The coat has a flattering silhouette and semi-transparent summery appearance. The coat tag says it is water resistant. I checked both fabrics used on this jacket dropping little bit of water. The semi-transparent parts do not or almost do not pass water, but shoulder panels become wet fast and pass moisture. I would expect opposite, like upper parts which hit by rain the most to be more water proof. If not to worry about rain protection it is nice summer coat.
