The Moab Edge 2 is not just another shoe, it is a high traction, well built piece of gear for your feet. Being an avid outdoorsman, hunter, fisherman, and U.S. Merchant Mariner, I have put these shoes to the test in all different types of terrain, and weather conditions. They not only provide great traction, but they look great, and feel great doing it. The built in arch support, and non slip laces keep them on your feet, and stay comfortable for those long trips in the back country. As a Mariner my feet get wet daily, and even though my particular shoes are not completely waterproof, they still do a great job of keeping my feet dry, and comfortable in moderate water exposure conditions. In short, if you need a tough pair of shoes, that will tackle the trail, navigate the wilderness, or climb a mountain, these are an excellent choice! I only wish I had known about the waterproof version!

I work on the flight line for an airlines. My job doesn't require a hard toed shoe. The only shoe that I have found that lasts more than 6 months of daily wear and heavy punishment has been the Moab line of shoes. The arch support and light weight keep my energy up for the eight hours that I'm on my feet every day. The soles stand up to the beating of constant movement over concrete taxi ways. The mesh construction of the Edge 2 keep my feet from overheating when it's 90 degrees on the passenger check in side of the airport and 100+ on the flight line. The grip of the tread pattern keep me from slipping on the metal floor of the cargo bin when I'm loading the airplanes. Their flexibility comes in handy when I have to climb up the cargo belt loader to get into the aircraft cargo bin. I wish I was a hiker so that I could use them for what they were intended to do!

The navy blue shoe is very attractive. Comfortable and good fit and while I've hardly worn them expect they will be great like the current pair of Merrell's I wear daily. Vey cushioning feel & just perfect for someone with lower body aches.

I walk 10 miles a day and am on my third pair.
These shoes are so comfortable! I have worn many others but these are the best. With all the miles I put on them, they hold up very well. Love this show!

I have gotten well over 800 miles of wear on my first two pairs, I expect no different from my third pair.
The fit but more importantly the support in the arches is second to none.

Have been nice for dry PA hiking the past month. Good traction and enough support to navigate rocky sections. Not as wide as I prefer.

Despite being the ugliest pair of shoes I've ever owned the Moab Edge 2's were pretty decent all around performers...so no "real" complaints here.

These are extremely lightweight and fit/support my wide flintstone feet perfectly. They're very comfortable and they needed minimal break-in. I walk to work and love these for that as well. Traction might not be as "grippy" as a softer bottom tread material, but that's more to do with the elusive one-material-for-all-conditions issue.

Tight around my toes for wide Merrells, tighter than my other Merrells but I'll loosen them. Here in Sparks, NV, we have concrete paths as well as good, old dirt paths which are a lot easier on my feet. They are the oldest parts of my body and so need a lot of comforting.

Great arch support. Don't have to wear inserts with this shoe. This my second pair. The first held up better than most of similar shoes I've tried.

Comfort and fit/feel was actually better than my first pair from over a year ago. Got these specifically for the trip. Wanted to get the hiking ones, but maybe next time. I'd recommend, but there is some discoloration on the mesh parts after a full day of festivities. Otherwise, service - online and delivery - are six stars.

My moderately wider then average foot appreciated the room offered in the wide size of these hiking-runners.
I'd give them 5 stars if I knew they would hold up at least 2 years. Though, the way they look now (and they've had some serious use so far) they just might!

Used for touring Italy and moderate hiking while there. Great shoe for both, reducing the need to pack multiple shoes.

This is a great looking shoe and I love it. The footbed is firm. If you're looking for something with more cushion pass on this shoe. A big positive is the sole is solid and stepping on rock edges aren't a bother, It holds up well.

These shoes are similar to an earlier pair of Moab's I wore out. They're a lighter weight model, which I like, but not quite as comfortable, with a bit less padding.

I have multiple pairs of different Merrell shoes. I always wear the same size. I thought these felt a little tighter than my others.

I love the sneakers!! Good support, comfortable and affordable. He only downside are the laces. The round laces come undone east. I have to double knot them.

Excellent product, but smaller than expected. Supposed to order 1/2 size bigger than your actual size.

I bought mine 4 years ago and I'm still wearing them. Very comfortable and durable hiking/trail shoe. My favorite. I plan on buying a second pair. They're that good.

I don't normally buy shoes online without trying them on first, but I took a chance and ordered these.
I was looking for a more durable shoe for my daily walking routine.
They were a little more boot-like than I expected at first, but they are breaking in and becoming more comfortable by the day.
We'll just have to wait and see how they are holding up in 6 months.

As someone who sells shoes for a living I can confidently say that this is a great shoe. I got it to wear while at work on my feet all day. It has a great support and is very durable. However, I ran into one issue. The arch support runs a little early on my foot and causes a lot of pain in my feet, knees, and back. That a side, The shoe is great! I would just recommend trying it on and paying attention to where the pressure points hit your foot.
