Because the reviews said to get a half size larger...I did. Too big. Heel too loose. Tried my old Taos sneaker on that is a 9 and it was fine. Otherwise the product is fabulous. Love all my Taos shoes because i need the support for my high arches and old toes..

These are so so cute and I wanted to keep them, but they are not very sturdy. They do have the classic Taos footbed, but the shoe itself is very light and thin and there’s not much cushion in the sole. If you take the footbed out you will see it’s a very thin bit of rubber between you and the ground. These are like Keds with a touch more arch support. I loved them, but I needed something more cushioned, so I got the Moc Star instead, which is not quite as cute but has a thicker sole and more heal suppor/ cushioning. Definitely a great shoe if you don’t have problem feet like me (plantar fasciitis), but if you need a more supportive shoe this might not be enough for all day wear or walking.

I bought my usual 9.5 but this sneaker felt tight and I wasn't sure the canvas material would stretch much with wear. This particular pair also had a small defect, I think, creating a sharp stiff thread that poked the top of my foot. I love Taos and own several pairs of other Taos shoes and sandals, but this one didn't work for my fussy feet!

Love the look and the brand. That said, this shoe has minimal rise mid-foot to heel, which negates ideal arch support. Glad I have time to decide. I'm going to do some comparisons before I keep these!

These are cute shoes, loved the color and the leather accents and I really wanted to like them. but.... They were uncomfortable for me as I have a wide food and the toe area is somewhat pointed... the tread is weird on the bottom and they just feel like a cheap shoe to me, considering how much they cost. Sent them back and trying another brand. Just wanted a cute canvas sneaker for summer beside a KED which are too narrow for me.

I usually wear a size 9 in sneakers to accommodate my orthaheel inserts. This shoe felt big with my insert and heavy socks. So, back they must go.

Adorable sneaker but a tight fit even going 1/2 a size up.

The fit was as expected. I did not like the wool fabric and the overall appearance of the shoe. Well-made, but they didn't look good on my feet.

These were cute and fit true to size, but had a seam that rubbed uncomfortably against my little toe. I ended up returning these and going with a pair of Taos Z-Souls instead, which didn't seem to have the same problem for me.

The shoe was good but about a year later has a small hole in the front on both feet. Not sure if that’s worth the price.

They were a bit too narrow, and I have a medium width foot. I sent them back.

Had to send them back as soon as I tried them on because I found the arch support to be very uncomfortable -- hard, and it didn't hit my foot in the right place. Disappointed because I have very comfortable Taos sandals that I love.

These felt rather stiff and heavy compared to their appearance. They do have great support, but they just weren’t light and comfortable enough for my purposes.

I ordered the Star and the Plim to compare. Both were comfortable and fit the same (order 1/2 size up). Aesthetically, the Star reminds me of Keds, and the Plim reminds me of Vans. The Star is narrow and pointy-toed, with a thin sole tread that is shaped like the outline of your foot. The Plim is more substantial, with a rounded toe and a sole tread under the entire shoe. I like the Plim better, but ymmv. Both seem better quality than their Keds/Vans counterparts.

Fit was accurate for me and I loved the style, but unfortunately they were stiff to walk in, especially at the toe box. Had to return because they were not comfortable for me.

I really wanted to love these because of the amazing footbed. However, the toe box is too flat. I could feel where the tongue starts near my pinkie toes. The width of the toe box was fine. Also, my heel popped up when I walked, probably because I have very high arches and the foot bed raised it too high. Very sad because they are good looking too.

The shoes were the correct width and length however the arch support was hard as a rock and hit me in the wrong place. My feet ached after wearing the shoes for any length of time.

These are so cute but I could not even get my foot in. I am a true size 7, these are super small. I am afraid to guess on a different size. Sadly I am returning.

Fit and size were perfect, and they looked great. However, because I have peripheral neuropathy there is not enough cushion in the forefoot for me. Unfortunately I will return these cute sneakers.

I loved the style of this shoe and also the deep red color. The main flaw is the insole. While giving excellent support to my arch, the entire footbed is very hard. I need cushion and comfort, and these were a huge disappointment. They will be returned.
