So I work for Amazon and I am on my feet all day moving and running and these boots are great ya I had to break them in a little but it’s a far cry from wearing vans all day and I can trudge through puddles and my feet stay dry in the rain as well I recommend these boot completely

This shoe is by far the best dr Martin for a work boot. Comfortable all day wear. I am a driver for Amazon and I constantly am walking, climbing stairs, going in and out of the vehicle for 10 hours a day.Totally recommend for anyone who needs a waterproof, ankle and arch support boot. Also keeps feet dry all day. Love that the insole is super cushiony.

I’m 5’0 tall, 107 lbs and can wear a 5.5 or 6 shoe. I decided to order size 6 because I’ll be wearing these boots outdoors in all Northwest weather conditions. The toe box is a little more roomy than I expected but that will leave space to wear toe warmers. The boot toe is super sturdy even though it’s not a steel toe boot box. I rated comfort a 4 star instead of 5 because the boot collar is rubbing on the inside of my shin and leaving it sore - but I think that’s a combination of my anatomy, thin socks and not yet figuring out how tight or loose to tie the laces. I don’t use the top laces eyelet set because the tongue doesn’t extend that high, leaving the tied laces to rest against my shin rather than against the tongue; it’s not bothersome or painful and it actually saves me from lacing/unlacing each day. I’ve had them for a week and my feet stayed dry in 3 consecutive days of torrential rain. I recommend these boots and will buy them again.

Sooo comfortable right out of the box! I'm amazed. I've always loved the look of Dr. Martens but just never got around to buying them. I hesitated about these because I wear an 8.5 shoe or boot normally but these don't come in half sizes so I had to order a size 9. I haven't worn them outside yet, but walking in my house they feel perfect. Not stiff at all. I'll update this review if I find they feel less perfect on the sidewalk and grass.

I like these boots a lot. The length was good and they look like they would last. They seemed like they'd be comfortable for someone who had an average-width foot. Unfortunately the width didn't work for me. I have narrow heels, low arches and I do have a pretty wide foot but not wide enough that I require a wide shoe in all brands. The toe box was just wide enough to be comfortable, the heel width was perfect but they just weren't wide enough from about the arch area to the ball of the foot. I'd definitely buy these in a wider width if that was an option. One thing to be aware of is that the waterproof liner is not sewn or glued to the heel of the boot like it is on the bottom and sides. I don't know if that would become an issue over time or not, but it did bunch up a bit when trying them on if the laces weren't loosened up enough when sliding my heel in.

These boots have a design flaw that causes them to squeak while being worn. I ordered them in November of 2021, but the squeaking wasn't noticeable until March of 2022. I suspect that the rubber on the bottom of the boots are made up of two parts that are not properly connected, which causes them to tear and rub against each other. I highlighted my photo in Red and Blue to show this. Unfortunately the squeaking issue is likely to get worse over time, so I have to return these boots, which is disappointing because they look and feel great otherwise.

Great support and definitely warm and waterproof. Worked in slush and ice. Completely dry feet at the end of the day!

When i received the boots I instantly thought they looked a little bigger than normal. Once i tried them on I realized that they were just a little bit bigger, maybe a half size. But they are much more comfortable than the average Dr martens. I enjoyed the extra padding around the ankles. They were definitely designed for the working person.

I had to return these boots. If you have big feet Dr. Martens doesn't make their shoes in half sizes. I wear a size 11 and they were way too big. I couldn't get a 10.5.

I’m a DSP driver for Amazon. I gotta say I was realllllly skeptical about buying Docs for 10-hour days up and down in the van all day. Ever since they went from function to form, Docs have been hard to wear. More about style than comfort. But….these are AMAZING even straight out of the box. Didn’t need to break them in at all! They redesigned their boots in the Work Boot line. They have a cushy insole like Ariat boots that feel like a tennis shoe inside. Complete with heel impact pads. Real leather, not stiff vegan leather. Waterproof. OSHA safety approved. And they broke up the heel panel on the back so it doesn’t break against your ankles and rub blisters like regular Docs. They’re a little higher profile than I would have liked, but they’re super lightweight and bendy. I highly recommend!! Why can’t they make their 1460s like this??? Note: There is no arch support which is perfect for me because I already have sky-high arches. If you need arch support, you might feel some fatigue from wearing these.

