please keep this style available for your customers

Very comfortable, I really like how they look with any jeans. It is very easy to clean them. But I have not yet been able to test them in temperatures below 0C

Good boot, nothing fancy. Should have thought of a more rubberized boot but no problem with snow. Ice grip is adequate.

nice boot, but i received a size 11 in a size 10 box......ordered size 10! they also run in the wide sizes

Received the boot a few days ago and right away I felt it rub/cut with the uper edge in the front against the tendons but break in was quick: maybe 4 hours of wear. The sole is not the most grippy on ice and snow but probably more durable for that. Lugs are cool but I need it to be durable on pavement so I'm not a fan of these spaced out pointy lugs. I took it outside on -6C (felt like -16 w wind) and was very comfortable. Got a bit hot with layered socks, indoors, but not as quick as I feared: A really breathable boot. I sunk knee deep in snow and thanked the boots for barely getting any snow in them. Not the most shock absorbing Vibramonte sole but l love it nevertheless. I have high arch and always struggle with this closed design as it is hard to slip through/on. Not so here: This wide boot is easy to put on! Even easier after break in. Do not recommend this for hiking though. Priced a bit steep for me and for that I expected it to grip ice better and be even more shock absorbing and comfy but I like thefit, a generalist footware without pretentions.

Solid shoes so far. They are wide enough and comfortable. Grip is a little slippery on ice. I like that all of t he leather is lined, which makes it good enough for errands and driving in cold.

The shoe is just near perfect; light, good looking, comfy. Easy to slip on, slip off.

Happy with purchase. They look great, feel great and are 100%waterproof. Easy on, easy off and comfortable

Comfortable with a nice look. They take a bit to break in though. Great for log flights and snowy streets. So far they've seen the snow streets of Brasov

Comfortable width for my EEE feet, the ankle was a little tight but worked in well with a little mink oil. "Polar" is a big stretch. -5 Celsius and my feet got cold in an hour.

These boots are well made, comfortable to wear, and nice and warm in winter weather. I took one star off because the grip is not as good as I thought it would be when walking on ice patches on the road or sidewalk. I have a pair of Van's winter boots that seem to have better grip on ice, this brand should at least be on par in that regard.

Not as comfy as wished, but water and weather proof

I got a great deal on these convenient slip on boots. Took them to Minneapolis and Grand Rapids Minnesota and back through Chicago to Central Ohio. Perfect for the ice, snow and slush of a winter storm. Kept my feet dry and gave me the traction I needed. Surprisingly comfortable. Only caveat they are not meant for sub zero temperatures. Still, other than my running shoes these were the only pair I brought on vacation. Look good and functional which is exactly what I needed.

I liked them a lot. Unfortunately they were too big around the heel so I returned them. Bummer. Would have loved to keep them

I wear them for everyday wear for the cold weather

These slip ons are pretty good. I like that the loops are large enough for my fingers to get through them helps with donning the boots. Boot tread is good in the snow - not bad on ice.
