these are european sized, therefore they do not convert equally to american sizing. i wear an 8.5 in american sizing but european esp high end shoes(these are not), i wear a 39. i listened to zappos which said these ran true to size and of course, they were a half size too small. returning the 38.5 for the 39. otherwise gorgeous shoe!

Love these shoes in the black patent leather!! They look like dressy sexy heels while being low and super comfortable. Was able to walk in them comfortably in Manhattan for over 45 minutes straight and in and out of the subway with stairs, and this is a tough place to walk. They ended up pinching a tiny bit at the front but nothing significant (may be an issue for those with wider feet), but the heel did not bother me whatsoever, and neither did the strap. Some straps chafe against the ankle. I wish it was available in other patent leather colors.

I’m typically an 8.5 but I followed a reviewer’s suggestion and bought the 39 and it fits perfectly. I wore them out of the box for two ten-hour days and they were comfortable! They’re also very stylish: gives the vibe of a stiletto on a lower heel.

I purchased these Kurt Geiger shoes approx 3 months ago. Simply a great shoe - it's now my favorite go-to heel. I've walked up a few hills to appointments, wore them twice to the airport and during a training session where we got up several times for group discussions - I'm amazed that at the end of the day, my feet do not hurt. I'm a "healthy" woman so having a stylish but solid block heel is def the way to go. Did I mention I love this shoe? Leather is soft. Strap is great when you have to do some fast walking and for keeping the shoes on going up and down the subway steps in Manhattan. They look great with a skirt, dress or pants.

Comfortable shoes, but you need to know your European size: I am between 7.5 and 8 and I ordered size 38.5, which fits perfectly. If you are a solid size 8 I would recommend size 39 in these shoes. Heels are steady and comfortable to wear even for 57 year old. There's enough room in toes area, although the shoes are quite pointy, I am planning to wear them to my son's wedding. Purple color is more like eggplant color, not really true purple/plum color

I bought these shoes to wear to my wedding. I usually wear between 8.5 and 9, and my foot is borderline wide. I read the reviews and decided to order both 39 and 40. the 40 fit perfectly. the designer’s size chart differs from the one on Zappos as well, and the fit was more consistent with the size chart on the designer’s website.

The shoe is a lovely off white color and a smooth leather. But be careful with the size ordered. I ordered what the Zappos website said was size US10 /EUR 40 but the item delivered was US9/EUR40. I am usually a US10 so I have reordered the EUR 41 which the Kurt Geiger wesite says is a US10

Love this shoe. I wear it to work almost every day. The heel is high enough for style, but low enough for comfort. The only thing I noticed is the very front of the toe is starting to wear slightly. I had to size up 1.5 from my normal size

Super comfortable for a night of dancing!

These shoes are gorgeous! Unfortunately I had to return them. They felt a little small and a little narrow across the toe box which made me very sad. I would've worn them every chance I got. The leather is nice and the style is perfect - pretty, not dowdy, without being too high of a heel.

I need a 9,box was marked 8.5. Please send a 9 in this same shoe. thank you.

Very nice quality shoe, but I needed a size 9 and the box is marked 8.5. Way too small.

This is a very pretty shoe but sadly even though I sized up based upon the reviews, it still doesn't feel comfortable on my foot. It feels tight all around my foot as well as narrow. Need to return.

These were a full size too small. The box said 40=size 9. I wear a 9.5-10. The ankle strap was also very tight, so I wouldn't have been able to walk in them. And, not shown in the photos, these have a gold tone KGL logo on the outside of the heel. I HATE logos! There are many more options, so I had no interest in exchanging them for the next size.

Wanted to love these as they are cuter and the reptile leather is all the rage for Fall. I'm a size 5. These were slightly long and very wide around the ankles, making them bulky. Leather was hard, not sure the ankle straps would ever soften up and be comfortable. Returned them. Thank you Zappos for the GREAT return policy!!!
