They are comfortable with good support and cushioning. My only negative is the sole of the shoe has such tiny groves that all kinds of little stones and debris get stuck in the tread, which brings the dirt into the house.

The shoe is light and very comfortable. Given the fabric upper, it has less support than I desire but I should have considered that more during selection. Perhaps the leather upper would be better suited to my particular needs. The shoe seems to reduce the pronation moment during walking but in doing so may promote prolonged supination. I am an older adult, female walker with some underlying structural foot issues so my experience likely does not reflect the typical user.

Love the style, look and the feel is perfect. My feet can breath and I can walk miles and miles. I've only had the shoes two weeks and my only concern is the light colored fabric and these are going to start looking looking pretty dirty before they wear out.

I order a half-size up based on my first pair of Brooks (Ariel) a few years ago, and that continues to be the right size. Because these are suede, I expect they will stretch out more than my full leather Addiction Walkers, so am planning to use thicker socks if that happens. I would always go for tie shoes, not straps in the Walkers to make sure I can be secure in them. For several years, I have needed anti pronation lasts and am satisfied that is what I am getting when Brooks describes the shoe as such.

Great walking shoe. I have been using for a few weeks and they provide good support and comfort. They are more attractive than the some of the older style walking shoes, so I tend to wear them more.

Good looking shoe. Not enough arch support for me. Sadly had to return for a running shoe

These are really nice shoes. They are good looking, supportive, and comfortable. The shoe accommodates my orthotics well. I have worn Brooks shoes for a long time and have been pleased with them on the whole. This pair runs short. My big toe bumps the end of the shoe. I am returning them and ordering a half size larger.

So, they're pretty ugly. They look made more for a man than for a woman, and that's my one big complaint about these shoes. Otherwise, they're perfect. The fit is right, and I can walk a long time in them. As someone who has suffered from plantar fasciitis and its complications, these are well build and supportive with my orthotics.

Shoes fit great right out of the box. I'm a walker that really needs good arch support so these shoes were a good match for my needs. Since I wear orthotics I have to take out the insert but still feel like there is good cushion under my feet.

Loved the look of this Walker. So disappointed they don't come in Narrow. Although I have long (11.5) feet they are narrow (2A). The Brooks Addiction Walker that I've had about 3 yrs are 11.5 AA. They have always been very comfortable. But wanted a more nice looking walker like Addiction Suede, not like Orthopedic :) Note: I think they may run a little short also.

I CAN?T FAIRLY RATE MY NEW ADDICTION WALKERS BECAUSE I HAVEN?T WORN THEM YET. I AM A HUGE FAN OF THE LEATHER ADDICTION WALKERS AND HAVE PURCHASED SEVERAL PAIRS OVER THE YEARS. I AM VERY HAPPY TO FIND THE SHOES PRODUCED IN A MORE ATTRACTIVE FINISH AND LOOK FORWRD TO WEARING THEM IN THE SPRING. I EXPECT THEM TO PROVDE THE SUPPORT AND CONDITIONING THT THE LEATHER MODELS PROVIDE.

Although the size and width were great, the shoe was stiff to the extent that my foot hurt after walking a short distance. There was also a problem with the right inside of my left shoe pushing in on my foot. The problem could be that individual shoe as the right foot was fine, or it could be my foot. In any event, I will be returning shoes.

Thank you Brooks for making an Addiction Walker that does scream "Orthopedic Shoe"! I've never been willing to wear the other Addiction walkers because they were so ugly, but this model is pretty nice looking. It is a very comfortable shoe, but it runs small. I wear an 8 in the Addiction 14 running shoe, but had to go up to an 8.5 in this one.

The fit and size was good and they are comfortable but I'm returning them anyway. They seriously lack style and while I've not seen many "stylish" shoes for walking, these definitely don't fit my idea of comfort over style.

You need a half size up when getting this shoe. I thought I'd be able to wear my orthotics in these but I need NEUTRAL shoes and these are MAX Support. Didn't realize this til going to the Brooks website directly. So if you're looking for NEUTRAL shoes these aren't it.

The Addiction Walker Suede has the same sole and insole as the Addiction Walker but the upper is wrapped tighter and slightly more pointed than the Addiction GTS. This difference in the upper shape causes the shoe to fit slightly tighter around the toes and therefore I recommend going a half size up from your normal Addiction GTS size. I have the new Addiction GTS and the non GTS versions and they function very differently with the non GTS shoes having less support around the heel and also being slightly smaller and tighter on the toes. If you order a half to a full size up these will be comfy all day walking - they are not really a running shoe at all.

I normally wear the Adrenaline so thought I would try this walker. Ordered the same size as usual but the width felt smaller and the toe box area was too tight. Think I would like to try a ghost next or back to my original style...still love my BROOKS!

Have only had these a couple months. They are my dog walking shoes. The cushion on the back of the right shoe has bunched all up to form a ball that I have been unsuccessful at making normal again. Disappointing.

I wanted a basic walking shoe that I could keep in my office for my lunchtime walks- -these are not the shoes for me as they run short. WHY do brands have to run so inconsistent.

Overall, the shoes seem like they will work out for me. I like the color and style. However, they seem a bit stiff. One seems looser than the other in the heel. One of tongues seem shorter than the other, and the shoe laces are almost too short. The front part is wide enough to be comfortable.

I love the shoe style and feel except this she must run small. My toes are cramped. I always buy 9.5 size Brooks shoe but this time the size is too snug. Because I never have problems like this with Brooks which I buy religiously, I wore them outside on a long walk before I realized they were too small. So now I am stuck with them. I guess I will go back to the prior style shoe I have always ordered.

A bit too small, returning for the pair I have now. I just wish that the shoes had the loop thing in the back to help get shoes on.
