This is a smart and initially great fitting fleece however it does have significant flaws that is surprising and disappointing coming from arc'teryx.
1. The edge piping rolls up and the garment does stretch a bit and looks baggy after 5 or 6 wearings;
2. Not that wind resistant;
3. It is best worn next to the skin as the inner face seems to grip base layers - cotton, merino etc so when removing this fleece you end up taking your base layer off as well - not good when outdoors on the hill.
Based on the above, it has been relegated to casual wear outings only.
Not a patch on my many other arc'teryx purchases over the years.

This is a great fleece, love the stitching, colors, and clean detailing.
Unfortunately on mine the waist hem has curled up and won't flatten out.
The fleece has not been washed yet so I know that is not the issue.Will be returning and will update if there are any changes.

Really great all around fleece. Fits great, not too snug or too baggy. Took my usual Arc' size small (5'10" & 11.5st) fits perfect. Very comfortable, super soft lining. Love the look of it, perfect for hiking but also smart enough to wear daily, can't get me out of it!!

Bought this in binary heather recently, and am very happy with the fit and feel of this piece. I wear it primarily as part of my office wear, but will likely also use it as a layer once it gets colder. I can't speak to the longevity yet, but have already ordered a second in another color. For now, I'd definitely recommend it as a warm, casual piece that's good for the office and daily wear.

I got the Covert a month ago and am extremely happy with its fit, comfort. I have been hiking, golfing, skiing and living in this piece. It is perfect for Vancouver's wet cold feeling.
The material doesn't feel too hot but definitely keeps you warm on those brisk days.
The fit is a bit loose and allows me to bundle up, when needed.

This is my second covert, I have a 5 year old full zip. This new model is softer and cozier than the previous. My old one still looks good and hasn't faded nor piled. I'm hoping this one has the same longevity.
The exterior looks the same but is softer, as is the inside. It's softer next to skin. It is warmer and feels a bit thicker but not heavier.
It is a great technical sweater and looks great for going for a casual evening out.
This doesn't have pockets like my full zip but I really don't use them so this doesn't bother me.
The only issue I've found is that the bottom tends to roll up on the outside during the day.

I love everything about the Covert 1/2 Zip Neck fleece. I fits perfectly and makes an apparel statement I have come to expect from Arc'teryx.

Just purchased this as a mid layer for hiking and boy did it surpass my expectations. I'm the type of person to run hot in any activity and prone to lots of sweat. I took this sweater on a 14mile hike in 50F weather. I thought the sweater would be swampy by the 4-5mile mark, but to my surprise it was super dry. I've had wool sweaters before, but the breathability and moisture wicking properties of this product was spectacular.

I bought this for my boyfriend and he loves how warm and soft it is! It's more of a slim fit, but has enough room to move around and complete activities in.

Bought this last month in Boston. Great utility top, as a top layer now the VA weather is warming up, or a middle layer on those still chilly mornings.

I bought this to wear under my shell for the colder days. I wear it golfing and find it cuts 95% of the wind and didn't need the shell.

Bought this a couple of months ago - it's deceptively warm and fits really well. Looks great as well.

This is a perfect piece to use for both activities and everyday events. It looks sharp like as sweater, but not as frumpy as something that would as warm. Definitely a wardrobe staple. Perfect for travel as it is multi purpose. Hubby loves it. Slim fit, but not tight anywhere - all is in proportion.

Bought a little under a month ago. Since then it's done some good work racing between the wilderness of Somerset and trips to my office in London. Perfect all rounder

I have been a faithful Arc'teryx customer for over eight years and I recently purchased the Covert 1/2 Zip Fleece and it did not disappoint. The quality, fit and construction are excellent and now I am buying it in two more colors....there is none better !

I utilized the sizing chart for a 39" Chest and proper arm length. I am 6'1" and 185 lbs. It stated to order a Medium.
Once it came I was thrilled and how soft it was and how well made it appeared to be, but when I put it on, it fit as tight as a babydoll T-Shirt.
I was on a trip to Colorado and a Local Store had these in stock. I tried on a Large and it fit properly.
I returned the Medium, but bought two colors of the Covert in that Colorado Store. I love them!

I'm 5'11 and 165 lbs and own a medium in Tui Heather.
Greate fit. The gusseted underarms add a lot to comfort and mobility. The face of the material looks like wool and the interior is very soft. Compared to other popular half-zip fleeces on the market, this is less bulky in fit and fleece weight. This makes it great for layering, in terms of fit and temperature regulation.
The only downside I've noticed is that the bottom tends to rollup in the front. But this wouldn't stop me from recommending or purchasing again.

Just bought this to travel to the mountanis with, on route I've had a city break and a few extra days at home with the family in France, it has hardly been off my back. Rain, shine, cool or cold, it is a real asset. Thanks.

Just received my covert 1/2 zip a few weeks ago and have worn it several times. I absolutely love it. It is so warm and comfortable and is so versatile in how it can be worn. It looks like a wool sweater but feels soft like fleece.

I got this for Christmas and I must say I have worn it every day since then. It is incredibly cozy for cold mornings when I first get up. The inside fleece material feels great against your skin. Then it just great for cruising around outside during the day in the 30-40 deg F range with a light base layer underneath. It also works great for lounging around inside as well. It really does a great job at breathing and regulating one's temperature. Size medium works great, 5'9" 170 lbs athletic build.
