These shoes year after year prove to be the most comfortable and best performing products on and off the field.

Its difficult to find baseball or softball shoes in wide widths. These are the best I've come across, and usually get a season or two out of a pair.

... but with that option gone, the 4040V5 will have to do. I am a soccer referee and several of my colleagues LOVE the 4040V4. These shoes are excellent on ALL surfaces. The white bottom (sole) of the V4 is preferred for futsal and finished wood surfaces ( futsal on a basketball court ). If you are a sports official, I highly recommend this product.

I use these for my sports teams I coach at the high school I teach at. They match our team colors and I always get compliments on them.

After my surgery I was laid up for 2 months when I was finally able to start walking, I walked 736 miles from May til Nov. my New Balance had great support. My 4040v5 turf shoes are a replacement of my other New Balance that I wore out. I will definitely buy again.
