The shoe is roomy in the toes, which is great, gives your toes room. I bought two pairs, because I like the comfort, I also have to put supports inside of the shoe for my tendonist in my one foot. I walk 3 to 6 miles every day and I am 80 years old.

I bought these thinking that they would be similar to the 19s but NEW and IMPROVED. Instead it seems like a completely different shoe. 1) It feels like less shoe, less sturdy. 2) The back is lower so if u wear heel supports in your shoes, you’re too high. 3) The last seems narrower-I feel more like my foot is teetering on top of the base of the shoe. I have a problem foot, and these 20s shoes make it hurt. I’m sorry I bought them, I just got another pair of 19s before there are completely gone.

I was so thrilled to see some non-ugly EEs from Brooks. I have been wearing Adrenalines since the 12 and they were perfect. Now? Not at all. I bought the 19s a few weeks ago, and while the width was perfect, the toe box is too narrow. I went on a long walk, and by the end I could barely walk from the pain. The same is unfortunately true for the 20s. Same toe pain after walking. I can't believe I have to return another pair of Brooks. I'm so sad, and am trying to find a comparable shoe. Looks like this is good-bye, Brooks.

I sadly have to give the Adrenaline 20s a bad review. I love my Adrenaline 18s but the time had come to replace them, so I ordered my usual size 8. They felt too big but I shrugged it off as just a new style with a wider toe box than previously. Then I compared them side by side to my 18s and they are noticeably bigger. They also feel like cheaper quality, especially the laces which actually stretch as you tie them, so there's no way to get a good snug fit. I swapped out my old laces to try to make them work which I shouldn't have to do when I'm paying $130 for a pair of shoes. I'm returning them for a smaller size but also going to look into other brands.

my therapist recommended these for me after suffering a bad fall and injuring my knee. Now I can only wear adrenaline shoes as they support my alignment and help prevent knee and hip pain. I highly recommend them, i think everyone should wear Brooks

This review is for the Brooks Adrenaline GTS 20. I was nervous to order the new version because my GTS 19 shoes are such perfection. But Brooks have done it again! This new model is equally perfect. They removed the decorative stripes on the sides of the GTS 19 so now the new version looks so sleek and comes in great color combinations. The comfort, stability and support are amazing. I’m looking forward to many miles in my new sneakers. Thank you,Brooks

I typically wear the ASICS GT-2000 series, but decided to give these a try. I have tried previous versions of the Brooks Adrenaline GTS series before, but always ended up returning them because my narrow heel made me feel like I was going to slip out of the shoe. This is not the case with the 20! Virtually no heel slippage! Compared to my ASICS GT-2000s, this shoe has more arch support, more cushion (even makes me feel like I have a spring in my step), more stability with the guide rales, and I was even able to size down from a 9W to an 8.5W. I purchased the Ebony/Black/Hollyhock color, which looks amazing when I run in black tights or when I walk around in jeans. My only complaint is that the midsole is more of a magenta color and the laces are more of a hot pink color.

I have run in this style of Brooks for several years without issue until this pair. The upper heel piece has caused sores on the backs of my heels. The piece itself is hard to touch (like stuff plastic under the fabric cover)and does not appear to just need a break-in period (which I’ve never needed with this brand). I don’t believe they will break in and now after 8 wears (I gave them a solid try), I will need to order different shoes. I also plan to email Brooks directly with this issue.

This is my fifth pair of Adrenalines and I absolutely love them. I had plantar fasciitis and since I’ve been wearing my Brooks it’s gone. The only complaint I would have is I would like to see a better choice of colors. The last few GTS have been boring and bland, however that won’t keep me from buying them in the future! Just a little better color choices would be nice.

I was disappointed that the GTS 20 does not feel as comfortable as the GTS 19, which were wonderful. The toe box is narrower and they've changed something with the heel so that I am higher up in the shoe and my orthotics do not feel right (i.e., I feel a bump in each shoe). Also, the white logo at the toe is more prominent compared to the GTS 19, and I wear these to work every day and don't want the shoe to attract attention (though that was less of an issue than the fit).

I have worn Brooks Adrenaline for years and always loved them. I skipped the GTS 19 simply because the color choices were horrible! So when the CTS 20s came out, I was happy with some better color options! I ordered the same size that I have worn in Adrenaline's for the past 7 years. The new ones seemed HUGE! I thought that perhaps they were wide width and simply mislabled, so I tried on a different pair in a store to compare. Needless to say, I had the same experience again. I am keeping the shoes, but if I could offer my input to anyone else, I would describe them as having a MUCH larger toe box than previous versions of this shoe. They fit fine, but there is plenty of room to wiggle your toes!

I love Brooks!! This is my 2nd pair of the GTS and they are great! They are perfect for my long runs and to rotate with my Ghost and Levitate shoes. I did go down half a size as compared to the previous version as I felt they ran a little big.

