This would be a great shoe if the insole was made of something natural and not a synthetic material. The insole is plastic and slippery.

Very Cheap Quality. Disappointed in Dr Scholl. I grew up on Dr Scholl and have been wearing their products for over 50 years. By far this was the worst!

I used to wear these when I was a kid they were so uncomfortable (but we wore them anyway)because you were walking on a block of wood. The worst was when you slid off the side of the wood you would have a black and blue mark on your heel. It is unbelievable that this shoe is now so comfortable and you can adjust the width since there is now velcro. Dr Scholl you have come a long, long way in over 40 years :). LOVE THEM !!!!

I love this sandal ! Would love to have it in red ! I actually owned all of the Original Dr Scholl 's sandals with wooden footbeds & wish I had still had them , but these are so much more comfortable . Would love to have them in every color .

Unfortunately, I will need to return these shoes. They have little or no arch support and do not work if you have foot problems. I have plantar fasciitis and was hoping these would replace my old, now discontinued, Dr. Scholl's "Twist 2" sandals which have helped my heel pain but which are wearing out. However, the new Originalist sandals had no support and also were too flat. I started feeling mild heel pain within just a few minutes of putting on the shoes. They had no support and also felt very flat. One foot also seemed to slip a little sideways and brush the edge of the sandal near the heel, so I don't think these would have been very comfortable even without my foot problems. Going down a half-size might help that problem, but it doesn't matter because of my plantar fasciitis. The Originalist sandals are slightly larger than my old Twist 2 sandals, but the old ones did not come in half sizes. I think my size is closer to 7.5 rather than the 8 I ordered; therefore, I would say these do run true to size. I am very disappointed that Dr. Scholl's can evidently no longer make a comfortable and supportive sandal like my old ones. Thank you, Zappos, for at least giving me a chance to try these.

Perfect shoes! I am buying another pair.

I purchased these with the intent to wear them on a trip to Europe. Admittedly, I received them the day before I left for my trip. I had hoped these would be comfortable and not require a breaking in period. I was not disappointed! These were the only shoes I wore while I was away, walking 6-7 miles/day. I highly recommend!

Great looking casual sandal - more comfortable with softer foot bed & easier to walk in than the older Dr. School’s all wooden sandals I wore many years ago.

These have an adjustable Velcro strap and they have enough support as a flat sandal. These are casual and I bought different colors for different occasions. Well made. Good quality.
