Overall these are great pants, but I would caution future buyers on color choice. The Fossil color is very light and is somewhat see through especially if working in and around water.. I would recommend these pants to others but would recommend different color. They do tend to run alittle small. These are convertible and run alittle tight where the leg zipper is located it seems as though is smaller around the thigh area where zipper zips off would recommend buyer sizer larger than normal.

These pants are super cute and look really good on. Water whicking fabric. Slightly smaller than expected.

I just bought these hiking pants and they are great. They are better in slightly warmer weather because they are fairly thin fabric. They have been very comfortable to hike around in and I would recommend them as a versatile pair! I did buy a size bigger (bought an 8, a 6 is my usual and they were very snug) than I normally wear and they are perfect.

I really like the fit and features of these pants. The one issue I do have is that I also ordered a pair of men's Silver Ridge Convertible pants for my husband at the same time and his came with a belt! What the hey! I guess women are just expected to put up with slights like this.

Two sizes too small. I am 5’8”, 146 lb and ordered up to a 10 per reviews, still too tight everywhere. Zipper area where pants convert to shorts is tight and restrictive, but may be ok in the right size.

I love these pants for outdoor sports. I play disc golf and have to go through bushes, water, trees, etc to get my discs (beginner). They are light weight, well made and good coverage. I can take the pant leg off to wade through shallow waters without getting my pants wet. I normally wear a size 4 pants, but I got 6 as they run a little small. Highly recommend

I'm 5'2" 107.6Lb and size 2 fits a little loose (it is the smaller size offered by Columbia) . But it is perfect on me because I'll use it ascending ecuadorean mountains. It takes many hours of hiking under the sun. Lightweight and confortable adventure pants.

I have just purchased these pants and they are really nice. This being my first pair of hiking pants, I don't have much to base these off of, but for the price, they are a wonderful option. These are perfect for both hiking and bouldering. Thinking about buying another color! 10/10

This is the 2nd pair I purchases - first one in tan. I had been searching for pants that zip off to shorts and am thrilled with these! There are also zippers vertically on the bottom so you don't need to remove your shoes.

I love to start a hike when it's cool in the morning. By noon, I can unzip the legs and just keep on going. Great light weight pant/short.

The material makes noise and wasn't very comfortable. The regular inseam was a bit longer than expected.

Yay, second time was the charm. I just wish that when I used the size chart and took my measurements the indicated size had fit me. Luckily the return process was straightforward. You have to pay for your own replacement and they'll credit you for the returned item at a later date. I'm not sure how long I'll have to wait for my refund, it's only been about a week. I love the pants, they're comfortable and practical.

I am very petite so I have had a lot of trouble finding pants in this style that fit me. These pants fit like a glove! The length and waist are just the right size for me (5'3 and 112lbs). I cannot wait to wear these camping.

Bought these pants for my work on the water (sailing instructor) and hiking - often times the weather on Lake Michigan changes quickly, so it's nice to be able to have long pants if it's a cool breeze then switch to shorts when things get hotter. Sizing wise, I bought a 12 (usually a 10) to give myself room in the thighs where the zipper is located - I'm glad I did! I'm 5' 7", 155lbs, big thighs - I needed the extra room. Having the ability the make the waist a touch smaller with the built-in adjustment in the waistband helped a lot with the fit too. The pants were a 'regular' inseam but would touch the floor with no shoes on - one wash and dry on low heat and they have shrunk a bit (no longer touching the floor) but luckily the leg width hasn't shrunk around the zippers. Looking forward to putting these pants through their paces, but so far I'm happy with them.

I just received my order so I can't really attest to the quality or function yet. I wanted to say that I would have ordered a size 6 based on the size measurements but after reading reviews I decided to order a size 8 so it wouldn't be tight. These are very loose and while I can still wear them with a belt I think the 6 would have fit perfectly. I am 5'4" 130lbs.

Bought my usual size 6 Tall. Great length but too tight in waist and crotch. I'm 5'7" 132 lbs. Wished it had more pockets, too. Material seemed good and zippers ok. Had to return, sadly. Strange because Columbia pants used to run a bit large on me, I thought. I think an 8 would have been too big.

I ordered a size 4 which runs large but I decided to keep it because it has an adjustable belt in the back which solved the size issue.

These feel great and have all techs I wanted on a hiking pant, but I'm pretty skinny and was expecting size 2 to fit better since other reviews said they ran small. Sadly, at 5.3 and 105 lbs, they were still big on me.

Got a size 6R, and the legs are about 5 inches too long. I'm 5'6", 122 lbs. I would exchange them for the short version but they're out of stock. Very odd sizing

When they arrived I was disappointed to find that the recommended size (according to the size chart and the measurements I took) was at least a size too small. I've ordered one size up and I think those will fit but we'll see.
