I love these! They are comfortable and cute for a walking/hiking sandal. I wore them all around national parks in Utah and the Grand Canyon and had no problems, I did not even break them in first.

Comfortable from day one. Ordered because I’d left my orthotics at home and we were on vacation and walking/hiking. They didn’t disappoint and made a reasonable substitute for having custom orthotics to insert into shoes.

I wear Merrill’s all the time and these were huge. The straps were sharp and uncomfortable so I opted to not order a size smaller. They are cute.

These sandals are super comfy. I wore them to 2 walking events in NYC. I have plantar fasciitis and it did not flare up. Strap is adjustable. Looks cute with shorts or casual summer dress.

Excellent sandals. My feet are very sensitive to rough edges, and I have flat feet so I need solid, supportive arch support. These sandals were soft and comfortable on my skin and provide very good arch support. I knew they were keepers the second I put them on.

This is exactly the kind of walking sandal I've been looking for and I wanted desperately to have them work for me. Most walking sandals are way too "clunky" for skinny feet. I read after receiving my normal size that they run large, so I ordered a size down, but the same issue holds. There is a small ridge in the insole. I'm assuming it's supposed to fit between your toes and the ball of your foot, but it hits further back. It was too uncomfortable to talk myself out of, so I have to return both sizes. Still looking for just the right walking sandal. Thank goodness for Zappos free shipping and free returns. It means those of us who are hard to fit have a chance at ultimately finding the right shoes for us.

Very comfortable- I have bone spurs in my heel/plantar fasciitis and have been shopping for new shoes to address this. I have always liked Merrell so I tried their flipflop (no, not the same as the ones from years ago that my dog ate grrrrr) and then these. I wear a solid size 8. The recommended size was size 7 and before I realized it, I placed the order. Well guess what? They fit perfect! Heels and toes where they ought to be, not hanging off anywhere. And they are COMFORTABLE IMMEDIATELY. And... they look much nicer than the Birkenstocks - more flattering on my feet. If you have a recommended size when you're ordering, try it. Order both if you're in a hurry and return the other. Zappos is really the only shoe store I have shopped at for several years- great service, fast shipping, great selection and easy returns.

I wear a 7-1/2 in these and usually wear size 8 shoes. At first, they feel like the insole is not where you need support, but after wearings the shoes seem to adjust to your foot. This is my second pair. I wish they came in white.

I usually wear a size 7.5 or sometimes an 8 but this size 7 fits perfectly. Very comfortable and lightweight. Good support and solid footprint without looking like a “sport” sandal.

These shoes are great. They are comfortable and stylish. I don’t do well with between the toe sandals, so these are great. They don’t look too much like old lady shoes either. They do run large, I ordered a half size smaller. They are also not very wide. I have a narrow foot and they fit great. I got the brown and the black.

I walk my dogs 3 to 5 miles a day, and every year need to find new summer walking sandals that can support me walking 20+ miles a week. These fit the bill! Great comfort first time I wore them, decent arch support, hold my foot stationary where it's supposed to be. If this model is around next year, I'll buy another pair.

Love Love Love.these shoes!! Great out of the box. I like that they are ALL LEATHER, not like some of the other Merrell's. I use to buy the All leather Lattice shoe, BUT then they changed one strap that went over the top to a man made material. That shoe didn't work, no give in that material and would get to tight after having them on for a while. So then they hurt across the toe area. They have stayed in the box after several tries to make them work. The All LEATHER ones I Wore the bottoms off those shoes..and still have them. I wish merrell would go back to the all leather Lattice shoe. Love the new merrell's and I bought 2 pairs.That way I know I will have sandals for years to come. They fit a lot like the all leather Lattice ones that I LOVED!

Straps too sharp, and hard. Straps didn't fit my foot right.

Sandle fit true to size, very comfortable and required no "breaking in" Love them!

This sandal runs about a half size too big so I will be returning. The size I need is not in stock which is disapponting. Otherwise the sandal feels great and I love the looks of it. I will definitely be looking for it again to purchase.

Very comfortable sandal, definitely runs big. I'm normally an 8/8.5 & had to order a 7.

I have many pairs of sandals but I seem to grab these most often. They are extremely comfortable, lightweight and look good with anything I wear. I have them in black and a denim color so all bases are covered. Try them; you won’t be sorry!

These are great sandals with a nice, thick sole for walking around comfortably. The straps around the toe area are loose enough that they don’t rub and give me blisters. The other reviewers are right: I typically wear size size 8.5 or 9 and the 8 fit me perfectly.

These fit perfectly (I got a size 8 and I'm usually an 8-8.5). Look really nice and were as comfortable as my other Merrell sandals. Happy with the price, too!

These are extremely comfortable and reasonably cute. I normally wear a size 8 or sometimes even 8.5 in sneakers, and these fit in a size 7, so they run quite large.

Didn’t buy them for the looks but was expecting more comfortable sandal than they are. They are lightweight & feel like your not wearing any sandals at all, which is good but there is minimal support. I was expecting more of a softer foot bed. Leather is kind of hard too.

The strap rubs my ankle ( outside). Made ankle bleed. Was surprised as I wear nothing but Merrells. Put little insole in to raise my foot.

I wish this sandal came in 1/2 sizes. The 8 is too small, and the 9 is too big. Otherwise, this sandal has great comfort and style.

Love these sandals. Perfect for my need, however, the left sandal was a very tight fit, while the right sandal was perfect. Had to return them unfortunately.

There is a weird ridge running horizontally across the middle of the shoe -- not sure if it's supposed to be the arch support, but it extends way beyond the arch. Feels like I'm stepping on a stick every time my foot comes down. Very uncomfortable. Also seems to run very large; I ordered half a size down from my usual size, and my foot was swimming in it. With no way to adjust the straps across the top of your foot, and very minor adjustment allowed by the lone velcro strap, it's difficult to make it fit your foot well.
