Wore the shoes 20 times. The trim on the ankles has frayed away. Quality control is an issue.

Bought the same size I normally wear in ASICS(7) but did not fit! Disappointed, when I compared them to my current size 7 ASICS there was at least a half an inch difference.

Excellent shoe - I like it more than the 24. And I only went to the 26 when the 24 was no longer available. I cover 50+ miles a week.

I'm a runner and have been wearing Asics Kayano for many years. I received the GEL-Kayano 26 in April and I can usually go about 6 months before I wear down my tennis shoes. These only lasted about 4 months and the tread is already gone. I also think that these ran smaller than the previous models. I love the Kayano shoe so i hope they can improve future models.

I have always been a fan of Asics. I own many pairs of shoes but I was very disappointed by these. For a shoe that is so expensive I was very surprised by how bad they made my legs and feet hurt. They are very hard to stand in. I tried to put insoles in them but it only helped a little. I tried to break them in for 1 week but no luck either. These are not good if you are on your feet the whole day. I wish I could return these but unfortunately I am stuck with it. I went back to my old shoes and these are in my closet.

These shoes turned my pinky toenail black and outter part of my foot developed a blister! Do NOT buy this specific shoe.

I bought the same size I've worn of kayanos for years and these were too small!! (Size10) Why?

Just like wearing a wooden moccasin, uncomfortable!

Can not wear them everyday due to the blisters they produce. This is the fourth pair of ASICS I currently own, and the worse for fit. I am very unhappy with the Gel Kayano 26 ASICS

I have had good luck with these in the past. And Asics are my usual go-to brand.This version is not very comfortable! The sole is very hard, and there seems to be very little cushion. I can also feel every rock and object on the ground that I step on. I attempted several runs in these, but could not adjust to them. They caused foot, knee, and even low back pain from the lack of support. I even replaced with different cushioned insoles, but that was not enough. I switched to using them as a walking shoe, but even that is not very comfortable. I wish if they were going to advertise their wonderful "supportive" insoles, that they would actually include the cushion into the shoes too. These are barely usable for anything, and money wasted.

I purchased theses sneakers about 2 weeks ago... only started wearing them for a week and material ripped on both near ankle. Very disappointed

If you're a runner who has been wearing the Kayanos for many years, these are not the same. Super unhappy they keep changing these shoes. As a runner, when you find the pair that fits and works for you, you buy over and over again. I'll be looking for a new shoe now.

I purchased these shoes only 30 days ago and put less than 65 walking miles on them. They look like I've ran 1,000 miles in them already. The tread on both shoes is worn in places. Mid-sole, toe and heal area. I have no other complaints other than they seem to be coming apart. I paid over $100 & would of expected them to last longer. I purchased these shoes to run in but am having knee problems so I can only walk. I'm 5'2" 130 pounds and blew these shoes out walking less than 65 miles in 30 days.

Comfortable shoe, but the material has already torn on the sides after wearing only a few weeks

It tore on the first week of using it although all I did was walk in it

Very heavy, stiff and uncomfortable! Especially on the top of your foot ...ouch!!

I've been buying Kayanos for at least seven years whatever the newest version. These do not fit and feel the same and they are about half size small, very disappointed.

The sneakers are defective and are falling apart after a few weeks

I have owned Kayano's for years as a runner & loved them. This model causes my feet to go numb.

Shoes were not wide enough and they are supposed to be the widest.

I bought these with 2 day shipping. First of all, it took 10 days to arrive. Second, the shoes came with black spattered all over the white sol of the shoe (I ordered black and white Kayano 26). Third, they didn't even come with a tag. I've been wearing asics for a while now, as I run cross country for my college. However, I am really disappointed with how these shoes turned out.

I have had these shoes about a month. The top around the ankle is ripped through. Or pulled out right at the seam and the padding is coming out. I have bought this brand for years. I am very disappointed.
