Was so excited to get these! I have been wearing birkenstock since the 90s. Was disappointed when I received them. The shearling feels cheap, my heel and toe was coming off of the ends of the shoe, and they didn't feel as comfortable as normal birkenstocks. The shearling takes away from the arch support etc. and the shearling is slick and made my foot slide. Feels a full size smaller. Returning...

Since these arrived I’ve worn them everyday. I’m using them as slippers and wearing them in my house but since I’m working remotely that’s been all day! My feet can breathe and be toasty at the same time. And they’re cute too!

This is my 3rd pair of the Arizona Shearling,. I tend to get a new pair every winter. I have wide, flattish feet and it's hard to find a comfortable shoe. These are my all time favorite shoe, year round. In the summer, I just wear them inside, unless it's a rainy, cool day. As soon as fall comes, I wear them everywhere I go. The shearling does wear off in spots, depending on your wear pattern. I usually wear them with socks, which seems to slow down the wear. Also, even with the wear, it's not noticeable at all, with a sock on. That has given me a lot longer life out of each pair. I highly recommend these shoes, and I get lots of compliments when I wear them. The fuzzy ones aren't that common. I was so glad to see the Mink color back in, since I haven't had that color for 2 years.

If you love Birkenstock’s and love uggs, these are a must have! I went up a size due to the shearling lining and glad I did! They are cozy and soft. Some reviews have stated that the shearling made their feet black, this is generally with any colored or died shearling. My ugg classic talks that are black do the same. This is a small price to pay for these fabulous shoes!

These feel warm inside in cold weather even without socks. My feet (bunions, hammer toes and recovery from plantar fasciitis) love the comfortable footbed with ample room for my toes and good arch support.

I finally broke down and treated myself to a new pair of house shoes. I’d been eyeing them for some time and since being home due to our stay in place order this was the perfect time to get them. I ordered a size 36 which usually run a little big in Birks for me as I am a size 5 in other shoes but with the shearling they fit perfectly. So happy!

I loved how these looked and felt upon receipt. Ibought them as slippers. The shearling footbed however, after only a few months, wore through to the leather underneath. Birkenstock wouldn't make any allowance for this OR accept them back for repair. There are no Birkenstock stores where I live. I expected to get more than 1 winter out of $150.00 saddles. Very disappointed. BTW.. I would not recommend the light colored shearling footbed as it gets dirty very fast.

Took some time with exchanges to get a nice, comfortable pair. I’m pleased with the color, the glue is smooth, the fur seems to be ok so far on day 5 & the size is comfortable on both feet. I had to size up most likely due to the shearling taking up space. They are comfy, cute & so far no issues, however, the more I wear them, I’m pretty sure the shearling will start to come off in areas where more pressure is placed. Not sure what’s going on with quality control at Birkenstock’s. The fur coming off completely in toe & heal areas, the glue being jagged on the inside of the straps that hold the fur in place doesn’t feel good cutting into your feet & the shoes not being the same size when placed side by side is not acceptable QA. For the price, I would think those 3 major issues would be resolved ASAP.

These shoes look great but after only a few wears they are pulling apart and it is making them uncomfortable to wear. Quality is very poor

The sandal is comfortable but very poorly made. This is after wearing ONE time! The shearling is glued on and lifting from the heels. Some spots on the straps aren’t even covered with the shearling. Too much money for such poor construction. If I hadn’t thrown away the box I would have sent them back! Not happy.

First of all...important! I always get a size 40 birks, and I buckle them up to the tightest possible due to narrow feet. HOWEVER, this time, I ordered size 40, my toes creeped over the edge (hang ten) and I had on the widest buckle. No biggie, I quickly exchanged (as in 24 hours!!) and the 41 fits perfectly. They are so comfy. The style..well, they are furry birkenstocks, so I think a pair of those with a fanny pack and you are good to go. But seriously, I love them.

Really disappointed unfortunately. They are the most comfortable sandals and I love the style, but the fur completely fell out after just a couple of wears. They look awful and I don't wear them anymore. I was a bit shocked by the quality as Birkenstock is typically quite good. I just requested a new pair - I think mine were defected or something.

Very cozy and comfortable. Will use as slippers. Not attractive enough to wear out as shoes. Well worth the money if you wear slippers a lot in the house. My feet stay warm in the winter and don’t get hot in the summer like with most all fuzzy slippers. Also have the conforming foot bed. Highly recommend.

