I have wide feet, I bought the 4W size and they're comfortable. That's not always true, so I can recommend these shoes.

These shoes run very large. I find that New balance tends to run large especially when I get 4e width. So just a full size lower than you usually do.

Great sneakers from New Balance. Hard to find wide shoes that are actually wide, especially in the toe box. The best part about buying from Zappos is if the shoes do not fit perfectly you can send them back without any problems.

Fits as expected, with great support. Very pleased. Used to buy Asics, but they've been out of my size (16 wide), so I tried these. Lucky catch.

This is my second pair of New Balance 1540v3. New Balance size 10.5 EEEE happen to fit my feet like a custom made shoe. The 1540 isn't quite as comfy as the 1080, but they last significantly longer. I hope that future models of this shoe are as good, or better than the current version. I have been a New Balance customer since the mid 1970s. I have noticed as new models of their existing shoes are introduced, the quality and durability tend to decline, causing me to move up to a more expensive shoe.

I love these shoes. I have a narrow foot and it is often hard to find shoes that fit well. These shoes are comfortable and the fit is great.

I can’t comment on longevity, as I’ve been wearing my New Balance 1540v3’s for all of four days. But! Unlike any other shoe I’ve ever worn, these required NO break-in period and were immediately comfortable. These are size 9D and true to size. Highly recommended!

This is the third pair of these I've purchased, so you might say I'm satisfied with them. The arch support rating is irrelevant to me, since I use custom foot orthotics. However, after removing the very flat footbeds, the shoe's built-in arch does raise the center of the orthotic a bit. I'm a little put off that there isn't a wider range of colors, just combinations of black, gray and navy. However, that doesn't erase my enjoyment of these comfortable, capable athletic shoes.

My third pair! NB makes the best wide (4E) running shoes. I put lots of miles on these and they are comfortable to the end.

I am not using these New Balance with the arch support that came with them. I substituted custom made supports. The specialist that made the supports recommended this model New Balance. I am very pleased that I followed the recommendation.

These fit just like the pair before them. I am hard on shoes. I wear these almost every day.
