I have a previous generation of these boots and absolutely loved them, but need to replace them when the Goretex finally wore out. Unfortunately Adidas changed the design in this new generation and they're incredibly painful. The lowest, outside eyelet for the pull laces has been moved down so that it sits over top of my little toe. When I cinch these boots tight, the way I'd want to when descending a trail, this causes a really painful compression on top of my little toe, so bad that I could barely walk after a few hours. Though they're otherwise very comfortable, lightweight, and great hiking boots, this means I really can't wear them at all. Very disappointed. See the attached photo for a comparison to the older generation.

I want to wear these everywhere but I like them to mucho dont want them prematurely worn out. I want them for my adventures hiking and exploring so I save them for that rough stuff.
The pull string is amazing. The fit is perfect and they hug the trails and rock faces effortlessly

Really pleased, the quality is excellent and the quick fasten laces is a nice feature. Haven't tested in Water yet, but the covering looks fairly water proof to me!

I toyed with the idea of buying these for a while and eventually made the purchase and wish I had sooner, sized up 0.5 and got a perfect fit. The walks I've been on so far have been much better on my feet on the trails compared to my previous regular walking boots

These walking boots are top top quality and super comfy! The drawstring fibre lacing system works brilliantly and keeps your foot secure and well fitted in the boot, even over long distances and periods of time. Also, the Boost sole with the Continental tread makes for walking across most terrains comfortable and no trouble at all! I would highly recommend these boots to anyone!!

Ive been hiking for a number of years now and can honestly say these are the most comfortable boots ive worn. Im training for a 100k hiking challenge and took these out on a 25k training hike. My friend who i was walking with had horrible blisters from another brands boots within 15km but my feet felt as comfortable as the 1st minute i put them on. They are also great through bogs and puddles. Feet came out perfectly dry.
Have always loved Adidas for footwear but never tried their Terrex range. Fair to say i wont be looking back now. Terrex for the win!!!

I went up a 1/2 size to accommodate my wide foot and thicker socks, they fit perfectly. Looking forward to using these on some walks soon with the added reassurance of a gore-tex liner. Best feature - ease of access provided by the speed lacing and the uppermost outer lace loop is actually a hook so you can open the boots right up to slip your foot in, much easier than any other boot I have tried to get my flipper-like feet into.

If you're worried about the fastener, it works fine. Sizing is good for sports socks, but tight for walking socks, so order accordingly.

The first time of purchasing an outdoor hiking boot and I'm not disappointed one bit with these Skychaser XTs. Having read other reviews i was a little sceptical about there performance based on the price. Ordered a full size up and they are a perfect fit. Ridiculously comfortable, warm and dry but also still breathable with a thick pair of socks. Very Happy purchase, the only issue is, they look so good it's difficult seeing them get covered in mud. Could do with some tips on how best to clean and keep them in good working condition.

Do seen waterproof so far. No breaking in time. My best ever hiking boots. Only slight negative is tread on sole is not aggressive enough to cope with all steep slippy hillsides in poir weather, and you can easily slip.

I've been after a good pair of walking boots for ages and I was not disappointed with these, went on on first long walk yesterday and they were like I've owned them for years! Super comfortable....

I love Adidas products so as im now walking a lot I couldn't resist trying the terrek boot and not going to buy the usual outdoor boots typical of that industry , they took a while to break in but finally they fit snug as very tight fit im a7 so would encourage a size larger with hiking socks only down side is that they dont keep feet warm in cold I feel that my feet get cold so maybe a rethink min design up front of foot
