Pretty comfortable but a bit narrow in the toes. If you're going for this look and want a pure retro style, suggest getting the Asics this was based on or cortez classic instead of the cortez basic. The cortez classic is a little sleeker and looks less chunky. These are so chunky looking I can't keep them.

I read previous reviews that stated they ran a bit small. So I ordered a half size bigger & they fit perfectly.

My only complaint is that a hen they came the Nike checks were all creased on both sides, both shoes. Still had to wear them as I ordered then for an event. Love them! Classic.

Love the shoes and only took a day to get to me. As for the size go about 1-2 sizes bigger if you get them.!

I had Nike Cortez as a kid and thought, cool, they still look awesome. Well I normally wear a 9 but had to get a 9.5 in these, but Zappos service handled the return with one minor hiccup. All good. The shoes are comfy as heck and loving them now. The "toe box" is narrow but not a comfort issue. Overall very happy to have these classics.

I bought these for my son for Christmas. He wears a size 9 so I bought a size 9.5. He complained that his big toe was hurting in the shoes. I believe that the size was a little narrow for his foot. I may have to send them back or gift them to someone else. Most likely I'll get a bigger size for him. Delivery was on-time and the price was reasonable.

Oh how i missed these!. My first pair was the Leather Cortez in Red/White/Blue, back in the day. I ordered my size (10), and just like all the other reviews stated, they were too small. At least 1/2 size. Could have maybe even went a full size but i dont like the floppy toe look. They do feel narrower than a standard width. But, being nylon, I assume there gonna stretch and break in. IF YOUR GONNA ORDER, START WITH 1/2 SIZE LARGER THAN NORMAL!!! Other than that, I love them. Very stylish. I snapped off the ugly metal bling on the shoelace. Didnt like that

Most def recommend a half size bigger than actual size. Got nothing but love for the Cortez... comfy, simple, clean.

These shoes are nice looking but RUN SMALL. I have three other pairs of Nike's and I always wear a 10.5. I got a 11.5 after reading reviews and it is still a little snug. These feel narrower than the others for some reason as well

Runs small, obsidian is actually blue not black as it looks in the pictures - had to return so can't really say much about the overall comfort

Very excited to see this back. I have had multiple Nike Cortez sneakers during the last few decades. Love the style and color. I agree with the other reviews, the shoes just seem so much smaller and narrower than I remember. Perhaps the nylon will stretch. My toes felt crammed into them. Again, beautiful color and construction. Just not the sizing I had hoped for. I have sized up then they feel too big at the toe box.

These are good-looking, nicely made shoes. Unfortunately, they were too tight for my size 15 feet. I purchased a pair of size 15 Nike Air Force 1 shoes last summer and they fit wonderfully. I don't know if the Cortez pair were mismarked, but they fit like size 14. too short (my toes came all the way up to the tips of the shoes) and way too tight..

These shoes run small and narrow. I ordered a full size above my actual size and they just barely fit. My feet measure 'A' in width, and the 'D' width ordered is quite snug. Since they're nylon, they should stretch and conform to my feet after a while.

I love these shoes. They are super stylish and yet understated. I was so disappointed when the soles wore through in a matter of months. I walk a lot. But still. For real, Nike?

I received my shoes really bent and misshaped. They have creases all over and look like they were bent in half for the past month in the warehouse.

Had to size up half a size. But the real problem with this shoe was that the sole started separating from the nylon after one day of casual wear. Disappointing for a stylish shoe.
