I have been wearing TOMS shoes for years. Sadly, I will be returning all 3 pairs that I just ordered. I have a somewhat low heel on the back of my foot so that shoes that come up too high (probably standard and no problem for most people) in the back always give me blisters. When I got my new TOMS in the mail I couldn't wait to try them on, only to be terribly disappointed when I immediately felt them hitting my heel higher than I am used to. The new shoes are at least 1/4 inch higher in the back, which may not seem like a big deal but for me it's the difference between pain free, and terrible blisters. I simply cannot wear shoes that come up this high. TOMS have been my GO TO shoes for years and I have never had to worry about this problem. WHY would they change the way they make their shoes? I am so sad and disappointed to have to return my new TOMS and I guess I will not be able to order them again.

I was shocked by how stiff the heel bed is on these. I mean I would expect that from a knock-off version but having never owned a pair of Tom's before, I guess I just assumed at this price point that the shoe would not destroy my heel. The first time I wore these it was a brief walk...my heels were rubbed raw, I almost couldn't walk home. It's not that the shoe is tight, they are sized correctly, it's just that the back is so stiff and offers no cushion. I think with an added stick on cushion they will be wearable but again, at this price point I was hoping I wouldn't have to spend more money to make them comfortable. I do like the metallic color and have high hopes that when they are broken in they will be fine.

I have size 12 to 13 feet depending on the shoe. Some companies make there sizing shorter than others. These fit like a glove. For example, VANELi always run too short for me in size 12. So with that being said. These shoes fit nice, feel great and look cute. They will be great summer shoes and I will purchase another pair in a different color.

I usually wear a 9 when I wear Toms but they only had an 8.5 so I took my chances and ordered them. When I tried them on, I thought they were not going to fit but 10 min after wearing them, they stretched out a little and now they are my fav pair of shoes. A winner!
