These shoes are great and I am fussy, I returned the other 3 pairs I ordered with them. They're exactly what I wanted, a simple but elegant black sandal, super comfortable (cushioned footbed!), true to size (I'm always a EU39, usually US 8.5 though wear 8 or 9 in different brands. Ordered 8.5 and they're perfect). Wore them straight from the box and no issues at all. I'm back here to order the nude color, they're that good.

Very comfy. I had a pair of Fryes in this similar style but there was NO support and the bottoms were SLICK. These have a bit of cushion, the bottoms have some traction. I do wish it were zipper closure like the Frye pair as I am not sure how long the velcro will last.

I really love these sandals. Usually I find that ankle strap sandals aren’t so flattering on me, making my legs look shorter and stumpy. But the neutral color of these are close to my skin color (when tanned!) so they don’t have that problem. Comfy enough although I wouldn’t choose them for a long walk. But a very nice step-up from flip flops. They look great with dressy shorts, long skirts and ankle length flowey pants.

These are an extremely comfortable and surprisingly stylish pair of flat summer sandals. What is most appealing is the obvious quality, with excellent materials (extremely soft leather and padded sole). The ankle strap is comfortable and easily adjustable. These look great with just about anything. One caveat: I have a slight bunion, which is more pronounced on one side, so when I walk, that foot tends to slide backward slightly in the sandal (probably not noticeable to anyone by myself) to accommodate the wider width on that one side. However, a simply adjustment of my foot (as well as sometimes tightening of the ankle strap) fixes that problem. It should be noted that my feet are quite wide; I usually can't wear sandals with a single strap (the width is usually not wide enough) but this is definitely not the case with these. Also, since I've puchased these (and worn them nearly every day for a week), I'm finding that the leather has stretched slightly. I also wore these for a four-mile walk on city pavement with absolutely no complaints. I've since purchased two more pair of Gentle Souls sandals (slightly different style). They are well worth the money.

These sandals are SO comfortable!! I walk A LOT on a regular basis so I've stocked up on quite a few comfy shoes over the years, so I didn't exactly NEED another pair. But when I saw these Kenneth Cole Gentle Souls sandals at a local shoe store, the cushioned footbed felt so delicious. Unfortunately, they didn't have my size so of course, I came immediately to Zappos and found them (for a better price too!). I wore them for the first time on my commute to work this morning and it felt like I was wearing soft slippers. The cushioned footbed is just delicious! I don't usually wear sandals with closed backs but I'm glad I tried these. They are not THE most stylish sandals but they're cute and the neutral caramel color can be matched with any outfit. I'm usually between a size 8 and 8.5. I ordered this in an 8.5 and they fit perfectly.

I LOVE these sandals. I love how comfortable they are...and I love the style. Just what I was I looking for. It took the third pair of shoes (these) from Zappos to find the right shoe. It is a bit pricey, but worth every penny. I can wear these with dresses, pants, or even shorts. And, they are so comfy and I have problem feet (bunions, etc.) and the leather is soft. If you only buy one sandal this summer, these are the ones to splurge on.

Good. The ankle strap feels a bit tight, but I think that’s good overall since I’m sure it’ll stretch. They are very attractive.

Always true to size in Gentle Souls. Love the rose gold. Comfortable right from the box. Nice that ankle strap is adjustable. I also ordered the one that looks like cork and almost kept it too. But I needed a little sparkle so the rose gold was perfect!

I adore these sandals for summer. It is what I imagine walking on marshmallows would feel like. Most sandals have no support or cushioning and these are just a delight to wear.

These are soft and comfortable. I think they are overpriced.

The only reason I am giving these 3 starts is because I had to superglue the bottoms after a week. Normally wouldn’t bother me but, they were pretty expensive. They are cute and comfy, just not great quality glue down there.

These shoes are beautiful and seem very well made but were not flattering enough on my feet to justify the high price; I really wanted to keep them but back they go. My feet are just shy of wide width with very short toes and my usual size 6.5 (bought in rose gold, too metallic and too pink for my taste) looked way too long (I would have been tripping over the front of the shoe). I tried a size 6 (in the cork/nude color which I preferred) and it felt a full to 1.5 sizes smaller than the 6.5, too tight across both straps (the Velcro was visible when I strapped them on, which was not attractive). I thought about keeping the 6.5 because they are very comfortable - and I freaking HATE dealing with tiny buckles when I'm in a hurry so yay Velcro! - but the first thing somebody said when they saw them on me was "they look way too big". Plus, the ankle strap hit in an awkward place that is not the most narrow part of your ankle, making my legs look stubbier than they already are. If you have thin calves/ankles and long thin feet these might be gorgeous on you!

gives horrible heel blisters. Started off okay but within an hour had huge blisters, total waste of money, can't even wear

I don't think these are worth the money. They're cute but there is no arch support and wouldn't be great for walking any type of distance.
