Definitely NOT for standing. I’m a barista who’s on my feet at least 6 hours for my shifts. My feet are sore wearing these compared to my cross trainers in which I could work 8hr shifts without feeling a thing.

The shoes had a powerful unpleasant chemical smell out of the box. I did a ton of online research and concluded there was a good chance the smell wouldn't go away. I didn't bother to try them on, since I couldn't tolerate the odor.

Of the four different walking shoes I ordered, these are the pair I’m keeping (I also ordered two from Vionic and one pair of Rykä). My usual size and the regular width fit me great. Even with my high instep and slightly wide feet, these felt good. They are roomy enough to wear with a substantial sock. The fact that they are mesh and have slightly stretchy laces means you can wear different sock thicknesses. It also means I am able to loosen them over my instep. They’re also the coolest looking of the bunch (I’m hoping that will help motivate me to put them on and go walking). The price is reasonable, too.

My last pair of Nike sneakers had a hole in them because of how much walking i do. So although these feel a half size bigger I’m still going to keep them. Walking 3 miles a day and my feet feel so supported to where i want to keep going.

Runs small all over. Will exchange for a larger shoe as the shape will work well for my wide forefoot and narrow heel.

I waited a few months to post a review, I wanted to make sure I was just as happy with them 3 months later of use.The colors are great. Sizing felt just a little bigger than my other 9.5 Nikes. Have great arch support. Usually I replace the inner soles for better arch support but not with these. Also, that annoying squeak that most Nike running shoes have, these DO NOT have that squeak. Love these Nike running shoes!

Get a size bigger.

Was looking for a good work shoe with some traction and this Downshifter is very comfortable. Gives decent movement support with good cushioning in the sole. True to Nike sizing. I use orthotics for my high arches. Have a narrow heel but need room for my forefoot, and these work perfectly. The left shoe is very slightly wrinkled in front due to bad glue job, but not too noticeable. One reviewer said she noticed a chemical smell, but I don't smell anything at all in my pair. The tongue in this Nike does tend to slip to the side just a teensy bit. Got them on sale so a good bargain. Love the dark gray with silver foil color.

I ordinarily wear an 8 but went up 1/2 six=ze in these. They feel great.

These are hands down the most comfortable pair of shoes I’ve purchased in a long time! I love the fit and the way they look. 5 out of 5 for sure!

Purchased these for my mother who where’s a 9. Based on the reviews I thought it best to get the 9.5, and she confirmed that it fits like a 9. I don’t personally wear these, but I would definitely listen to the reviews stating they run large.

This shoe runs quite narrow, which I guess is typical Nike, although I thought I'd be okay since I ordered a half size larger - nope! To add insult to injury, the laces are extraordinarily short. Even beFORE I loosened the laces (I have a deep arch), the were barely long enough to tie. Now, they are super short. Overall, they do look nice I guess.

I really like this shoe! However, they are wearing holes in the toes and I have only owned them for a couple months. I'm sure I will have a hole in just a few weeks if not sooner. Very disappointed.

While I really like the look of these shoes, they're not not good for my feet or type of foot issues. They're quite hard/stiff, like there's nothing between your foot and the ground. I tend to pronate outwards and these feel as if they are made for someone whose foot pronates inwardly. There's quite a bit of support on the inside of the foot. Not much arch support in my opinion but I need more with all the ankle injuries I have had. If you're someone who likes a more "bare" feeling sneaker and/or your feet pronate inwardly, then you might like these a lot. Otherwise, try another style.

I am a true size 10. My feet are slightly on the narrow side. This show hugged my foot nicely. This show is very light weight. I didn’t like the color on the website. But when I saw it in person…… pure love. I’ve received so many compliments. Looks great with jeans.

Cute shoes. Nice color. Very light on the feet. I wear a size 7. Feels snug across the top of feet, however, is comfortable and does not bother me when I'm wearing it to do errands.

This is a great basic Nike sneaker. Unfortunately, it was too narrow in the toe box for my foot. I also ordered a Nike Tanjun which has a wider toebox which was very comfortable and accommodated my custom orthotics. Thanks Zappos for your great return policy!

Too tight for high arches.

I wear size 7 Nike 's all the time and although these look great, they are very stiff and snug. Normally I'd order the next size up but I prefer a shoe that has more give. These lace up higher on the ankle and just aren't comfotable for me.

These shoes are super cute. Purchased 4 months ago and they are extremely comfortable. I wear them inside only and not for working out. HOWEVER- within a month of wearing them, the fabric lining under the mesh on the left shoe began a hole that continues to get bigger. Please keep in mind that I get pedicures regularly and don’t have gnarly nails or anything!! Poor design.

Felt narrow and poor arch supporter

These shoes were awful. I ordered half a size up and wide width and I could barely get my foot in. The bottom of the shoes were not flexible at all and the shoe actually hurt after I squeezed my foot in. They had a weird smell too. Cute looking shoes but just not true to size or width whatsoever. Would not recommend. (I got shoes after these from another brand that starts with an "A" in my normal size and not even wide width and they fit me a million times better than these!)

The arch support in these sneakers is very good. I do not have to wear my inserts in these sneaker. I love the neon green that I ordered. The fabric is very breathable.TBe specific about your likes and dislikes. How was the fit and size? What does the material feel like? How awesome (or not) do you feel wearing them?

Great running shoe but runs somewhat big
