FINALLY found the shoe that works for me! I suffer from Plantar Facsiiatis in both feet (we're talking get out of bed in the morning and can hardly waddle to the bathroom kind of pain)! Wish I'd found the Shoe FInder tool on the Brooks website sooner (and so does Zappos after the MANY, MANY shoes I've tried and returned). Well worth the couple of minutes it takes to complete the tool - you end up with two or three Brooks shoe recommendations for the style that's right for you - I'm a neutral walker, no knee or ankle issues who needs cushion, especialy in the heel area, walk about 3 miles daily. The Revel 3 was one of the recommendations for me (Brooks also recommended the Ghost 12 and the Launch 6 as two others that might work). So I came back to Zappos armed with the styles I needed to try and ordered both the Revel 3 and the Ghost 12. Bothshoes were pretty equal in comfort and performance, but I liked the style of the Revel 3 a little better, so went with it. People - I am telling you these shoes are like walking on a cloud! I put them on when I get out of bed that's how good they feel on my feet!! No more heel pain after walking. Highly recommend them!!

When will the ugly sweater (knitted) sneaker trend go away? These are great shoes except for the knitted material on the top part. I'm sure people with wide feet or bunions appreciate that stretchiness to accommodate their feet. However, if you're doing any lateral movements or need your feet to stay securely in place (stability), these are not it. The knitted top part of the shoe is stretchy and your foot will slide around a lot.

Note that I'm reviewing these for the use they were intended - distance running. I tried the Revel because the Launch has drastically changed with the newest version and I noticed Brooks changed the Revel a lot and brought down the price. They have ok flexibility and I like the smaller drop (8mm), although I don't really feel they have more cushioning than the Launch, they're just less flexible and less engineered for speed. But the fit is much better - these have the same great fit I've always gotten from Brooks but which seems to have been lost in the Launch 6. So wear these if: you're looking for a little extra cushioning and don't care as much about speed, or if you like a more glove-like fit to your shoe (not tight at all, just feels secure), or if, like me, the Launch doesn't work for you anymore. I probably will not use these for marathon (or any other) racing or speed work, but they're ok for general training at all distances. I used them on a 11-mile tempo run and they weren't too bad, I just missed the "energize" feature of the Launch.

The toe box is very, very narrow! I have a slim foot, so wide shoes are too large at the heel, but due to a medical condition, I require a roomy toe box. These are definitely not roomy. I'm including a comparison of basic Nike's (same size 7.5 and both regular width) and you can see what a big difference it is.

I usually wear 8 and 1/2 but in Brooks I was by size 9. I really like these shoes. I use them for the gym. I do weights, spin class, ellipticals, treadmills. The shoe works well with all these.

I own a pair of Brooks Launch 5’s, Launch 6’s, and Levitate 2’s. This is my first Revel and it is very similar in fit and comfort to the Launch ‘s. I wear a size 7 in the models mentioned above and ordered a 7 in these. At first they felt a bit narrow in the toe box and I thought I would need to go up a half size but after 30 minutes or so of wear the toe box started to stretch a bit and was very comfortable. I like the classic black and white color goes with everything.

I recently purchased the Brooks Ghost 12 shoe and I thought I'd try the Revel to see how it compared. I really like the Ghost 12. After comparing the two, I find the Revel to be too 'flat'. It has an 8 mm drop vs the Ghost 12 has a 12 mm drop. Both are super comfortable, but the difference in drop does make a difference. The Revel feels more like wearing your house slippers and after awhile of wearing them there just isn't quite enough support. I like the shoe, but will be returning it and sticking with the Ghost 12. I purchased the Ghost 12's at a local shoe store, but I'll be ordering more colors from Zappos. Zappos is awesome!

These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever tried on, ran in & walked in (on hard concrete) in my entire life! I They are so plush, like waking on clouds, but still offer perfect support & stability. I totally love these shoes!!!!! Thank you Brooks Revel 3, for being you. ? These shoes are now my new absolute favorite.

These shoes are very comfortable. The Brooks brand, in my experience, has always been good. I have a high arch and these offer plenty of support. I did a bit of research on the Brooks website to help to find a pair that matched what I wanted. I recommend the shoe finder on their website. I got the black pair, so they go with everything. A good shoe!

