Great looking boot but as with all Sorel boots, they are cut a full size smaller that the size indicated and are super wide. If you have a narrower foot it will be necessary to use an insole to take up the extra space. Without the added insole they are not very cushioned. The biggest disappointment is the cheap quality faux sheepskin trim which looks a little ratty. Surprised because I have always been impressed with the overall quality of Sorel products. Still the style outweighs any of the negatives.

Gosh I totally did not expect these to work out. Kinda ordered on a whim. They are so flippin cute, comfy, and well put together. Sorel tends to run-a bit short and narrow for me. These are not narrow, plenty of room for a sock. I usually wear 8 1/2, but a 9 in this brand. I got the sand color and like it a lot

Super soft, cozy, cute and warm! Can be slipped on and off if tied a little looser. It has a Thinner sole, so not for rugged terrain, but great for around town. I’m usually a size 9, but ordered a 9 1/2 after reading reviews, and they fit perfect. My only wish is that the footbed was fleece vs just the sides.

I bought these boots for my 25 year old daughter, she's always has been a Ugg fan, but she felt she has worn every pair of Uggs possible and wanted something a little different and with little more traction for the winter. She has read the reviews and stated these boots are about a half size smaller than her normal foot size. Which she was reluctant because she already wears a size 10 and a 10.5 is not fun. With always knowing Zappos great quick return policy she took the chance. Well the reviews were correct a 1/2 size bigger is what she felt was needed and her feet did not look big, with the shape of these boots they are very proportion. She is very happy with this boot, they are also very comfortable and not at all heavy, the color was black and will look great with leggings.

I loved these boots. I am usually a size 8.5 but ordered a 9 because I like a wide shoe. They were a little big so probably would have been okay with the 8.5. They also are wider than Sorel Whitney boot which seemed narrow. The bad news is after wearing only about 10 times, the white rubber started to separate from the black suede right where I bend my foot. I sent them back which was disappointing because I really liked them, and they were very comfortable. Curious if anyone else has had this same problem as they are getting great reviews from other people?

I wear an 8 1/2 shoe. After reading other Sorel boot reviews, I ordered a size 9. It fits perfect. There is enough room for a heavy sock. They felt really comfy walking around the house.

The left boot fits perfectly, looks great. The left foot is a different story which I've never experienced before. After about an hour of wearing these, the right boot is uncomfortable where the very padded tongue attaches to the boot.Too much pressure on the top of the foot. In addition, the metal eyelets are angled on the right boot but are horizontally straight on the left boot which is how the right boot should be. I've relaced the right boot many times but it has no affect on the the eyelets. Very disappointed with this boot. If I haven't worn it off & on over the past month I would return them.

Omg. I’m in love with these little, light weight, waterproof, comfy, quick on & off, stylish warm booties!!!! I’m normally a 7.5 but I ordered an 8 so I could wear thicker socks - I can feel the little extra room and love it!! I’m pretty sure I’ll be wearing these every single day this winter! I kinda want the grey ones too....?

I usually order 1/2 size up in Sorel boots. And this time was no exception. They fit perfectly with socks. Love the look. Very comfortable. I'll get a lot of use out of these this winter.

These ran a full size smaller than my Sorel Joan of Arctics I bought less than two years ago. The traction on the bottom is much less than I was expecting. I was hoping for something simple, warm, and less clunky to run errands in, but besides being too small I'm afraid I'll slip in these on the snow and ice. They look like they'd be great otherwise.

Love! Order a half a size up fits perfect. Lots of compliments. Wore them all day at work (standing up) felt great.

Well took a chance on the natural color again...this pair fit like a glove, 7 1/2 with thin sock...they are so warm, comfortable and too cute...already got a compliments...thank you Zappos ! Love the cash back too !

So I ordered these shoes after reading all the reviews and knowing I would get them in the day before we were leaving for the college tailgating where the weather was going to be cold and rainy with a chance of snow. They were PERFECT! The fit was flawless I usually order a 10 but I ordered an 11 after reading the reviews. They were totally comfortable and I walked for miles without foot pain or discomfort from needing to break the shoes in. We faced snow and cold but my feet were toasty warm. I have bunions and hammer toes and these shoes caused zero pain, and looked cool in the college crowd. I would totally recommend buying these shoes!

I feel they are true to size. I love the style and are comfy. In addition, they are waterproof. I love the height of the boot and are easy to walk in. Overall, I’m very happy I decided on these boots.

