These boots look awesome, but they are extremely difficult to put on due to the stiff leather and the buckles. This style would be infinitely easier to wear if they had an inside zipper. These also ran wider than any of the other Doc Martens I've tried.

I normally wear a womens 12 in shoes, 12.5 in boots, it is difficult to find boots in my size. I ordered 4 different unisex styles in Dr. Marten boots (mens 10/ womens 12) and found they did not fit a womens foot very well. They were all wide, very chuncky, clunky looking and too heavy to wear everyday. The flat black leather looks like faux leather. The boots all look great in the photos, very cheap looking in person. I'm really disappointed and have returned all 4 styles. Zappos please expand your large size shoe/boot collections!

I am a big fan of Doc Martens, and these are no exception. This style has quickly become a fave, and looks great with a short skirt, leggings or skinny jeans. The leather on these boots is stiff initially, and breaks in over time. Because of the stiffness, the straps are a little annoying at first, as they’re always in the way when I’m trying to lace the boots. Other than that, I REALLY like their style, and love that being basic black, they’re pretty versatile. Like all of my other Docs, they run a bit large and a bit wide, and need arch support added. With minimal care, I hope they’ll last pretty much forever as my other pairs have.

I really like the look of these but the leather was super stiff and felt fake. I’ve owned many pairs of docs in the past and these just felt like much poorer quality.