These shoes are my third pair of Brooks. I normally wear an 8 or 8 1/2, but the size 9 seems to be just right for me. I have a pair of gray Brooks and wanted to replace them. Could not find the exact replacement, but these work well. Took them to Disney with me last week. Right out of the box, felt great! We walked between 6-7 miles a day. It was hot every day, but my feet didn't seem hot, and never hurt. I have knee and lower back aches from time to time, but no issues this trip! Very satisfied with all Brooks athletic shoes I've purchased, and these might be the best ones yet! Love Brooks!!

They fit perfect! I have plantar fasciitis in my left heel so no shoe is perfect for me, I put my inserts in and they help a bit. Overall I really like these shoes as shoes are hard for me to find that don’t hurt my feet.

Ok so I ordered a half size larger...my mistake, but am looking forward to getting my usual size 6. Gorgeous shoes... I am picky about shoes so these will be a favorite for sure! I saw a lady at my hair salon who had these shoes on... can't wait! Just one little thing in the middle of the Virus... hope all of you will stay safe and well!!!

Rockin' the Christmas spirit, I love the design of these shoes. I hadn't tried this model before but they looked comfy. I was not disappointed, they are super comfortable. I have both a high instep and a high arch, this style accommodated both.

Very low arch support. No where near the support of my Adrenaline’s. Definitely a comfortable shoe though. Toe is very breathable. A super cute shoe, but will not be good for exercise for me. I will probably wear it for shopping or around the house. For a girl who is 6 foot and wears a size 12, it’s pretty hard to find a cute shoe. ?

Disappointed in these shoes because the toe box is narrow. Brooks tend to run wider than most brands, but these are not wide. If you are okay with having your toes pressed together just a little bit, these might be okay for you. I'm really picky and have been on the hunt for shoes that have a lightly cushioned sole with plenty of room for my toes to be comfy.

I LOVE these shoes! I bought a pair for my daughter and then decided to try for myself. I have difficulties with athletic shoes and these are perfect! Comfy and cute! I’m 60 and I walk everyday. They are the best!!!

I have been an avid fan of Brooks Adrenaline series for years (have 8 pairs that I refuse to rid of) but a couple years ago they lost me with their redesign and price increase. This year I ordered this shoe (Revel 3) and Adrenaline GTS 20. One was to be my every day shoe (Revel) because color; the other my dedicated treadmill shoe (Adrenaline). Boy was I surprised, Brooks own shoe finder consistently choses Adrenaline, but the Revel 3 is 100% better. Ran in the Revels the first day and am hooked. The Adrenalines are going back while the Revels are on my feet. Looking to pick up another pair because they are just THAT good for me. For me, the Revels provide cushion throughout my foot, especially along the sole. The toebox is generous compared to Adrenaline. They do get a bit hot so if that's something you can't live with, you may want to consider another shoe. Some notes, just like all Brooks and many other running shoes, they run about a half size small, so if this is your first set, keep it in mind. For instance, I wear 8-8.5 in nearly all footwear, but I wear a 9 in Brooks. The Revel, just like the Adrenaline, are for medium to high arch, so you will feel that support if your past shoes didn't have it (and it will likely be uncomfortable until you get used to it). I use the shoe as is, but the inner is removable if you need an insole.

Wear an 8-8.5 in most shoes but Nike and Brooks running shoes I wear a 9.5. This 9.5 fits with about a 1/4” to spare. If I was still a runner I’d want a 10. For walking these are perfect!

I have a pair of Ghost 11 in size 7 1/2 (fit but should've went for an 8) and Launch 6 in size 8 (fit perfect). The Revel 3 in size 8 were smaller than the Ghost 11 in 7 1/2 - I even measured the bottoms. I returned them for an 8 1/2. They are the first pair of shoes in my life that I've needed an 8 1/2. Once I got the right size, I love them. They are very cushiony and comfortable.

This would have been my 3rd pair of Revel's. Sadly I am returning them. They seem significantly smaller then the last 2 pairs I purchased last year. Loved the fabric, color and style of these.

Size & fit was great but little to no arch support.

These shoes are great. Super lightweight, flexible and comfortable. You don’t feel weighed down when wearing them, the fabric of the shoe is soft and breathable. The fit is true to size; I bought a 7.5 and they’re perfect. Support of the shoe is also very good.

Felt a little snug. Would order up a half size more then the usual. But the cushioning is really comfortable for my runs. Would buy again

Finally! My podiatrist recommend me to get running shoes. Even though, I am not a runner, I was looking for a comfortable and good quality shoe that allowed me to walk for fun, run my errands and be on my feet many hours. I have tried different brands, styles and even Brooks styles and sizes. These are the ones! Thank you Zappos for bearing with me and my troubled feet.
