I've only had these a couple days and I'm really impressed. I've had other shoes from Lowa, usually boots, some that have lasted me years and years. These feel really well made and look great. I think they run about 1/2-1.0 size too small...I had to exchange my 9 for a 9.5, and I've never worn a 9.5 before. I will say they feel just slightly too long now, but width-wise and everything else feel great. I have found them very comfortable, I've already walked a few miles in them and they are breaking in nicely.

I had to go up 1/2 a size since toe area volume is small. This is an unusual shoe in that it has zero midsole, the insole is actually very thick and functions as the midsole as well. But is has very little arch support so I took it out and added a thick Sole insole to add arch support and replace the cushioning. I also added a cushioned heel lift because the insole that comes with shoe is about 1/2" thick on heel. If you dont need any arch support then the insole with shoe is probably great for you. I like the color because it won't show dirt, and since its waterproof I can wash the soles off with a hose if I get mud or dirt in the grooves without getting my socks wet. I think they're over priced, but they're a nice shoe.

They felt too small compared to other size 11 shoes I have. Walking around in the living room I could tell that the tops of my feet were going to be rubbing and hurting. They look quite nice though.