I got these shoes for work delivering packages. Super nice fit immediately out of the box. Very comfortable even after walking most of the day. Not unattractive and can be worn outside work.

Generally I wear an 8.5 in women’s shoes/boots. I originally ordered the 9, but discovered they were too big. I exchanged for an 8 and they’re perfect! (The exchange process was extremely easy, and the representative I spoke with was very nice!) I wore them for 10 hours yesterday and, right off the bat, they have proven to be super comfortable! I highly recommend! (PS- I’m a ‘fashionista’ of sorts and I absolutely love the look!)

This is absolutely my favorite boot. It is stylish, comfortable from the first time wearing and perfect sizing. I get compliments all the time. Considering a second purchase.

Standard Doc Martens break-in woes though admittedly a shorter process than usual leather. Scuffs easily. Not even remotely slip resistant; I work in food service and took a spill on a freshly mopped floor last night.

These shoes were great. I got them for work. I do delivery and I am on my feet in all weather conditions. But I have only had them for 7 weeks and both shoes have huge holes inside. Now my socks been ripped wide open. And my ankle is hurting. This is way to soon for such expensive shoes.

I work in a bakery and am on my feet on cement floors all shift. I have tried clogs, slip on shoes, and other work boots, but these are hands down my favorite work boot. They are non slip, provide good support, and my feet aren't killing me at the end of the day. Plus I can hose them off and they're clean! They are true to size for me. Love them!

They are comfortable right out of the box. I am a delivery driver. I was looking for water proof and slip proof boots, and they haven't let down yet. I had these boots for 2 months. They are lightweight. Easy to put on with the pull tab. I work in them almost everyday running, walking, and pulling large carts full of boxes. I walk in puddles and my feet stay dry. These shoes protect my feet from scratches by the carts. Lastly, I don't slip on the fancy, moped building floors. I love these boots, I might get another pair. Although, I wish they came with a composite, steel, or some kind of safety toe.

The the boot fit my shoe size very comfortable I don't know about how much of it being waterproof because my socks were wet. Also there is a doc Martin tag and the inside of the boot by the ankle that rubbed and irritates my skin probably going to cut it out.

These shoes are awesome as a delivery driver. It took me a couple days to get used to the weight, but they really are so comfortable, and my feet stay dry in water and snow. I highly recommend to anyone out in the elements for work.

I've gotta say that these boots are sexy + functional - this alone begets recommendation. Here's more... they feel wider than advertised and i have a bunion... usually wider shoes give me extra space yet these boots give me a smidge more space than necessary and with a bunion; imagine without. my wife had the first look and immediately thought they had been worn at least once. while i respect her observations, and she is a connoisseur of boots, it doesn't ring true for me. I feel like whatever makes them waterproof lends to the aesthetic; even seen as imperfect. i wear these boots mostly for work and i am active and on my feet for around 9-11 hours straight. they are comfy period overall, i recommend these boots. you know you want them so give yourself a shot. if you dot like them, order something else. and if you really like 'em, lick 'em.

Great boot, however, I do wish they were a bit roomier inside; I guess ordering a bigger size would've sufficed. Definitely waterproof, but your feet will sweat in them all day, regardless of what kind of sock you wear. They're comfortable, and they keep your feet warm in the winter.

Fit, Look and Function are all good. Ive only had these since october (~4months) and the sole is starting to come entirely off the front left toe. I wear them just about everyday and to work but even my last 2 year old classic 8 eye DMs are still all in one piece, only with sole wear, after the same type of daily/work wear. Honestly very disapointing.