Zappos offered the best selection of regular width Birkenstock footwear when I ordered these. However, I have been unable to continue ordering because the more stylish footwear in colors other than black and mink are only offered in narrow (A and B width) My feet are C width, which is the traditional Birkenstock width for the last century. This is because Birkenstock now has a reduced selection of regular width Birkenstock’s. I can only wear shearling Birkenstock’s because of arthritis and bone spurs and I already have black and mink colors in clogs and sandals. Apparently they no longer offer other colors in regular width. I guess they don’t value customers who’ve worn their footwear for the past 30 years. I’m sorry Birkenstock has made it difficult for Zappos. There is nothing left for me to order.

Absolutely so fabulous! EXCEPT they are prematurely worn off in the foot bed. They should have worn better especially at that price. Zappos is standing by them and this is why I always shop through them!

The fabric lifts after a few wearing making the shoe loom really bad

I have several pair of Birkenstock sandals all size 40. This pair with the shearling had my 2nd toe (it's my longest) right at the edge of the footbed. It wasn't hanging off or anything, just right at the tip of the shoe. I took a picture and sent it to Birkenstock customer service. They said for shearling sandals it is best to size up. I hope this helps if you're trying to decide what size to purchase.

I'm a yoga teacher who loves any show that keeps me basically barefoot. I have been a fan of these for about 4 years. So warm and fuzzy and heavenly. I wear these deep into fall (without socks) and early winter (with socks) in Chicago until the snow forces me to wear real shoes with laces.These are snug only for about two days (adjust the straps if you need to), but quickly break in.If you have never tried shearling footwear before, and you love Birkenstocks, you MUST try these. I always get compliments and questions. They are an uncommon sight, which I like, and I love being able to still wear sandals in chilly weather.This is my third pair. My first pair I had redone by a Birkenstock shoe guy. He replaced the shearling that had worn out with fleece. It wasn't the same. So now I just by a new pair. I wear them heavily and often, in all sorts of conditions, so they last about a year.Happy to report that the shearling in my second and third pair lasted longer (on the footbed) than the first pair.

Having read thru the other reviews and going to the Birkenstock website, I went with my normal size 37. They are adorable, and warm, and exactly what I wanted. However, as noted by some other reviews, they were not perfect. There were globs of glue at the joints between the sole and the straps on both shoes. I was able to very carefully clip it out without causing any damage. NOW they are now perfect.

Finally, I'm all in on Birks. I have a few pairs, it seems like the thing to do. They are wildly popular for a reason. Secretly though, I don't find them to be the most comfortable. The footbeds are kind of hard, my feet are sensitive and are bothered easily. I really prefer to wear socks, though I don't like the socks & birks look as much. Maybe I don't wear my pairs enough to break them in and achieve this Birkenstock-nirvana that everyone else seems to have. I would rather wear my asics with a comfy pair of socks and call it good. Then I saw these Arizona Shearlings on a model in an ad selling something jeans, and I loved the look. These are spendy, but with Zappos free shipping & returns it was easy enough to tell myself there was no harm in just trying. Well, no way are these going back. They are so comfortable and perfect for my feet. I know the shearling won't be so pretty after some time wearing them, but I'm going to try hard to not keep these put away in the interest of keeping them nice. THIS is the pair that I will finally wear out!

i'm laughing to myself because a reviewer wrote it was like teddybears hugging her feet. i bought mine at a store in chicago, and i kept saying to the salesperson, "it's like walking on kittens that are hugging my feet, little hugging kittens" ok, she clearly had no sense of humor, and glared at me like i had real time experience in this area. i love kittens BTW. i should have calmed her by saying imaginary world where kittens wouldn't be injured and would also joyfully embrace the weight of said human. at any rate, i've worn them to shreds and am here to buy a new pair, that are not covered with paint, for the house.

Love the shearling! I live in Birkies now that I’m Working from home full time. These are perfect Colorado winter Birks. Got the black shearling guessing the white would get dirty. I gave 3 ?? because the shearling might be pulling away from the sole only after a week’s wear.

Normally I love Birkenstock! These, however, were a disappointment. They were a Christmas gift for my daughter but have already begun falling apart. The sherpa lining is peeling away in the front and the back. She is not wearing them excessively so there's no reason for the peeling other than poor quality (which is unusual for Birkenstock.)

TheseBirks fit and never disappoint. Wear them with socks in the cooler months. Despite bunions on both feet, these shoes are super comfortable.
