Narrower and shorter than my Ghost 11 of the same size. I returned.

It is true what they say - 1/2 size smaller.

Although these shows are great for some people and did feel comfortable on my feet while walking and exercising-- they made my plantar fascitis flare up the worst it has in 15 years. I am in so much pain...going back to my old Brooks style -- should have stuck with those rather than trying something new.

The shoes came damaged- someone had clearly tried them on, broke the lace hook on the tongue of the shoe and returned them. Zappos didn't bother to check the shoes before reselling them. When I called, the CSR was sarcastic, and spoke over me the entire call. I asked to speak to another CST & he talked over me through that. He ended up putting me on hold but I never got through to another agent. Zappos is showing their Amazon, and it's not pretty. What a shame. The shoes themselves are great- just be sure to buy them through a *local* running retail store.

I’ve had these shoes for a couple months and while they aren’t the most comfortable Brooks I’ve owned, they were ok for my plantar fasciitis with an extra insert. However....the toe guard is starting to wear through the fabric and make a hole in it (see picture). Thanks to Zappos amazing service for making this right - this is why I always choose Zappos! ?? I will try a different style of Brooks and hope for a better outcome.

These sneakers are very uncomfortable all the the design and colors were nice I cant keep them just because they look good!

I had high hopes for these shoes based on the reviews. After a couple of days of wearing them I started having back pain, then knee pain. I didn't connect the two until I had to wash them and used my old shoes for few days. My pain disappeared. Put the new shoes back on, immediate back and knee pain again. Alot of money for these shoes that will end up in the garbage. :(

I've been wearing Brooks "Ghost" shoes for years, always the same size, arch support, etc. About 6 weeks ago, I bought two pairs of Brooks Ghost 12 and have had ongoing problems. Straight out of the box, they were comfortable and I have been wearing them around the house because of COVID 19 stay at home orders. They are no longer comfortable! The arch support didn't last; the overall support didn't last; I've developed a callus on one big toe. Because they have been worn, I cannot return them per Zappos policy. So I am out $285 for 2 pairs of shoes I can no longer wear. I DO NOT recommend purchase of Brooks Ghost 12's. Lousy waste of money.

Received a defective shoe. The right shoe footbed bulged out at the ball of the foot. I thought they may need broken in (I've never had to "break in" Brooks) so i tried to wear them a few times while walking on my treadmill and OUCH! Put on my old Brooks and no problem at all. Returned them, currently waiting on refund. These are too expensive to be defective....

So I tried these on in the store but they didn't have my size. In the store, they were so soft. I got these. They sat at room temp for a day then I tried them on. HARD. Not comfy at all like the Ghost 12's I tried on. I bought the turbulence/grey/desert colored ones on Zappos that were hard. But I tried on the peacoat/blue/aquas in store that were softer. Ended up returning these on Zappos. Just not the shoe I was expecting to receive.

It's not about the toe box... I actually didn't have a problem with the toe box on the 11s, but what I do have a problem with in the 12s is that the sole is a bit thinner and softer, and makes a big difference as you can feel almost everything on the front of the shoe. Returning.

I loved the look of these and although I have been buying Brooks for years I was really disappointed. My main problem is that the depth of the shoe in the ball/toe area is much smaller. I have been wearing Ghosts for years and have had no problem fitting in my lift and orthotics. I could hardly close the laces. I wish Brooks wouldn't mess with a good thing.

I "hope" this review is only specific to the color: Navy/Majolica/Beetroot. I cannot believe the material that was used for this sneaker (and yes, I have had Ghost sneakers before, both 10's (LOVED) and 11's (meh).) It is sooo stiff I decided not to even try it as it seems it would blister my toes or the top of my feet immediately. The sneaker also was a bit smaller/shorter than all my other Brooks Ghosts. So, that combination, I was weary to even try. Again, not sure what they were thinking and I actually ordered another color because it looks like the material is potentially different in the pictures. The actual sole felt great. I have been waiting for weeks for a new sneaker for running. I was so disappointed.

I love Brooks and Brooks Ghost. I also love the Kentucky Wildcats. Dear Brooks, “Kentucky blue” is a royal blue. It is NOT a North Carolina blue. This is blasphemy. I’m not sure I can ever purchase another pair of Brooks.

Not very stylish on my feet. Very disappointed in the lack of cushioning. I will return.

These are cool shoes- great colors. Zappos sent me a size 10 in a size 10.5 box- need a 10.5 pair of shoes and not a 10.5 box and a 10 shoe. Ordered a replacement but still processing after close to a week. Online chat not so helpful . Leaving town and have no idea when my shoes are coming, or by what delivery method, so now I am in a bind as my shoes will arrive at my house when I am not here- so giving 1 star not because of the shoes, but because of the service. It's unusual for Zappos.

What happened? I’ve been wearing Brooks Ghosts since the Ghost 8s and these feel so different? Now what?!

Too small. Loved how they looked

I really wanted these shoes to work! I wear orthotics which fit in perfectly after I removed the insole but after a couple hours of wearing my feet felt like they were being squeezed. I need a wide toebox and these are just not quite wide enough. I've always worn New Balance but for the last several years those have not fit well either because the toebox is narrower. IT'S SO FRUSTRATING! I've switched to Hoka One One and walked miles after taking them out of the box.

The Brooks Ghost 12 has a smaller toe box and width then the Brooks Ghost 11. There is a plastic over shoe lace eyes that makes which is unappealing. Very disappointed of quality.

I have had 2 pairs of Ghost 11. These ghost 12 run smaller .....I tried another pair prior and thought it might be just THAT shoe. Ordered another pair, and the fit is same.....smaller! Sending back!