I ordered a half size up and it was the right thing to do.

Ordered the black and natural tan. Kept the black for the following reasons. The tan is a few shades lighter in person than on the screen. About the color of a sugar cookie. That might work in places that only get pretty Christmas movie snow, but I live in upstate NY where it's pretty much 5 months of sloppy slushy snow. I'd be too worried to wear such light colored shoes. The black is more practical, sigh. Agree that the tongue is pretty puffy. I preferred the slimmer top with the gray felt and hope someday Sorel makes more colors with that option. As far as support goes, there is little to none in this shoe and I wouldn't wear it without a wool superfeet insole or custom orthotics. There is literally a seam down the sole under the lightweight supplied insole! That said, with the replaced insoles, this a cute, everyday winter sneaker boot. I typically wear an 8 and went to an 8.5 in these. Normally Sorels are too narrow for my bunions, but these have ample width and toe room. Looking forward to testing out the waterproofness on the next storm!

Ordered half size up. I knew I would be wearing with thicker socks, didn't want them to be too tight. Very comfortable, used them for hiking in Zion National Park straight out of the box.

Love these boots! I've worn them through 2 heavy snow falls already. They cradle my feet like slippers and the fleece lining on the collar of the boot and the tongue make these incredibly comfortable with no rubbing. I like the top hooks for the laces which make these really easy to get on and off. Like other reviewers I was concerned about the lack of treads on the soles. They weren't great in snow where treads would have worked better, but I have not slipped in them. I ordered the size I wear for sneakers but need to wear a heavier sock with the boots which is why I think they run just slightly large. There is a slight separation between the sole and upper of the boot but it does not seem to affect the water proofing of the boot.

A little narrow. I put an arch support in and also ordered up and they are great... oooos and ahhhs from everyone. Ordering a different color for my daughter who trods through cold wet salty Minnesota streets.

I wear these walking about 4 hours every day. Live in Chicago and get snow, ice, wind and cold. (Temps -15 to 30’s) 1 hour is walking my dog outside, the other three are indoors as a lunchroom monitor (my retirement job). For some reason they are still comfortable indoors. They are cozy, warm, & super comfortable. I’m wearing them now in the fall into winter with temps that are in 30’s -50’s. I wear a size 10 & purchased a 10. Put them on, they are ready to go with all the comfort I could ask for! I’m buying a 2nd pair.

Good fit, very comfortable! I love these boots and receive many compliments. I needed a good errand boot that is water resistant and not too clunky, easy on/off that I could wear daily during the winter when out and about. These keep my feet warm and dry with winter socks here in the cold north (MN). Our kids play hockey so great for cold nights at the rink too. I like them so much I came back to by another pair in different color, but no surprise they are all sold out. You can’t go wrong with these I love them!

I have 2 pairs of the Whitney Short Lace Sorel boots which I bought in a store and was able to try on before purchasing. Most reviews say to size up and I was worried ordering these because my other Sorel's are the size I normally wear in other shoe brands (I wear a lot of Clark's shoes). I ordered my normal size and they fit perfect. In fact, I wear thicker socks with them and they are the most comfortable boots I have every worn. I would wear them year round if my feet didn't get too hot. I walk my dogs 3-5 miles every morning and wear my Sorel boots from November to March. My feet stay dry, warm and comfortable. I've had my first pair for over 2 years now and they still look and wear great.

These are the cutest boots! Very warm (just in time for an arctic blast!) Per other reviews, do order a half size larger as they run small. The half size gave me plenty of toe room. As I have a high arch, the insole left much to be desired but I replaced with my own insole and they're fine. The only thing I didn't like was that when laced up tight around the ankle, they have this strange squeak to them. I'm hoping that this will work itself out with wear. I can attest that they are waterproof and I have had quite a few compliments on them. Zappo's is awesome! Quick shipping and terrific customer service!

I walk 365 days a year so it's important that I have the right shoes, especially in inclement weather. I treated myself to these boots because I know the brand is reputable. They look great, I love walking in them, they are super easy and quick to get on. They probably could have a little more arch support for the amount of walking I do but so far they are comfortable enough.

Love these. So many compliments. Easy on and off which I bought to change at the gym. I’m finding they are currently my go to shoes. I live in MA and there is always ice. These are super light weight which I wanted as I work in an elementary school and need to be able to run around easily.
