I used for trail running and everything was good.

I have flat feet and plantar fasciitis. I was wearing the brooks but after a year, they are worn out and my foot pain has came back. I have a pair of the speedgoat 4 which are ok, but just not too fond of the way they look on my feet, plus my heels still hurt a little after work. I saw these and immediately loved how they look and the sole's didn't look huge and gawky so on a whim I decided to buy them and I am SO glad I did. Not only are they super cute, they are extremely comfortable after running around, standing for 12 hours straight! I had NO pain which was a complete shock for me. I HIGHLY recommend these shoes to anyone who suffers with foot pain, flat feet, or plantar fasciitis.

It's real comfortable and light weight

My absolute favorite pair of shoes for the gym or just running around town!

I tried 5 different pairs of sneakers over the course of my 2,580 mile thru hike on the PCT. These were the only shoes I fell in love with and purchased multiple times. I didn't love other Hoka's because some felt clunkly and lacked responsiveness due to their cushion. But the Evo Mafate has the perfect combination of support and performance to me. My feet felt supported and fast day after 30 mile day. These are not the only trail runners/hiking shoes I will buy. I only wish they would come out with some new less neon colors. Thank you Hoka!

Let me preface this by saying, the trails i log my miles on, aren't soft wonderful forest floors. I live in Hawaii, land of lava, so majority of the time I'm on Lava beds. These do the trick. I love the colors of Hoka, the brighter the better, I'm not into the black shoes or the super deep grays, so the blue and yellow did it for me. Ive logged a bunch of miles on these and the bottoms are starting to shave down as a result.currently I've had them for 9 months and am ready for my second pair. I just wish this came in more colors. i wear a size 8.5 but recently i bought a pair of arahi's for my road miles in a size 8 and they fit perfectly. i think this shoe fits fine,a little more roomy than i'd like, but taking it down half a size might be a bit to much.

I was suprised at the grip on these things. Very cushioney too.

I LOVED this shoe. The traction is very impressive, and these ride terrific downhill. I found myself turning in faster times due to how confident I felt in this shoe. However, I am recovering from a broken ankle, plus newly discovered arthritis in the top of my foot. Due to the flexibility in these shoes, after a few miles they ended up hurting my feet/ankles/shins. The more rigid ride of the EVO Speedgoat fits my needs better for now. Perhaps when I am all healed up I can wear these Mafate 2s. As a comparison to the Speedgoat these were a bit wider/looser of a fit, and the sole felt much more flexible. Many, many thanks to Hoka for their wear'em guarantee!! If I would not have been able to put some miles on these shoes, I would be out a lot of money, and stuck with a shoe I couldn't wear. I recommend Hoka One One everywhere I go, and will continue to buy from them. Also, these Mafate 2s worked very well when I got caught in an unexpected downpour. They never felt soggy or mushy and I never slipped on the trail.

My favorites were the Tor Ultra for 3yrs. They still have great tread but not as much as they used to. I needed some low tops and I tried many many shoes but none gave me the support that the Tor Ultra did. I try to walk 10 mi/day in parks, trails, and neighborhoods. I need good cushion and stability. These shoes are wonderful. My feet never hurt. I wear them all day everyday. I absolutely love them

I am very happy with my shoes. I had heard that the newer Hokas were a little narrower in the toe area but they fit me just fine. I have rain tested them and they're wonderfully waterproof. Using them for my daily trail run of about 1-2 miles.

I am no athlete. I do walk with friends and work out at my own pace. I love hoka one products but these shoes are perfect.

Great looking shoe out the box. Wore to work standing 9 hours feels great a lot support very comfortable. Very roomy could have got half size smaller I think but I'm keeping.
