I’ve worn adrenaline for years but in the past 5 years the sizing and cushioning has been all over the place. I wear women’s size 10.5 or 11 but have needed to move to men’s sizing for more room in the toe box. This version of adrenaline is not good, the toe box is narrow and there is no cushion. Last year I changed to ghost 11 womens 10.5 which was super comfortable but mid year the fit was changed to more narrow. This seems to be the trend with Brooks. The wide sizes, which are limited, are just too big in the heel and instep. I don’t understand who the running shoe companies are targeting with all the narrow shoes on the market. Back to New Balance.

I suffered with plantar fasciitis for almost a year. I tried all different types of insoles, cortisone shots at the podiatrist and rollers at night and morning. I thought I was going to be stuck with incredibly painful first steps (even after short periods of sitting) for the rest of my life. I used to only wear new balance. This is my first pair of Brooks. I bought these shoes right before Christmas and have worn them everyday since purchase. I no longer have pain in my foot/heel. It's a miracle! I didn't switch out or change the insoles, just kept the ones in that they came with. I think I'm going to stock up on these and might buy a few other Brooks sneakers. Thanks for changing my life!

Fit and comfort are fine, but durability is severely lacking. I wear these (GT19) daily and only walk two blocks from the subway to my office. The toes are already tearing after only 4 months.

Brooks Adrenaline GTS 20 Review I have been a New Balance 990 guy for the last twenty or so years. I was ready to push the button here on v5 when a little more hipper spirit nudged me over to the Brooks' side of Zappos. While in Brooksville, I travelled to where the Adrenalines hang out. They looked cool, light, comfy, and came in widths. I chose the stealth black 13 4E. I speed walk with my Labrador Retriever 6 miles a day and I'm happy to say I may be faster, certainly more comfortable, and obviously overjoyed in my selection. And yes, I'm coming back for more Adrenaline (Black / Lime and Black / Ketchup) ; one pair for my birthday, and one pair for Christmas. I've been shopping at Zappos for about 10 years and, ladies and gentlemen, you have not let me down once. I actually look forward to returning shoes (wrong sizes) so I can hang with the customer service folks. Thanks much for making this guy's shoe buying journey more enjoyable.

I absolutely love these shoes. I have the hardest time trying to find shoes that fit my foot. These are men’s shoes and I am a woman and I got them because they would have a wider toebox. They are perfect !I can’t tell you how much I love them and how hard it is for me to find shoes that are comfortable and still attractive.

I am finally in love with a shoe! I have a terrible time finding a shoe that actually fits my severly damaged feet and that I can stay in and walk in and that offers enough support. My feet have been damaged and deformed from severe arthritis, causing bunions, hammer toes, my bones to "turn" and spread at odd angles, and my toes to overlap. I normally can't wear anything but a flip-flop and there are none with enough support to comfortably "walk" in for extended periods. Locating a shoe with a wide enough width and soft fabric side and toe box to accomodate my bunions and toes, and still offering good solid walkinig support has been a challenge, to say the least. I had given up. I've been to numerous "foot experts" at specialty footwear stores, who have offered inserts, insoles, various styles of shoes, who have generously "stretched" shoes to accomodate my feet and I have purchased at least two pair of "customized" shoes, all to no avail. Since I am a woman who, because of my disability, am forced to wear a men's shoe, I try to seek something that doesn't look quite so "masculine". I decided on a whim, after searching yet again, to try this shoe from Brooks, and because of Zappos great return policy, felt that I could try it, risk free. Boy am I glad I did! Upon opening the box, my hopes soared and I could tell right away that it had the support I sought and that it was not only "soft-sided" but also wide enough -- Finally! I held my breath as I tried it on with my heaviest pair of socks and Voila! Easy to get on, comfortable and supportive, and no rubbing, crunching, pain and contortions when I walked. I've had them on for several hours now, with no symptoms. I'm sold and oh so happy to have found these. I might even be able to dance! A happy dance! I can't wait to finally go out for a walk and really test them, but I have high hopes this time.

I have ran in GTS Adrenaline for 8 years. I was surprised when I discovered how light the shoes are. the lightest adrenaline I have ever had. The Size 12 of the 19’s weigh 13.1oz. These new 20’s only weigh 11.9oz. They are instantly noticeably lighter the first time you pick them up or put them on.

AWESOME right out of the box! I loved the Brooks Ghost 10, but since they are no longer available, I have to find something else. I bought these AND a pair of the Brooks Launch 6. BOTH FIT GREAT! Would recommend to anyone that walks a lot, is overweight- needs the cushion, had several foot surgeries! WOW WOW WOW!

