The Merrell Riverbed are the best. I picked them for color and ability to be wet and dry quickly. They are so comfortable right out of the box. I needed something between a hiking shoe and around town walking shoe. I ordered 2 pairs by mistake but I will most likely keep the other pair. They rare light weight and bouncy.

These are my favorite summer shoes and I hope Merrell comes out with more next year. I have bought three pairs in the last 3 years. They are super comfortable, breathable and light. I use them as summer hikers. However they are mesh so if you walk on the beach they will eventualy fill with sand.

I just love the Merrell Riverbed. This is my fourth pair. They last a really long time. The vibram soles are super rugged. I thought this shoe had been discontinued so I was superstoked to find these. I never have to break them in, just put them on and go! Honestly feel like they were made for my feet. And you can't say enough good things about Zappos and their staff. Couldn't be happier about my purchase.

Cute, lightweight shoes. They are very flexible. I hike in rocky areas and would never use them in an environment where I needed stability, support or protection. Seemed true to size and would be great for the use the name describes, crossing a riverbed in relatively calm not too rough areas. Cool and cute. The shoe simply didn't meet my needs.

Nice, lightweight gym or walking shoe. Very thin materials so I would not wear in the winter. But super light so great for the gym.

These not only look great, but they're super comfortable. I enjoy them on city streets and country roads.

I like these shoes so much that I bought a pair for Michigan and a second pair for California.

I feel great wearing them. I have had rheumatoid arthritis for 15 years. My orthopedic surgeon recommended inserting special arch supports into my shoes.. Although the Merrell Riverbed arch supports are good, I removed them and put in the orthopedic ones recommended for a person with RA. The shoes are fine for a person who needs to insert orthopedic arch supports.

Got these for kids camp. Comfortable as a regular athletic shoe, good for hiking, and quick drying for getting wet. Mesh sides keeps out most debris other than finer sand/dirt. Kids usually complain with sandals about sticks and rocks getting inside their shoes.

They seemed light and would have been comfortable except with my orthotics in they were very tight so I had to return them. I like the vibram soles and the mesh.

Not comfortable. I always do 1/2 size up. These shoes feel wrong in the arch above the toes. They pinch when you bend your foot. Sending them back.
