Cute, comfortable boot with good arch support, but in less than a month of occasional wear, the sole is separating from the boot, making it unwearable. Not acceptable to spend more than $100 for boots that fall apart after a few weeks. Disappointing for a brand I have trusted for some time.

I bought these for a week long trip to Europe (not from Zappos, they were out of my size) where I was going to be walking 5-10 miles a day in off and on rain. They were far and away the most incredibly comfortable and supportive shoes I have ever worn on a trip! Easily! I always struggle so much when preparing for trips because my feet are so fussy and tend to get fatigued easily. But not in these. The were perfect. I brought three pairs of shoes, but only wore these the whole time. (Tons of walking, very light occasional rain, 55-65 degree temps.) However! When I went to put them away after we returned, I noticed the sole is peeling away at the toe on both shoes! I am hoping it might just be a bad pair, but the fact that it's happening on both is concerning. I am STILL tempted to get another pair, because they are so incredible. Hope it's just a one time thing. Zappos has mine back in stock. I may risk it. They're that good.

I have been wanting these boots for so long and waiting for them to get back in stock in my size! Finally saw they were back in stock and I ordered them immediately but I am VERY disappointed. They have obviously not only been worn but someone really scuffed them up and when they were sent to me all the scuffs and marks were still on them and they look used right out of the box. I am so disappointed that the boots I’ve been looking forward to for so long look like someone else has already worn them for a couple months.

I'd been looking at these for a bit as I wanted a Chelsea-style boot to wear during some upcoming trips I have--going to places where the weather is cooler and my usual Chaco sandals won't be appropriate, so I decided to order these in a half size larger than my usual size. I did this so that I would be able to wear thick socks with them. I have wide, flat feet so I was hesitant at first but I'm glad I ordered them. They fit nicely, felt a bit wider than I anticipated, and provided plenty of arch support. If they came in a cognac color I'd buy those too! Hoping I don't have the sole peeling issue that others seem to have but will see once they get some wear and tear.

Ordered these along Born Cove and Sorel Emeile. Had a very hard time deciding between Cove and these--but the the comments in the reviews on the separated sole were too much of a risk for me. I chatted with customer service, who said they'd had no returns on the Chelsea...but I could tell looking at the sole how it could break off. So, sadly, back they go...even though they were as lovely as the Cove.

These boots are comfortable and sturdy for outdoor work. Unfortunately, I am picky about chelsea boots in that I want them to hug my ankles and calves, but these have an elongated ankle/calf shape that just I don't like the look of. They somewhat resemble the 'darn tuff' rubber boots. So I'll be returning them, sadly. Arch support felt amazing, like my chaco sandals have. Last note - the rubber sole squeaks hilariously loudly when walking on my wood floors - but I think this is just new sole sounds and with time this would go away.

I am very pleased with these boots. The In step was a bit tight when I first put them on, but I have a very high instep. And they seem to have loosened after just one wearing. They are quite comfortable. Also, I like the amazing traction they have as well as the ease of putting them on and off as there are no zippers or laces.

I wore these boots on a 10 day trip to Paris and London and am so glad I did! They kept my feet warm and protected from the rainy weather. I did use a set of inserts for added comfort. I walked about 12000 steps a day in these boots. I wore them with leggings and skinny jeans. They were the best purchase I made for the trip!

These boots are my favorite boots ever -- so cute, so comfortable! I was in the midst of having another plantar fasciitis attack when I got them and wearing them made my feet feel so much better. I'm very glad I got them and I am praying they hold up well. Best boots ever!!

Comfortable for all day walking, easy to slip on and off, room for thicker socks too! Cute rounded toe and a nice variation on the Chelsea style.

Sigh, wanted to like these. They seem super sturdy, very nice sole whatever that's made of. I liked the idea of a slip on boot, but without laces to tighten I felt like I was swimming in them too much so the heel slips somewhat. The ankle opening is rather large. Also the brown leather came scratched and scuffed even new in the box so it seems like they'd look pretty rough after a day on the town. Maybe that wouldn't be so obvious with the black leather. Returning. :(

These are beautiful boots. My problem with them is that my heel slipped halfway up the shaft of the boot with every step. They were great for my wide toes, but not great in the enormous heel!

