I've been struggling to find the right pair of Brooks lately, sadly these were not it. I like a cushioned runner. I'm 5'6" and about 175. I distance run, half marathons/full marathons. I typically road or treadmill train. I loved the Glycerins a few years ago, when those stopped working for me I decided to try the Ghost model based on the shoe finder. I find the size to be a great fit with plenty of room in the toe box, but after 3 miles, I start to get shin splints in these. Ultimately, I returned them. I'm trying the Adrenalines now and those are working better for me.

I like the waterproof aspect of this shoe, but it's quite stiff, and less comfortable than the regular Ghost shoe.

They hunt my feet. I buy lot of your shoes tell people how good my feet feel but not the ghost 12GTX.

My shoes squeak when u wear them help please very annoying

I don't like the plastic in the inside. Makes noises when you walk.

I hated these shoes. They were super uncomfortable and my feet felt sore on the back of them. Returned them immediately

REALLY comfortable, but noisy. Would have gotten used to the noise as long as they lived up to being waterproof. Sooo disappointed. Less than 10 minutes in a heavy rain this morning and the shoes were waterlogged. You would think that the material of a waterproof shoe would repel wetness. But the material on the Ghost GTX actually absorbed and retained the wetness to the degree that the shoes got heavy and I felt the water shloshing in them. The water pooled in the bottoms of the shoes and I poured out between 1/4 to 1/3 of a cup of water when I took them off. Was so looking forward to having a waterproof running shoe. ....But they were really comfortable otherwise. My Adrenalines did better than these in the rain. Got wet but not heavy and didn't have pooled water in them when I took them off. Talked with customer service this morning already on their way back as a return. Keep working on them. Looking forward to a truly waterproof running shoe.

Tighter than my Ghost 10 & 11 and they make a funny squeaky noise when I walk around in them. I am sending them back and would like to purchase a regular 12 but only weird colors left to choose from. I will need to go to another brand as I waited too long and my shoes are worn out. Sad...

These shoes are super small for the size. They are very stiff and click when you walk. Need a new pair of shoes but I now have to wait 2-3 more weeks for the return because of COVID-19. Wish they had this color in other styles!!

It's a nice shoe overall, but I don't like it nearly as much as previous Ghost versions. The back of the heel isn't as comfortable as the Ghost 10, since there is a piece of fabric. It also makes a funny sound as the insole seems to stick to my foot. Hopefully the next version will be closer to previous ones.

I only wear Ghost sneakers. This is my first GTX. I bought them because they look great! They feel good. What's up with the noise? Both shoes make noise when I walk. Sounds like it's the lining. I work in healthcare. I can't walk around my office in these squeaky shoes! They're going back and I'll just buy the regular Ghost 12.

Way too firm for me. The quality seems fine but I will not be running in them. I have a hip injury and the ghost 12 actually made it worse.

The toe box was more narrow than my regular Ghost 12s. Every time I took a step the shoes would make a clicking/popping noise. The overall show was not as comfortable as the other Ghost 12s.

I purchased 2 pairs of Women's size 8 1/2 Ghost 12 GTX and returned both. Both seemed to be defective. Underfoot cushioning was very hard, unsupportive, and seemed warped in a way that caused foot strain within one mile of running. My Ghost 11 GTX cushioned and supported my feet perfectly, but soles are now wearing out. My Ghost 12 non-GTX also have perfect cushion and support. I hope this problem with GTX is corrected soon since all prior GTX (11, 8?, 6) have kept my feet dry And comfortable in cold wet weather! The one star is for the very attractive color combination.

The fitting was uncomfortable. Sent back to store.

I have 10+ pairs of brooks and never change sizes or widths. This one was incredibly narrow and very uncomfortable. Also the pictures online look better than it does in person. Very displeased and disappointed.

I returned them. I only wear Brooks shoes. Glycerin and ghost. These were poor quality and noisey. When you walked they clicked. I have a very high arch and plantar fascitis and can only wear Brooks shoes. I wear a 7.5 but in Brooks I wear a 8. I ordered 8 in these and they were tight and smaller than usual.
