I took my Whirlybird jacket skiing last week. Temperatures were in the low teens at the start of the day. I don't like being cold so I was counting on the gear to help. The jacket kept me toasty warm and dry even after all my spectacular crashes into the snow. When it warmed later in the day, I liked being able to shed a layer of the jacket and still stay waterproof. Overall, outstanding jacket. I am 5'7 125 and the medium jacket fit me great.

I love this coat. I definitely need some extra layers under it when the weather is below freezing but so far it has kept me warm in down to 15F and has a great fit and tons of pockets.

Haven’t actually seen the look. It was a present. Already received a solid happiness report. Coat went out on a walk about hours after it was delivered.

This is a beautiful coat with plenty of detail adding to it's function as well as fashion. The hidden zippers are an asset to function for storage as well as comfort. Modestly priced for such a quality, versatile, jacket.

It's a great coat, I feel like I am between sizes large and xlarge in columbia outerwear and the xlarge was too big in this coat so I will be exchanging for Large. I love all the pockets.

I love it. The color is awesome, as is the zip out inner lining. 3 jackets in one! The additional features (the reflective lining, extra zippered pockets) are also amazing.

Very beautiful coat - the flowers look more purple in person, and almost iridescent against the navy. The zip-out liner to make two coats is very useful. And it is very warm!

Perfect size and keeps me warm in the frigid temperatures. I've loved past Columbia jackets but this one is the best yet with the outer shell protection from wind. I would highly recommend this for anyone living in cold climates.

I bought this jacket for being active outside in the cold, and I am so excited about the venting. Runs true to size, with room for layering underneath. The sleeves and body are long on me, but I'm a pretty small person, so it seems like it would be good for most others. The functionality and warmth are definitely great. Will be using this for winter hiking and snowshoeing very soon.

My daughter loves it. She is a petite 15 year old, bought it for snowmobiling. Size M, will work great with hoodie under layer and a little room to grow.

I love this jacket! It fits great and is comfortable. I really like the inside synthetic jacket as well! Great ski jacket option and converts if it's warmer outside. I recommend it!

I've worn this jacket in Norway in 0C weather and it has kept me warm and dry! I'm someone that is cold very easily and this is the first jacket that has kept me warm while in the cold for a long period of time. It is super comfy and lightweight and fit me really well, I would however recommend to size down. I bought a size S at first and it was way too big! XS was perfect! Also beware that you need to detach both jackets to be able to use the features for skiing. I would additionally say that the down jacket is very warm and isn't super breathable so for intense hiking I had to take that layer off. I would therefor recommend this jacket as a winter jacket for walking in the cold for long periods of time! When I go skiing I will only use the shell!

Both outer & inner layers are light, warm & easily removed. Excellent jacket for cold (with the jacket inside) & warmer weather skiing (if you only wear the shell). Fits great, size Medium gives me room for undelayers. Shell is beautiful and covers my rear so well! Shafer Canyon pants go so well with the Dark Nocturnal Folk Blur print.

Definitely a show stopping jacket. Chest area was a little tight so definitely size up.

This is the warmest jacket I have ever purchased. It's 3 in oneand have worn each piece separately as well as together!

For reference, I have been using this jacket for Pittsburgh winters and not for any snow sports. I bought the color Dark Nocturnal Folk Blur and I like how it looks different from the standard jacket colors of black, brown, and red. I also like how you can use separate the jackets (e.g., I can wear both outside but then wear the inner jacket at work). The jacket also does a wonderful job at repelling snow/rain. I bought this in large and it fit perfectly. Here are my measurements for reference: Height: 5' 3" Weight: 170 lbs Bra size: 38B Body type: Pear-shaped

I absolutely love this coat. It is so warm! Each piece separately can suit so many weather conditions and then together when it really gets cold. The color is awesome too. The inside layer is very bright pink/red so it is almost like wearing safety colors when worn without the outer shell. The multicolored outer shell does not show dirt either. There are enough pockets for everything and the zipper closures keep it all safe.