I reviewed these when I first got them and didn't like how they fit. I tried them again over the course of a couple of days and can say that NEVERMIND, these actually do fit really well! I think the leather just needed to stretch/soften a little to my foot. These have considerable arch support and my toes have room, though the center part of my foot is snug in the shoe. If your feet are wide in the middle, these may be a problem. These are comfy, cute, easy to put on with the attached loop, and despite the soles being VERY squeaky when I first put them on they stopped squeaking after a few laps around the house. I hope to get a lot of use out of them...and hope that they don't have the issue that others have had with the separating sole. Fingers crossed because I really like these boots and they fill a hole in my wardrobe really well.

SUPER. Tried them out for the first time on a transatlantic trip -- figured I could break them a bit on the plain, then trade out upon arrival for the well-worn pairs of shoes in my luggage. Well, the luggage never arrived. I spent four days touring Prague in these shoes, plus the two-day travel time on each side of that Prague visit. THE BEST SHOES EVER. I am now a committed Chaco fan. Wish they made more styles of shoes so I could wear them to work every day.

Beautifully crafted and high quality boot. Unfortunately the toe box was a little too low and hurt the bunion on my left foot for that reason I am returning.

I love these boots! They are sturdy and comfortable. I have narrow heels and after trying many other brands and styles, these work for me. I love the black so much I'm hoping to get another pair in brown.

These boots are so cute! I thought they would be winter boots, but they’re good for any season. I am a sucker for a pair of chacos and these exceeded my expectations.

In LOVE with these boots. They have a very high arch, just like Chaco sandals. I typically wear a 7.5, but based off of reviews saying they ran big, I ordered a 7 which fits perfectly. I can still wear them with thick socks, too. Looks great with leggings, jeans, a dress, whatever. I hope these last forever!!!

This shoes are absolutely fantastic and gorgeous. I am a 9 or 9.5 and they only had a 10 so I took a chance in case I could get away with buying them larger with thick socks, but it didn't work out. I so wanted to buy them. They are really attractive, well made, but just too large. Lucky you, size 10 wearer, who gets this last pair. I need major arch support and they have that in their own insole, I did not need to put in my own orthotic. Also, I have a high instep, and this boot accommodated that as well. They were just too big and my foot kept slipping out. Loved them though and will find something similar.

These boots fit great and are super comfortable! I have a very high arch and can rarely find a boot I can get my foot in. Even with a warm sock, these went on without a struggle. They were comfortable on the first wear!

I wanted to like these! Style-wise, they're great. They fit the niche I was looking for in my wardrobe. Construction seems fine. Fit-wise, though, these squeezed the top of my foot above the arch too much to be able to wear them long. Just trying them on to walk around my house left enough of a sore spot on my foot to not want to continue. They seemed a little small in that regard, even if the sole of my foot and toes had enough room. I typically wear a size 7 and ordered a 7, and would be able to wear these with thinner socks if it weren't for the squeezing thing. And as one nitpicky thing, the soles were VERY squeaky when I walked on hard floors. I don't know if that would wear off over time.

I really wanted these boots. I have 3 different styles of Chico’s and love how they fit and support my feet. Upon sliding these boots on, I knew the support would be what I have come to expect fro Chaco. I have flat feet, small bunions and a pronates slightly. These boots were perfect in length and the toe box was ample. The problem is that they slide up and down on my heels. I wore them for an hour around the house and could feel the beginning of an irritation. Sadly, I must return them.

These boots are SO narrow! A few minutes of wearing them around the house left my feet feeling as though they were being crushed. Sadly they are too pricey to risk breaking them in with the hope of achieving comfort. That seemed like it would have been a painful process, anyway. It's a shame because these boots get a 10/10 for style. I think you need to have quite narrow feet for them to be comfortable, though.

The boot has wonderful arch support. While the leather looks a little cheap for the price, my reason for returning is that the rubber-like soles squeak when walking on anything but carpet. Disappointing.
