My biggest complaint w/ Salomon has been poor durability. I've had Salomon footwear that didn't last a single season, they are prone to burst seams at the toes. But I've been wearing these daily for work since October (4 months) and they are still very solid. I train working dogs and average 10-15 miles per day, mostly on level terrain or indoors on hard concrete floors, as well as hiking with my own dogs. No break in period required and these are a light, nimble design. Not suitable for deep snow or serious terrain, but great for everyday work and play, early fall to late spring. I have two pair for work, so I don't have to get dog urine on my leather Whites or Red Wings. Highly recommend for a lower cost medium duty winter boot!

Omg these shoes are something else I would say there more slipper like They are so comfy it's like you have nothing on your feet as they're so light I wish I had these when I was working overseas years ago . Pls don't change the tan colour out for anything else There perfect as they are

I have been using this ones in park city (around -14C somedays) and they are super warm. Comfy and lightweight. I would definitely recommend this ones. Totally water proof as well.

I bought these as a gift for my partner for Christmas and he absolutely loves them. We do a lot of walking and he buys cheap versions that have to be replaced year on year and are not water resistant. I went for these as they have High Water Resistance and are a casual, lightweight style. He commented on how light and comfortable they are. Love Salomon products, I bought a pair to go travelling for a year and have never forgotten how comfortable and hard wearing they are. Definitely recommend.

Have had it for a couple of weeks now, and no complaints whatsoever, great for the advertised temperatures, can't go wrong with it.

Initially they were a bit tight, but after two hours of wear they began to feel better. I especially like the light weight of these shoes. My previous hiking boots where more like space boots, very heavy. These give the protection and comfort without excess weight. The lacing pattern is well done. Although these are completely synthetic my feet feel air comfort while walking.

With the Salomon Outblast winter boots, my 5km daily trek to the University of Manitoba, even on snowy trails, is manageable and safe. These boots deliver reliable warmth and comfort, keeping my feet dry at all times. On particularly icy days, when frozen puddles become treacherous, I can confidently add metal spikes for extra grip. All in all, these boots are fundamental to my secure and comfortable winter routine.

Really love this boot! I have foot problems and need very special shoes. These are warm and comfortable. Good looking too!

I clock a lot of milage in winter and I am on my second pair of these, but I got about 2000 km out of the first pair before the soles were too worn and tear developed in the one boot toe at 1600 km (that I patched with weather seal until my new pair arrivedI finally ordered a new pair). The boots had almost zero break in time when new, the same is true for the replacement pair. With the right socks I found these were OK for active outdoor activities well below -20C, but I would not recommend them for low activity use in temperatures below -10C. If I could make any suggestions it would be for a more resilient sole compound and perhaps a larger reinforced/rubberized region on the toe. I'm at about 900 km on the new ones and super happy with them.

I bought these boots for winter riding on my mountain bike and also winter commuting. I needed a lighter weight boot that wasn't too bulky to ride in. I was skeptical about how warm they'd be when I first saw them as they look very light weight. With a good pair of merino wool socks I have ridden down too -20 weather and my toes didn't get cold. Most of my riding has been in the -8 to -15 range and have had 0 issues. I also tested them out one day for a walk in -25 with good socks and my feet stayed warm. These boots have really impressed with how warm they keep my feet.

I have been using this shoe for over a month and I am pretty satisfied. Very warm, comfortable. The grip is decent, water proof is good too. Would recommend.

I purchased these boots a month ago and have spent the past week wearing them in South Dakota and Montana... let me tell you they are everything advertised. Very comfortable; like wearing sneakers, yet waterproof and they keep my feet warm in the snow and cold. Highly recommend these boots.

I bought these 3 months ago for the very variable winter weather of Calgary Alberta. I wanted a walkable, waterproof boot that would be still suitable for driving and not too warm for the warmer days but still decent when weather turned towards -20?C. So far the boot is proving to be exactly what I wanted. The only thing I would want to see changed is a sole compound and tread pattern that?s a little better on icy surfaces. The current sole is really poor in this one regard, but otherwise is good.
