I wanted to like this shoe as a retro-urban walker but found the fit off. It seems durable enough and comfortable enough but the slightly bigger feel and, but of all, the sole, makes me look for something else. The sole is composed of those "ridges" so your contact with the ground is not entirely flat but on a much smaller surface area. I didn't like it and wonder what the thinking behind it was.

This is a great looking, well built shoe. I got the black and the pics look like the final product. I wear a size 9, bought a size 9 and they fit perfectly. Some reviewers mentioned the staggered pattern on the bottom of the shoe created uneven footing, but I have not experienced that once. The only reason I didn't give a 5/5 for the overall score is that they are hot. After wearing them throughout the day, my feet are a bit sweaty when I take off the shoes. This was also true with the Merrell Burnt Rock Suede Travel shoes I got. Both are great, but just hot. I am going to learn to be OK with it since everything else about the shoe is great.

I find these sneakers to be super comfortable. I am a woman and did not like the colors offered for women so I crossed my fingers hoping these would fit ok. Super happy with my purchase.

I bought these for my 18 year old son who reports that they are some of the most comfortable shoes he's ever owned. He walks quite a lot in the city and these are exactly what he wanted and needed.

Love these shoes!! I wish they still made them, the newer versions are nog as good looking.

This is a good-looking multipurpose shoe. I usually wear a women’s US 9.5. Experience w a previous color mix leads me to believe the dyed suede will fade & become less vivid. so don’t let that surprise you.
