Shoe feels a slight bit smaller and more narrow than I expected, but, not enough to return or swap. They are still comfortable. I would buy again

Love the feel and control of the trail with the Pure Grit 8. I truly felt connected to the earth beneath my feet. Very natural, comfortable feel all day long!

I've had the Cascadia before for trail running, so I thought I'd try these. Admittedly so I'm using them for work, but they are VERY comfortable!

I like this shoe's feel. It's not to floaty. Feels fast. Very durable and water proof.

Shoe does slip a bit in the heel but overall a good trail running shoe!

These are my first pair of trail runners and I am very pleased. They were everything I hoped for and more. I run (happily) Brooks Ghost 12 in the street and the PureGrit 8 4mm drop is much better for trails than the street optimized Ghost 12mm drop. Pure Grit is and feels lighter and more stable as advertised. I am surprised how much I like the reduction in impact isolation. I am a woods lover who has avoided running trails for over a decade because of increased injury risk perceived by ankle roll potential. Now I know I can take on new trail adventures, run and/or hike with my new surefooted PureGrit 8s. Thanks Brooks!

I have been using this shoe for trail running and Peak bagging all summer. So much so that I wore out my first pair and just bought my second. Light weight shoe with fantastic grip. After about the second time out in them I had full confidence in my traction on steeper terrain. Only con is the very thin cushion in the heel. I plan to add an insert in this second pair.

The PG line of trail shoes have been my favorites since the inception. Been the max cushioning route but I got tired of the lack contact & proprioception. PG's provide enough cushioning & ground feel.

I've been wearing pure connect design shoes for years and will continue as long a you make them. I tried another design in June and it took most of July to recover. The PureGrit 8 trail are awesome. comfortable lightweight, allows me to feel the ground and adjust immediately. Very comfortable, flexible, with adequate grip when the trails get muddy.

Fantastic shoe, easily my favorite trail shoe I've ever had. Not only is it very comfortable on all types of terrains, it is a great casual shoe as well. I've only had them for a few weeks, but they also seem very durable, and dirt and grime come off easily.

Order a size large! I normally wear a 12, and the 13s for me perfectly. These are the most comfortable light trail shoes I've had. I'm currently training for a half marathon and have occasional issues with plantar fasciitis and ankle pain. Both have improved with these shoes.

I used the Brooks app to select the Grit 8's. They arrived quickly and feel great. The sizing was consistent with my Ghost's. You can definitely feel what's beneath you while still providing support and cushion. I've subsequently ordered a second pair.

Best running shoe I've ever had! They breath well, they are lightweight, and yet they still offer enough cushion to pound out some mileage.

Super happy with this shoe! Running 15-20 miles in the woods each weekend with no issues whatsoever. Seems like there's legitimately better protection from pointy rocks in this version than in past ones, without losing a sense of connection to the ground.

I bought these for my dad for his recent 3-week trip to Wyoming and he LOVED them. He said they were so comfortable, he didn't even have to break them in before going on hikes in them.
