As big HP fans, my son loves the shoes (Deathly Hallows), but they are extremely difficult for him to get on. It took significant effort by both of us to get them on, even with thin socks. Once on, he said they fit well, but that the heel was still a little tight. He hasn't really worn them yet, so we will see if he gets any blisters.

Super cute shoes! Well made - they lasted a long time.

My 7 year old has normal width but low volume feet and these fit him similarly to his Under Armor running shoes in the same size. They seem to be great quality and the design is pretty swanky;-)

So cute I have wide feet but find that kids shoes typically are wider though these are not very wide, but so cute I will stretch them out wearing them. I wear a womens 6.5 and I got a kids 4.5 i would say they were true to size.

I purchased the "Golden Snitch Vans" for my daughter in her normal size. The shoes are a very cool design. The black canvas and gold go well together. The featherlike decal on the sides is printed on the fabric but looks like it will not peel off easily. The kid version of this shoe does NOT come with the extra golden snitch that is strung through the laces. That extra bling only comes with adult sizes. My daughter was a little bummed about that, but not enough to not want these to add to her wardrobe. Vans should have just had that feature on all versions (in my opinion). With that said, these shoes are being worn as "regular" sneakers with jeans, dresses, leggings, etc. They are not good for sports activities. She broke them in and wore them a whole day at school and even prepared her ankles with bandaids in case of blisters. Not a good idea. Her ankles were shredded with broken blisters in one day. We waited a couple of days to wear them again and everything was fine, no blisters and the shoes were completely broken in. I am still surprised about that, but it was my only reason for deducting a star on comfort.

Very tight fit. Hard to pull on and resulted in three blisters after the first wearing. Once broken in, they are excellent but the first few days were rough.

Super hard to get on and off.

I bought these for my 9 year old who struggled to even get them on her feet, even though she easily fits lace up Vans in the same size. These looked cute, but ultimately we decided to return them since she hated trying to get them on her feet.
