These shoes are very comfortable when standing for 6 to 8 hours working in a deli. They are wide enough to wear with mid-weight socks. They are indeed slip-resistant. I wear a size 9 or 9 1/2 and the size 9 fit perfectly. I would recommend them. The only downside is that they can squeak a little (just like sneakers do when wet) but this does not bother me.

I have a very difficult time finding shoes that are comfortable, so I was surprised when I was able to wear these. They aren't perfect for my foot issues, but they're the closest thing I've found in years. They're very well made and have an excellent slip-resistant sole. They're as attractive as any other sneaker style and feel extremely stable while walking. I ordered an 8W and I'm very happy with the fit.

I purchased these because of the non-slip sole, which is needed here in the frosty Midwest. Having many foot “issues”, I was surprised at how comfortable they felt when first put on. I have not as yet worn them for any length of time, nor for walking any distance, but they feel more “solid” on my feet when approaching a snowy or icy area. Style-wise, they’re not the most fashionable, but if they help to prevent an unwanted fall, who cares?

Shoe runs large. I normally wear a 7 but purchased 6.5 and it fit perfectly. Very comfortable; on my feet for 6 to 8 hours with no complaint

I bought these shoes because they were the required brand for working in an in store bakery. From day one they were comfortable and the size was perfect. I’ll be honest, the style was ok but I have worn a lot worse. I’ll definitely buy these again and recommend Zappos for the speedy delivery!!

Really wanted to love these sneakers but their outer material was simply too hard and did not make them very comfortable to me. Their fit was great but the sneakers simply were not for me. Lucky my Father wears the same show size as me and I gave them to him as his birthday gift. He loved them and did not have the same issues I did.

Fit n size is perfect! So comfortable, I’m a delivery driver n my feet don’t hurt at all, I work 10 hour shifts

Bought these for my 10 year old daughter. She is required to have all black shoes with her school uniform. She loves them! I will be buying her another pair.

They seem too tight when putting them on, but they’re actually perfect once you get them on and in the right size. Super comfortable and durable. Would definitely buy two or more for work.

We had to return these twice - once for being too short in length and after going up a pair because they're too narrow. -- Hopefully 3rd tie will be a charm.
