I am coming up on two years with this fleece and I still wear it a lot. I live in upstate New York where the winters are very very cold and very windy and this is a warm piece individually in fall/spring and a great piece to a casual layer system. I'm kind of a fleece fanatic. I own some technical fleece for when I'm out hiking, snowshoeing or climbing and plenty casual ones like this for just hanging out. With the hood up I feel like a teddy bear. The material is soft against the skin and the pockets are enormous. Since the material has such a deep pile to it, you will notice over time that it will begin to look matted in some areas so be careful. There aren't many things to do do prevent or fix this but if you notice it beginning to mat, take a brush to it and actually brush it like hair. I use a boar bristle brush and it worked great, especially on the forearms where it was the worst. That's really my only gripe. I wish the nylon elbow patch extended to the wrist to prevent the matting. Make sure when you wash this you use a technical fabric cleaner like Nikwax or Grangers. The fabric is made of polyester and polyester is plastic so an ordinary detergent will not do. Overall I love this piece and look forward to wearing it for many years to come.

Great product. Just need to size up because it fits a little snug and not casual as specified

I received the wrong color but other than that the product was very comfortable and true to size. The pocket size are all handy but I felt that the pullover was a little to thin, I felt the breeze and cold through the hoodie. Have to double up on layers if it's too windy.

I made the mistake of using this product when it was warmer out (60-70 degrees F) and it was HOT inside of this hoodie. Now that it is in the 30-40 degree F range, this hoodie is much more suited for my daily uses, walking to and from class. It does provide a great deal of wind resistance in my opinion, although I living in the south right now (North Carolina). A lot of particulates (lots of dust) get into the fabric of this hoodie and it is hard to get them out without using an agitating top load washing machine. Unless you have a washing machine that can handle large amounts of torque for the drain cycle, use the wash setting with the lowest water setting because this hoodie will absorb ALL OF IT. DO NOT USE WITH DRYER SHEETS AND FOLLOW WASHING INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY.

If you are going to be using this jacket to stay warm then this jacket is definitely for you. It basically resembles a hug from the worlds nicest bear, that not only makes you feel warm but feel good as well.

Purchased cedar brown geo pattern. Elbow patches and front flap are navy and NOT brown as shown in photo. Would have preferred brown color as shown in photo. A star in rating approval deducted because of that.

Was a beautiful hoodie, but runs slightly small. I avidly buy Large Northface gear, and it all fits true to size. But this one was a bit snug. If you're any bit muscular/athletic this might apply to you. I recommend the Fleece jacket, it looks just as good and has a bit more room to move.

Its a great fleece but with a major sizing problem. I am 182 and I wear Medium almost 98% of my apparel. I bought Medium size and sleeves feel short and also fleece could be at list 5 cm longer down my waist.

Same as other reviews, this sweater stayed nice for about two months! After that, it has now clumped and everything. Would not buy again.

I struggle to find a warm cosy hoodie I can wear every day. This jacket fits my desire in that sense... only its aesthetics really degraded in matter of a 2 months. Its furry looks became more clumpy, it gathers all sorts of grains and really flattened in the lower back. I never washed it so it's not because I didn't follow the washing instructions. Otherwise, the hoodie fit as expected. I'm thin/athletic 5'10" and got a small one, it's a perfect fit. The fact that it doesn't unzip all the way is an inconvenient though, when taking public transport like subway for example where you need to take your bag off, your coat off, just to take the hoodie off because it IS really warm. Might be good for people that are always cold. So bottom line... Functionality is like a 10/10, super warm, super comfy (based on the fact that I consciously selected that did not totally unzip, my bad). Looks is a 3/10. At first it's great I mean it won't ever be a fancy shirt obviously but already know that buying this item: It scream homely comfort. Still it looks cool for it's style AT FIRST... until the "fur" flattens and clumps in the first few months. I'm just disappointed because I can't find a durable hoodie with those qualities

I've purchased three of these hoodies one for myself and two boys. They've all been used often, washed the same, well taken care of. However one of my sons looks like trash. The fleece is worn and looks like it's twenty years old not less than a year. For the high price I wouldn't recommend this warm fleece to anyone!

Purchased this for my son for Christmas. It was a specific request for him. He is 6'2" and weights 180 lbs. Purchased the Large, and it is too small. Nothing in stock now except XS and S. Very disappointing.

Don't get me wrong, this is a sweet fleece. It looks amazing. But with zero breathability and zero wind resistance, what can you actually use it for? Hiking? Nope: turns into a sweat lodge in thirty seconds. Hanging out? Nope: the slightest wind cuts straight through. There are no conditions you can wear the Campshire in for longer than a few minutes. It's the most impractical, useless piece of apparel I've ever purchased. I hate to say it. I've bought lots of North Face apparel I love, but the Campshire just doesn't cut it.

Used it once, washed it once, put it in the dryer on low temperature and pulled it out still damp and let air dry.. the fleece clumped together making it look very ugly and uncomfortable! Very disappointed with this sweater ...