Tried this shoe at a shoe store. They recommend a half size larger than my normal 12. The 12 1/2 was perfect but they couldn’t get the color I wanted. Zappos had the color and size and I ordered them. The shoes arrived but my foot felt some lumps in heel area of the right shoe. Reordered another pair and returned the lumpy ones. The next pair was perfect as was Zappos’ customer support. Gotta love these guys!!

I have been wearing Brooks Adrenaline GTS Series shoes for several years now. Not sure what happened to the GTS 20. Look nice. Mostly comfortable, but, not very supportive. This week I have been wearing an old pair of GTS 17’s for walking until I find a better alternative. Not sure why you have to redesign a great shoe into a mediocre shoe just to have something “new.”

I have owned and enjoyed the Brooks Adrenaline GTS 19 for a while. I wanted to get another pair, but they updated to GTS 20. In several ways the shoes feel "better". They feel lighter weight, more cushioned, and overall feel like a sleeker design. However, buying the same size going from the 19 to the 20, I'm getting fit issues. The toe box feels less spacious (width wise especially) and with the added cushioning it feels like the shoe is half a size smaller overall. Several people have told me that Brooks is generally a half size smaller than most other brands, so to me this specific model feels a full size smaller than other companies. These are real quality shoes, I just wish the fit was consistent among models over the years.

The shoes are great and I really enjoyed the fit and jogging in them. I do believe I received a defective pair as the sole is pulling apart in less than two weeks. Is there anyway I can send them back and get a replacement?

These are immediately very comfortable. You can feel the support but not overly so. I've only had them for a week or two so I can't say much about wear and tear but they feel really solid. For me they're a bit on the snug side sizing-wize (length), I usually go for a 10.5-11 and these are a tight 11, otherwise perfect!

I usually turn my running shoes (Brooks Ghost) to walkers when I get new ones, but decided to get something only for walking that didn't look like my grandfather would wear. Many websites (including Brooks) listed the Adrenaline as a walker/runner. The are very comfortable right out of the box, but definitely a different feel than what I am used to. Softer under the forefoot, but the extra support feels strange compared to the neutral shoes. I am sure I'll settle in to it. Bonus, they look good.

Great shoes. Had multiple pairs over the years. Zappos is awesome once again! Quick delivery and easy return if you need to.

I was fitted to the Brooks Adrenaline GTS model over 10 years ago at a running store. I had pain in my right knee that would worsen during each run. As a 6'4" 225 lb. man, I needed shoes that would support my size, weight, and running style. The running store diagnosed me with over-pronation by observing me jogging (meaning ankle bends inward on each stride). These shoes have a platform that slants down to the right (right shoe) to compensate for my ankle pronation. I was able to run pain-free after that point and buy these shoes each and every year. The model has evolved significantly over the years, especially the last three years, where the upper shoe has become a semi-stretch material. This makes the shoe extremely light and comfortable, although you need to keep your big toenail trimmed so it doesn't wear the toe prematurely. I'm also thankful that Brooks expanded the color options available in 14EE. It used to be limited to just one dopey color combination and now there are many options. I recommend you get fitted for shoes at a running store before buying these given they are designed for over-pronation. But, if that is your diagnosis, I could not recommend these enough!

I have been very brand loyal to Nike for very long time. They were the best supportive sneakers but now that I have tried these I can't go back. My knee pain went away as soon as I started wearing them and walking around. To let you know I am 6'3 and 300 lbs and have had numerous sports injuries. When these are old will be getting replaced with another pair.

This is my 3rd pair of Adrenalines, I have been happy with the line. I was a little unsure about this pair when I first put them on, they felt really stiff. After putting a few miles on them, they loosened up and feel great.

My husband loves loves these shoes. They are a true red so he really enjoys the color as that was just what he was looking for. They offer the support he needs for his feet.

The GTS 20 is a major improvement over the GTS 18. I really liked my GTS 17 but the GTS 18 seems too narrow in the toe box. After speaking to various people I think that was a common problem with the GTS18. The new GTS 20 is extremely comfortable with tons of padding and cushion. I have only put maybe 15 miles on them so far but they are a game changer.

I am not a runner however these are great for walking. They fit well and have good arch support. These are not the most stylish shoes I have ever owned as I am not fond of the color combinations. I have had good results with Adrenaline GTS 18 & GTS 19 so these shoes have not disappointed.

I only had them for week, but so far so good.

The fit is true. I use these as work shoes as I’m on my feet all day. They provide excellent support and are extremely comfortable even at the end of the day.
