Customer Reviews Anuschka Ankle Rain Boot

I take a Women’s 6 in Boggs and Merrell, a 6.5 in Keen sportsandals, and generally a European size 36. These size 6 boots fit a bit big, maybe a 1/2 size all around, but replacing the insole with a thicker “sport” gel/contoured one did most of the trick. I might need to add one of those stick-on things in the heel to keep it from slipping so much, but happily, the slipping isn’t rubbing like it will cause a blister. The opening of the boot is quite wide, considerably bigger than the opening to my old Boggs ankle boots. The rubber is surprisingly soft, supple, and flexible. The boots certainly stand up on their own, but the materials are thinner (and more flexible) than my old Boggs. Only time will tell how durable the rubber is, but it was quite comfortable out of the box, not stiff at all. The fabric inside is also rather thin, but with felt-like softness. It seems a good materials-pairing with the rubber. The footbed and insole are completely flat, but the insole is removable so you can add your own. The construction is a little surprising. The printed rubber continues under the elastic gore at the ankle with a simple slit (in the rubber and attached lining) to allow for flexing. Again, time will tell for durability. The tread provides good traction yet hasn’t been a “mud magnet” yet. And we do have lots of mud and puddles during the spring thaw in New England! The overall effect of the construction is a pleasantly surprising flexible boot that has thus far proven comfortable to walk in. I wear my ankle boots nearly daily in the Spring and Fall. The butterflies are vibrant but not over-glossy, even prettier than the pictures! I absolutely LOVE how beautiful these very practical and comfortable ankle boots are!

After reading reviews about these shoes being a half size too big, I ordered them. They arrived and are about the cutest shoes and certainly the cutest rain boots I have ever seen. very comfy- nice wide toe box but a half size too small for me. I assumed based on reviews that a size 11 would fit a size 11.5 foot (not so). the bogs boots fit but don't hold a candle to these in terms of adorable. THEY FIT TRUE TO SIZE in my experience.

I was so excited about these! There was only 1 review to go on, so I thought I would help by adding another. Unfortunately, I found these to run quite large and a FULL size larger. I usually wear normal width, have thin legs & ankles, size 9.5. I ordered a 10 since they come in whole sizes only. I was hoping to add my full-length orthotic to make up the difference. Boots are also a bit wide. I suggest that you order down instead of up. As always, customer service was fabulous, so I will keep my fingers crossed for Ralph Lauren Tally II, since size 9 was all gone (sadness). Happy shopping!

These ankle rain boots are adorable! Sadly, they run large, and the smallest size was too big on me. I'm usually a 6, sometimes a 5.5 and was swimming in the 6. I can't speak to their durability, but when I tried them on at my office I sure got lots of compliments! Too bad they don't come in a size 5 of 5.5!

These are cute, colorful rain boots--perfect for a wet outing. I'm a seven with wide feet and the boots fit perfectly. I throw them on in the morning to walk the dog on wet grass.

Easy on and off. Nice styling. Comfortable fit.

Boot pull loop broke off. Very cute and comfortable with thick socks. They slid off easily, however, putting them on is much easier with a hook especially if you don’t want to get your hands dirty. These boots are great for muddy days and raking the chicken run. They are the cutest boots in the mud room.

I agree with other reviewers who said that these run large - at least a whole size larger! I also received a pair that was two different sizes! They both said size 10(US) on the bottom, but the inside label said 10 on the left and 11 on the right. The right one was definitely much larger than the left, and the left was way too big! Ugh! Too bad the print on them is so darn awesome!
