Wanted to love the Ryka Devotion Plus 3. I liked the blue color and style and arch support, but the shoe was too small. I normally order a size 10 in Ryka and have for years. On the advice of a Podiatrist ,ordered a half-size up to 10.5, but sadly my toes are hitting the end. Trying to decide whether or not to order an 11 or switch to the new Ryka Devotion in navy blue. The original Devotion was one of my all time favorite shoes! Love the anatomical foot bed and great arch support, wide toe box and narrow heel have always fit really well. Don't like the new shoes with "foam" footbeds - not supportive enough to be on feet all day at work. I know some complain of the soft rubber sole wearing out too quickly, but doesn't bother me since they are always at a good price compared to other brands and can easily be replaced. I've tried New Balance, Asics, Brooks, don't like any of them.

Context: I walk about five miles a day. Excellent arch support, which is what I need. I ordered a half size up. I'm a size 6. Ordered 6.5 and that fit. The toe bed was wider than I expected but it is still very comfortable. It feels cushiony when I walk, which is nice. I love Saucony as well but Ryka Devotion has better arch support.

I am 64 years old. I wear 10.5 wide. I have a bunion on my left foot. I pronate a bit. And I am overweight. During the stay at home orders, I began to walk as close to every day as I could. I have 3 other Devotion Plus 3 shoes, and I was wearing them all down! These shoes have a roomy enough toe box and the mesh lets my feet breathe and I can wiggle my toes in them. I ordered this new pair a few days before Labor Day and they came today. As soon as I tried them on, they felt perfect. Also, they look cool, too.

I am a walker. I walk about 5 miles a day, and these shoes were the best I have ever worn! no need for added cushioning that I have always had to add to other walking shoes. for the price, a real bargain. Barbara

In the past I've had the Ryka Dash 2 and I just purchased the Dash 3 (which I love). This is the first time I've tried the Devotion model. The Devotion Plus 3 is very light & comfortable and they fit well on my WIDE problem feet (one bunion, high arches, high instep, narrower heels). My feet measure 8 W, but I always get 8.5 W which gives a little extra room. The one difference I noticed is that although this model seems to have good arch support, it lets my foot pronate more than the Dash models. When I noticed this, I tried putting in an insert that prevents severe pronation and that made all the difference. With the 3/4 length orthotic insert, these shoes are heavenly to walk on, with loads of cushion and spring. Look at the soles carefully. Because they are unusual, I plan to save them mostly for the gym since I don't want to chance wearing out the tread on rough pavements. This might be an unnecessary precaution?

I love these, great cushioning! I kept size 8 bec I don't like thick socks. And because they seemed a little wide at ankle. But 8.5 would have worked too. I also kept pair of Dash 3 in 8.5. they're probably more of a "perfect" fit Love them too. I liked both better than Skywalk, which doesn't seem to have the "technology" of the other 2, and not as good a fit. I feel arch support for both is better than moderate but not excellent. I liked Asics for years but in recent years they just didn't seem as good so I haven't bought any. Glad to have Ryka!

I have to write a detailed review on these because i was greatly surprised how well they fit and feel. They HAVE an arch in them and i struggle to find a shoe that fits my arch like it should. This arch is in the proper place and i could wear them around all day and not have an issue, which i cannot do with just any shoe including the other Ryka Shoes I tried. Surprisingly i fit into the size 11 and my toes does not feel like its pushed against the end of the shoe, and the arch is in the right place for me. I try to wear them around the house like i do with most shoes and a couple hours later i realized i just had them on and my feet feel great! This is the first time i have tried this brand and thanks to reviews i tried them and out of the few models i found this one that is so comfortable I’m going to order another pair in a different colour. This is the first time i have not had to have a special insole in the shoe to help my feet. This Ryka insole DOES have an arch in it I can’t say enough about this Ryka Devotion 3, no other Ryka model fit like this one. There is enough room in the toe bed but not too much and my foot is narrow over the arch and this shoe is wonderful in the normal width If you have a wider foot definitely go with wide. I have tried other Ryka’s in 11 and they are too short and the 12 are too wide, I’m sure some may not like this shoe but i can’t say enough about how this shoe feels. 10 Stars from me!!!

Disappointed to say these had to go back. I loved the shoe but it bends and therefore does not provide enough support for my plantar faciatis.

I always know within seconds if a pair of shoes will hurt my feet or not. These felt great immediately, and continue to be among the most comfortable walking shoes I’ve ever purchased. I have high arches and hypersensitive metatarsals and always have to add inserts, but not with these shoes. Yay.

i put a full length orthodics in this this shoe and so far so good.. I like them a lot

I usually buy New Balance walking shoes and for years they were fine. But they changed something or other and I ordered 5 different shoes before giving up on them. I tried Ryka based on the reviews and I am SO HAPPY with them! They have great arch support, feel VERY cushy, yet sturdy. I am 72 with feet that have fallen arches and bunions and these shoes felt delightfully comfortable as soon as I put them on. They look good, too.

Comfortable shoe. Good support for distance walking, casual walking, or being on your feet all day.

Good grief, I thought I'd finally found the athletic shoe that my foot shape likes, without being so expensive. BUT, as great as all the features are -- cushy, wide toe box, nice arch fit -- they are so slack with NO lateral support. The inside of the feet are allowed to pronate inwards, because there is no support in the shoe there. Otherwise, they'd be perfect!

Love this shoe, so comfy! The arch support doesn’t quite work for me, I’ll have to add a little more support there. But, I have 2 problems with my feet, so it would be hard to have the perfect shoe. These come very close!

I ordered up a size but was too big. The syle was nice but both shoes sides puckered they had a sloppy look. Too bad these are cute shoes. If there was quality workmanship these would be a winner.

This is the shoe I have been waiting for! It is about as perfect as a shoe can get. I had Morton's Neuroma surgery in my left foot years ago and need a wide toe box and good cushioning and this shoe provides both. Excellent right out of the box. Thank you, Ryka and Zappos!

This is THE most comfortable shoe I have ever had on my feet! Immediately ordered a second one pair to have on hand just in case they go out of stock.

Very comfortable walking shoe from day 1.

I wear a size 5 and it fit perfectly. My toes do not touch the end. I would recommend thinner socks but if you wear thick socks consider a 1/2 size bigger. I love them!

The fit and size are perfect for me. The shoe also has sufficient arch support. The purpose for me is my treadmill fast walking. I am delighted with all aspects of this shoe for my intended purpose. My previous brand of shoe was New Balance, but recently that brand has not fit properly.

Toe box is a bit narrow.