About Me: Street shoe 7.5, athletic shoe 8; average width foot, but low volume (thin from top to bottom); narrow heel; low to normal arch; no pronation issues; 125 lbs.; walker, not a runner; generally wear an athletic shoe in the neutral or stability category, but not at the extreme end of either category. I like cushioning with some support, but nothing that feels like a marshmallow (think memory foam) or that's too stiff and rigid or that's too minimalist. I'm like Goldilocks when it comes to shoes - I need a fit that's just right. About Adrenaline GTS 20: The Good - True to size for me, the 8 fit perfectly in length and width. The toe box was roomy and comfortable, but not sloppy. I tried them on in the house with cold feet and felt like there was ample room for summer foot swelling. The quality of the shoe is outstanding. The upper doesn't have any unnecessary stitching or onlays to irritate, the tongue doesn't slide, there is no heel slippage, and the shoe has a sleek look to it. I wasn't crazy about the 12mm heel to toe drop - I prefer 8-10, but that wasn't a deal breaker. The shoe had a lot of cushioning and great support. The Bad - the guiderail technology. The guiderails put too much pressure on my inner arch. Simply walking around the house for 15 minutes made my arches ache - A LOT. I cannot imagine wearing these for any length of time, much less running in them. The guiderails pushed into my arch with every step and when just standing, and it became more painful the longer I was in them. I had to return because of this issue. Normally, I would try the Ravennas, but they have a guiderail system as well, so I'm going to try the Ghost 12 and see if will work. IMO, Brooks needs to bring back the midsole and get rid of the guiderails, Bottom Line: Try it. If your arches aren't bothered by the guiderail system, this could be a perfect shoe.

This was my 7th pair of Brooks Adrenaline and up until this pair, the Adrenaline has been the only running shoe I have ever loved. I don't know what has happened but the shoes are crippling me after a day of just walking around. I thought it was me but when I put on an old pair or go barefoot, my feet start to feel better. I have tried several times thinking there was a break-in period but they are just painful to wear and I end the day limping. I have visited with other Brooks faithful and have received the same complaint about the newest version. Truly a bummer.

I have two pair of the GTS 19’s and that is all I wear. I just bought the GTS 20 and love them! They are well padded and give my severely arthritic feet excellent arch support. I just wish that they would improve on the colors. Most are just drab or too bland. If it were not for my Podiatrist‘S recommendation, I would have not chosen them for the color. I need a wide width and had black, gray or white to pick from. So that is my big complaint. ASICS and NB have it all over Brook’s for outside color appeal.

This is my second pair of Brooks. I purchased the ghost version before and really loved them. I gave this version a try and it hasn't been 2 months of wear and my toes are already feeling the ground. They've worn right out. As you can see the rest of the shoe is in great condition.

I bought these because of excellent reviews, I have all kinds of issues with my feet, so decided to spend more money, but get good value for that, but they didn’t work for me at all. Half way through my walk, my toes were in agony, and this is not an exaggeration. Burning, shooting pain, I barely made it home. I have no idea why, when I put them on, they felt very comfortable, but thirty minutes later it was torture. Next day, did the same distance in my old shoes that I fortunately didn’t throw away, and all was well. These may be good shoes, just not for my feet, unfortunately, they are going back.

After less than 2 months I have holes in the top of the shoe! For that price, that is ridiculous.

While I’ve only had these for a short time, they were comfortable from the moment I put them on. I tried the 19s and they were too short in my regular size, but these fit well. Love the black and white—a good choice for spring and summer.

I can't say enough good things about this shoe! It has to be the BEST shoe I have EVER bought! I have flat feet, hyper flexible feet, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Bunions...... need I say more, LOL. They are comfortable, supportive - I don't need an extra insert/arch support/orthotic. I have worn them everyday since they arrived. They have not hurt my feet anywhere. I am truly amazed. I had first considered buying the Ghost 13, but read a review that the Adrenaline GTS 20 was better for flat feet. Boy, I am so glad I bought this one!

I was so excited to see the new generation of Adrenaline GTS. I have been waiting because I just want solid/plain black shoes! Well, extra wide is not offered, I tried wide and they don't work with my custom inserts. So sad! They have to go back and I still am stuck with the GTS 19 version with orange and purple color streaking the black shoe. It had the double wide! I don't like looking as if I am going to work out all the time, but still no choice!

Taking the advice of other reviewers I ordered a half-size larger and they fit perfectly. They were comfortable offering cushioned support and moderate arch support. Most happy they appeared as pictured because I love the vibrant tropical print! As always Zappos is my go-to for excellent customer service.

Love, love, love these shoes. I usually wear. 10.5N but none were available. Took a risk with the 10.5M and they are just fine. Took them on a two week cruise 2 days after I got them. Everyone loves all the bright colors!

I walk 5+ miles a day and after wearing these shoes for a week, I have noticed a reduction in my hip pain. Good support and cushion. My only complaint is the color options. I’d prefer less colorful/bold options like the men’s color palette.
